I moved to New York, and choosing Roomrs was the best decision I made to find a room in Manhattan! From the beginning, they helped me find the perfect option for my needs. The process was quick, and I had no issues at all. The apartment is well-equipped, and it's great that you can easily reach out to them whenever you need. I love my neighborhood; East Harlem is a fantastic area to live in with plenty of places to explore and easy access to the subway!
If you’re looking for an apartment, definitely reach out to Roomrs. They’re really fast and help with everything you need.

very good experience living in a Roomrs' apartment
My experience in a Roomrs apartment was very good. I would recommend it to anyone looking for accommodation in New York. I lived in East Harlem and completely loved the neighborhood and my building. The apartments are well equipped, there is a wide variety of prices and they have many options in the best areas of the city. Also, the customer service is highly functional as they are very attentive and fast. It was so easy to find an apartment that would suit my needs. 5 stars!!

Great Experience
Roomrs made it much simpler to find an apartment for my last semester in NYC. Rather than signing a full year lease, I was able to sign for just a few months, allowing me to save a lot of money, especially as the apartment is fully furnished. Great customer service. Quick to answer any and all questions. Apartments are in incredible locations, and everything is provided. Really great experience.

It was a great site!
It was a great site to have as a short term leasing option and beyond. I got recommended to it by a friend and Roomrs made it so easy to find a place and get settled in rather than searching for sublets

Simple, Quick, Safe
My experience with Roomrs was entirely positive. Earlier this year, I urgently needed a short-term lease in Brooklyn for the upcoming summer. After numerous searches and attempts, I came across Roomrs and started the application process. I was given a virtual tour of their apartment rental in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn, and was very pleased with what I saw. Within a week, the Roomrs team assisted me with the application process, approval, and getting me into the apartment before my internship start date. My three months in the Roomrs apartment were genuinely great—I befriended my roommates, made new friends in the city, and loved the cleanliness and modern design of my apartment. Overall, I highly recommend Roomrs to anyone searching for apartments in New York City. They are easy to communicate with, efficient, and trustworthy.

I found a Room in NYC over Roomrs and can definitely recommend it! The application process is really easy and really helpful for Foreigners who are staying for a short amount of time in the US (eg. Internship/Studies) . You have the option to do a virtual tour of the whole place and there will be no surprises when you move there. The Check-In was really easy and the apartment is well equipped. The only thing which could be improved is maybe the cleanliness and the way to get to know your roommates (they usually’just’ send an email a few days before your arrival) but overall I can definitely recommend it

Dirty apartments upon move in. No running water. No fridge. Landlords who claim to have an after hours support line, but it's just an answering service that can't provide any help.

Could not recommend Roomrs enough
Could not recommend Roomrs enough - I moved to New York for my master's and Roomrs made the move super easy. I was able to apply and sign online, and the process was simple and straightforward. Moving to a new place can be extremely anxiety inducing, but the Roomrs team was very responsive and throughout my entire stay I was able to email actual humans and sort any issues out. The most important part for me was not having to worry about finding furniture before moving in, the rooms were fully furnished with tasteful appliances and furnishings. I had some maintenance and repair issues when I first moved in , but they were fixed within the week. No complaints overall !

Absolutely amazing!
I truly have nothing but good things to say about roomrs. I took a leap of faith and signed a year lease (first lease signing in nyc so I was very nervous), and it was such a smooth, incredible process. My room was great, my roommates were so kind, and the roomrs team is awesome! Any issue we had was quickly resolved and communication was great, which is rare to find in nyc. For the price, this is an incredible option for those who are first time renters or anyone looking for a short- long term stay somewhere! All of my other roommates also loved roomrs, and were impressed with everything. The proximity to the train stations is also an added bonus and something you’ll be very grateful for. I recommend it to everyone I talk to about renting, if that means anything!

Perfect NYC Room
This co-living apartment in Williamsburg is a fantastic find! The location is unbeatable, with amazing brunch spots and bars nearby, and McCarren Park just a short walk away. The room is cozy and well-maintained, and the roommates are friendly and respectful. The accessible roof offers stunning sunset views, making evenings special. Plus, it's only 20 minutes to get anywhere below 50th St in Manhattan during rush hour. Highly recommend for a great NYC experience! Five stars!

Best opinion for an easy and quick move
Roomrs made my move in process soooo simple! I was having a hard time finding a place to rent and Roomrs accepted me so quickly. Additionally, it was fully furnished which was helpful and made moving in a lot quicker. They responded back to emails promptly and answered any questions or concerns I had. There are also different leasing options which is nice. There were monthly cleanings which were okay, but definitely could have gone without. Overall I am thankful for Roomrs and the service they provide! I would absolutely recommend this company.
