Ruvioli Avis 5

I had a very disappointing experience renting a car from this company. When I picked up the car, the fuel gauge showed full, but just a few minutes after leaving the parking lot, one bar dropped — clearly, the tank wasn’t actually full.

To make things worse, there’s no gas station near the airport — the closest one is 15 minutes away. When I returned the car, it was missing just one bar, and the lady at the counter was extremely rude. I explained the situation, but she falsely claimed I had used two bars, and then charged me €45 for just that. Total rip-off.

The AC didn’t work, and the car was dirty when I got it — honestly, it was cleaner when I returned it than when they gave it to me.

I come here often and have many friends who also travel here, and I’ll make sure none of them ever rent from this company.

Do yourself a favor — go with Avis or another reputable brand. This company is dishonest, unprofessional, and not worth the hassle. I will never rent from them again.

This is second time we used Ruvioli and the service is absolutely brilliant. From collection to return. Very efficient and good value. Will definitely use them again.

Last month we spent 10 days in Sardinia and we rented a car via Ruvioli – we didn’t book in advance with them, we had booked via a different (terrible) company but we had some issues on arrival and so started to look for alternatives.

Thank GOD we bumped into Ravioli – they were SO helpful and friendly compared to the terrible experience he had just had with the other company.

In less than 15 minutes we had a car in our hands – amazing and brand-new car and it was immaculate. The price was also incredible, we could not believe it!

Being a family business, you can really tell the difference on how they treat the customers & the customer service we received was undeniable the best we ever had in our lives!

We cannot thank Paola and her brother – sorry we forgot your name :( - for everything they have done for us! We started our holidays so stressed about the issue with the other company that we couldn’t believe the service we were getting with Ruvioli!

I truly do not have words for this company and makes me so happy that a family business is doing so well and makes everything from their heart!

Cannot wait to go back to Sardinia in the future and will definitely use their services again!

Best Rent-a-Car experience we've ever had.

The car was new (FIAT 500L) and served us extremely well.

No queues, no deposit, no fuss. Super quick collection and return. Very competitive price (probably the lowest of all the companies operating inside Olbia-Costa Smeralda Airport) and the best service ever received.

Communication with the amazing people at Ruvioli was fantastic, from the first email until the last day of rental.
We not only received a 5 Star service (from the moment of the booking, until we returned the car - and everything in between): the guys at Olbia Airport (Paola, Marco and Elia) went above and beyond. We honestly can't thank them enough.

We can't recommend Ruvioli enough, and they will definitely be our first choice for our future rentals in Sardinia!

Totally above board, helpful and reliable car hire from Cagliari Elmas Airport. They accepted normal bank card (or cash, even) for the deposit. Lovely new Panda. No surprise hidden scratches suddenly appearing on return. We just paid what we'd booked! Surprising, after reading really scary reviews for other firms. A totally relaxing experience altogether, and the guys on the desk were friendly and helpful, too. We booked online before leaving, which is a bit cheaper.
