The customer should come first. At Sahara that is definitely not the case. They charge for delivery and returns which in the days of online shopping is ridiculous. They also had a system where they started a loyalty programme whereby discounts were earned for use at a later date. It was scrapped before many people - including me - had used the money accrued. On querying this I was told it was no longer in use. NO warning was given! Incredible disregard for customers. Having been a long term customer I have now unsubscribed from their mailings. I like to be valued as a customer!

I have bought several items from Sahara and been very pleased with them. However, I recently returned an item which I didn't like (and thought overpriced). I notice with interest that my review is not shown on the website.

The hat I ordered arrived with a small blue ink smudge on the brim. I reported it to Sahara who offered an immediate exchange but there was no time before I wanted to wear it. Sahara then offered a generous discount and postage refund which initially I accepted but subsequently I decided to return the hat. Throughout Carly at customer services was sympathetic, helpful and fulfilled a no quibble return. Faultless service. Thank you.

FANTASTIC SERVICE: Contacted Sahara Customer Care about an earring breaking. “ Sara” text me requesting a photo of the earring, they then organised pickup and have informed me of a replacement in the post! All dealt within a week👏👏👏👏👏👏THANKYOU

Great clothing, great customer service - I had a problem with a delivery of clothing which was not the fault of Sahara, but the customer service agent I spoke with went above and beyond trying to chase it up and help me. The clothes are on the pricey side, but the quality is fabulous and the customer service also.

Yet another company that’s returns policy is disgraceful any decent company accepts returns and therefor welcome customers back their product I bought was lovley however the size and colour were NOT as described and I would of happily returned and bought from them again BUT after their poor customer service I will never recommend or buy from this company again I’d advise to stay away

Absolutely adore Sahara clothes. Colourful, sometimes quirky and beautifully made with quality fabrics. I have always ordered online as I don't have a store near me and only rarely have needed to return an item.

Brilliant store in Ludlow. Colourful clothes and great choices . Staff helpful and informative. Bought lovely new season dress and matching necklace. I'll be back

Normally the service I receive is excellent - and I am satisfied - On this Occasion the communication was very uncharacteristically poor.

I discovered Sahara a few years ago while on holiday in the UK. Today I was in the Tunbridge Wells store to buy the Marie Linen Dress (by Zyga). The dress is as beautiful as it looks on the website. I am usually about a size 14, tried on the M and L; the M was perfect. Also, very helpful and kind ladies working there; they gave me good advice! Thanks so much! Another lovely Sahara dress that I know I will wear a lot. The quality is always good. I am a fan and will certainly be back in the Tunbridge Wells store! (Also, I prefer trying on clothes in a shop rather than ordering online) Soooo, how about opening a Sahara store in The Netherlands?😃😄

I first came across Sahara almost 20 years ago and have been a fan ever since.
As a regular visitor to the Marylebone "flagship" store, I've noticed that service levels there appear to have fallen to a point where customers are made to feel positively unwelcome.
Last week, for example, I went there to buy a Zyga dress. Despite being shown as a best seller on the website, the staff didn't recognise the label and - when I asked them to look it up online - announced it wasn't one they stocked. Although I was the only customer, that was the extent of our interaction and they immediately resumed a conversation about a restaurant one of them had been to the previous day.
By contrast, I called into the Bristol store a few weeks ago. It was busy but the staff couldn't have been more welcoming and made shopping there a real pleasure.

SAHARA: please improve Marylebone. There seems little point in having a store in an expensive part of London unless it provides customers with a better experience.

Great customer service and quality clothes . I recently had cause to return a faulty pair of boots. Sahara dealt with the problem very promptly with helpful and friendly staff . The whole process was extremely efficient and I was very impressed with the quality of customer service I received .

I am going to my niece's wedding on Cornwall. I have a very smart outfit but needed a cool top in case it is too warm to wear the coat. This shirt is perfect. The colour, cut and material will not crush in suitcase.
Delivered within a couple of days.

I’ve bought several Sahara garments and have always been happy with them. However, I’ve had cause to contact customer service after the seam ripped on a dress whilst washing. I followed the instructions explicitly and this was only the 2nd time of washing. Their response was that they saw no fault with it and because it was old season and bought in a sale they wouldn’t accept a return. Does the fact that it was in a sale mean it cannot be washed more than once before falling apart? I wasn’t even expecting a refund but their customer service was poor and their response almost insulting.

I've used Sahara a few times, I love the quality of their clothing and there is always something a little special! I bought a dress a little while ago and had an issue with the fabric. They have replaced the dress, without question and despite the fact that I complicated the situation by ordering another dress at the same time as returning a dress. They sorted everything out for me. No quibble, very quickly and with great good humour and patience from Carly, the customer services representative that has been helping me! Excellent company. I cannot fault them.

I have shopped at Sahara for years, always online as sadly there is no store near me. Their customer service is second to none, but this Easter weekend they excelled themselves. I ordered a beautiful jumpsuit late on Good Friday afternoon, it arrived first thing this morning, the day after Easter Monday. Amazing! Thank you Sahara!

What fantastic customer service!
I loved the colour, fabric and shape of a dress I had ordered, but was rather unhappy with the way the cowl neck sat on me. Not only did they say I could try pressing or steaming the neckline, they said if I was still not happy they would refund. When I, with great regret, said I had been unable to improve the neckline to my satisfaction, they suggested the dress could be collected by DPD at no charge.
I highly recommend this company from whom I have bought before.

I have only just started shopping with Sahara having received a catalogue through the post - fell in love with a dress in there...and the rest is history!

Thrilled to have found a company that offers such different and unusual clothes (and can't tell you how much I love my Lofina boots - my favourite footwear bar none!) - expensive perhaps, but such lovely quality and I suspect that timelessness combined with price per wear (for years to come) makes them a very good buy indeed - and everything I've bought has made me very happy!

I had cause to contact customer service for a damaged item and found them to be nothing but charming and helpful - organised a courier collection (and when DPD failed to turn up - nothing to do with Sahara - a refund for sorting my own return out) and arranged a replacement with absolutely no fuss or delay.

I'm delighted with all my dealings with Sahara - LOVE their quirky, classy, unusual clothes and look forward to shopping with them again very soon!
