Scarlett & Jo Avis 

I’ve always hated clothes shopping, all it led to was feeling bad about myself. At 50+ and needing to lose a few stones I therefore was not looking forward to trying to find a dress for my wedding. I thankfully discovered Scarlett & Jo and had the happiest time trying on dresses. I felt like a real bride to be twirling around in pretty frocks and was spoilt for choice. Our wedding was a wonderful elopement wedding with just our children in York. Walking through the streets of York and photos in Museum Gardens would have filled me with dread but I felt so confident in my dress. I also purchased a second dress which I fell in love with and have worn that for two dinner occasions since. I’m a jeans and T-shirt girl but Scarlett & Jo have shown me the joy of being a girly girl……thank you xx

I’ve just bought my first S&J dress, for an October wedding. Wish I’d discovered them years ago but now I have I don’t think I’ll be stopping at one!

I have 5 Scarlett and Jo dresses which I adore! The prints are beautiful, the fabric feels really great quality and the shape is so flattering. As someone with large breasts and a tummy (size14/16), the dresses make me feel so confident and elegant. The shoulder pads help to make such a pretty neckline, I now want to sew them into everything!
I even wore one of the dresses to a wedding in May at 7 months pregnant and was totally comfortable all day and night in it (it wasn’t a maternity one, just regular).
This brand is excellent!

I ordered 2 dresses from Scarlett and Jo. Firstly I must say that the dresses are beautiful, comfortable, flattering and good value. Unfortunately they didn't suit me so I returned them.
The dresses arrived at their destination on 22nd Jan.
I e-mailed the company to chase my refund and received no reply. I used the chat facility and got no response. I eventually raised a complaint via PayPal.
PayPal Have today told me that I will get a refund but I have still not heard from Scarlett and Jo.
This has taken 7 weeks.
I would say that if you decide to buy a Scarlett and Jo item then purchase via a well known store as sadly the customer service at Scarlett and Jo was in my case non existent.

Excellent service. Ordered and delivered within 3 working days. The claret velvet dress is stunning. I will wear it as mother of the bride for a Christmas wedding. The quality of the dress is top class and I've tried on quite a few over the last couple of months!! Size 14 fits my 5ft 9 ins frame. Absolutely delighted with it.

The dresses are lovely and very flattering, however they took ages to arrive (not within the time frame promised by the delivery option I chose) and they do not reply to emails! I chased several times as I was worried as they had not turned up but never got a reply. Luckily they did eventually and I was very pleased with them but my experience would make me wary of any future orders.

Ordered 4 dresses & kept one. Beautifully made & of good quality. Returning items was easy and my refund was processed promptly.
However one dress that I had returned separately was not refunded, when I contacted Scarlett & Jo to query this, the refund was put back into my account later on that day.
What an excellent service & what lovely quality dresses😁

Ordered dress 2 days ago arrived today and I couldn't be any happier dress is gorgeous and so comfy to wear i feel like a million in it fits perfectly can't wait for the wedding in April 24 to wear it will be shopping with scarlett & jo a lot from now on

Just ordered 2 dresses to try for a wedding snd I'm very pleased with them, they're well made and fit really well. They're so nice I've decided to keep both of them.

Ordered dress on 3rd of February
Arrived 6th February. True to size. Beautifully made and fully lined. First time ordering and after reading reviews was wary. I will be ordering again *****

Recently bought a ‘velvet’ dress and it arrived quickly. However it looks nothing like the image in the website and is not ‘velvet’ but a much cheaper velour fabric. Seams are puckered and do not lie flat, and lining ripped . True to size which was good, but looks like a cheap knockoff. Will
Be returning. Very disappointed as the company was recommended by a friend. Hope my refund comes through quickly as it was not cheap.

Only ordered one dress though, and it is exactly what I wanted! Arrived the next day, as paid for, fit, colour and quality much better than expected.

Ordered three dresses. One was fine. Returned 2. Still awaiting refund for other two. No responses at all to my emails and messages. Sadly just come across this. Wish I had seen this before I ordered. Will keep trying to get my refund as I can Not afford to lose the money. Disgusting!! Don’t use this company!! They are not trustworthy!

Terrible customer service!!!dresses were nice but I have returned two , got refund only for 1 . send 5 emails - still no reply , called and left voicemail still no reply !
Impossible to get trough to customer service ! So poor taking into account that dresses are not cheap !

The dresses are lovely. Unfortunately returning them is a nightmare. There was no sign of a refund at all. I contacted and got one reply saying they would check the warehouse. Then nothing. Resorted to Twitter and Facebook messenger, no replies. Finally got through to someone on live chat who sorted the refund straight away so they’d obviously had the dresses back. Eventually got an email saying there had been a problem with the messaging service. Doesn’t explain the initial lack of refund, or social media ignoring though. Have googled and it seems there are some financial difficulties which could explain their reluctance.

Waiting on a refund, unable to contact directly via phone, bought a dress, returned it out of the 30 days as personal circumstances, wanted to exchange to be told no size available to me, nothing but trouble, steer clear!

I have purchased numerous dresses from Scarlett & Jo & I am always pleased with my purchases,Highly recommended

Customer service is non responsive. They ignore customer emails and attempts to message via social media. Would not recommend.

I do not recommend the store. I ordered a dress and paid for DHL delivery. The dress stayed on. I haven't received my order. Unable to contact customer service. No dress and no money
