Scott Arms Dental Practice Avis 

I’ve been with this practice for almost 6 years. When Amrit was there she was amazing never had such a brilliant experience with a dentist. Once she left everything seemed to go to pot. I’ve had goodness knows how many hygienists let alone dental surgeons, have a different one every time I go now. Anyway I had an appointment today . I finished work early to go but unfortunately due to the horrendous road works especially newton road I couldn’t get through the traffic. I was literally across the road but just couldn’t move, I phoned the surgery and spoke to a lady and explained I should be there in the next 5/10 mins. She said it was fine and not to worry , When I got there the terrible car park was choc a block as usual. I had to park across the road which was a good walk which made me a few more mins late. When I got there a rude assistant told me I was late so I wouldn’t get seen, I asked her to take a look at the car park and how was I supposed to know I couldn’t park and had to walk. She told me to take a seat. Minutes late she called me to say the dentist wouldn’t see me I was too late, I asked why I was told it was okay by a receptionist . She asked me her name I said I had no reason to ask her name. She was very rude said the computers were down so couldn’t make another appointment. I was fuming I left work early for nothing . I know they don’t care but you have lost a loyal customer. Shocking customer service and your receptionists need a course of people skills. Sort yourself out guys what’s going on. So many staff have left. Now customer are leaving. Thanks for nothing today

Excellent service from both the dental clinician and the staff who were very helpful

The dentist practitioners work at a very high standard of care and this shows through the professionalism they convey on each of my visits to the practice. The receptionists are too very courteous and polite and can’t do more for you to work around your lifestyle. I would highly recommend this practice to family and friends.

I have been a long-time patient of Scotts Arms and have always had positive experiences—until my most recent visit. Recently, I called in regarding discomfort in my back tooth and was given an appointment for 9 PM after initially specifying my need for a late appointment. I was seen by a dentist named Mandeep, who was incredibly rude and unprofessional during our interaction.
Despite not requesting an emergency appointment, Mandeep insisted I needed two fillings but could only provide temporary solutions. When I expressed my confusion, he laughed and said, “Who do you think is going to give you a normal appointment at 9 PM?” This comment made me feel belittled, and he seemed indifferent to my concerns.
When I spoke with the reception staff afterwards, they mentioned that stating I was in pain automatically classified my visit as an emergency. I don't agree with this policy, as I simply voiced my need for an appointment, the same way I would for a doctor's visit.
While the reception staff and Mandeep's assistant were helpful, Mandeep's dismissive attitude was unacceptable. Patients deserve to be treated with respect and understanding, and I hope he can improve his communication style in the future.
Overall, my experience today was very disappointing, and I hope the clinic addresses this issue moving forward.

Felt completely at ease from moment of checking in.

I visited the practice with a painful wisdom tooth .I was greeted by reception who was really nice , Then was introduced to Dr Andrew Khalli who took me through the process of having a Xray to see exactly what was going on unfortunately for me the wisdom tooth had also damaged the tooth next to it ,Both had to be removed that day i was concerned because i take a blood thinner and was concerned about bleeding but i cant give him enough praise for professionalism on how he went about it i left the practice feeling very positive from a bad situation the whole process was pain free from start to finish also dental nurse was very good im booked back in one month

Fast friendly and very welcoming

For one minute treatment they charge me £46 and for prescription I’d never knew the rule where they don’t give you paper prescription. You have to buy a prescription from them which costed me £26 rather than £10.

Timely and professional service

The staff are wonderful. The reception staff are so kind. I had a late night emergency appointment and all the staff are working so hard. Everything was explained to me from the first phone call.

I visited your practice yesterday after (12.35 with Tannay) this was an emergency appointment for a problem that I have put off for 7 whole years due to being petrified of any dental work or any dentist. How wrong I was !!!!
From the moment I walked through the reception door I was greeted with smiling friendly faces, the whole atmosphere was very calm and very chilled, even though very busy the practice runs like a very well oiled machine. It was a joy to hear staff chatting and laughing together - not stuffy or regimental like usual surgery’s. 
It was not too long of a wait before a lovely assistant came and fetched me and took me to the most incredible room with a view and Tannay was waiting for me . He was so kind , so patient and so understanding obviously noticing I was nervous he talked me through every single step of what was going to happen and what to expect after  . Within minutes my 7 years of suffering was over .
I am so happy to have found The Scott Arms Practice and I have already booked my next appointment. Paying the bill was also a nice experience- no overcharging or feeling of being ripped off ! 
This practice get a well deserved 10/10 from me . Thank you to Tannay and his nurse ( so annoyed with myself for not asking her name ) you have both restored my faith so hopefully one day I can be proud of my smile again.

Friendly staff, the dentist, they are professional. I would recommend them to friends and family.

From Reception to the dentist chair and back, I was well taken care of. There was a slight delay to my appointment which wasn't acknowledged but I had a very positive experience under the expert care of Dara Cotton. She is welcoming, knowledgeable and pragmatic in her approach. Always careful to acknowledge my needs as a patient.

Everybody is super professional and friendly at Scott Arms Dentist.
Jamie is a fantastic dentist and I'm very satisfied with the services.
