Currently dealing with week 2 of trying to rid myself of the horrible folliculitis their razor has caused. It didn’t start until about a week after shaving, but noticed I was nicked several times when I shaved. Terrible redness and itching down my forearms and shins. Had to be placed on an antibiotic and use a steroid cream. Derm flat out said “that razor hates you”. It was BRAND NEW and used with Aveeno shave cream. Never again! Terrified of deep infection from this. It’s ruined my summer.

I would leave 0 stars if I could. The razor always caused razor burn. I tried with shaving gel and without. It was expensive so I didn't want to give up on it. But I'll never buy anything from flamingo again. Even their aftershave didn't ease the razor burn.

Worst razor I have ever used. It gave me the worst reaction on my legs I have ever had, SO many giant swollen ingrown bumps all over my legs that have been taking weeks and weeks to heal (I still have marks from over a month old, and ones still nowhere near done healing). It is actually horrible. I have NEVER had a reaction or irritation like this to any other razor (and I have tried so many different razors from many different brands/types/price points/etc, AND many different shower gels/soaps/lotions/etc all on my legs and never had a reaction - I do not have sensitive skin on my legs). I am throwing it out and will never used again. Please spare yourself or do like a small patch test with this razor honestly!

I have used flamingo razors for quite a few years. I thought it was a great product
I recently bought some replacement blades as I have done for over four years.
When it was time to open the box and use one I was shocked.
I had to go back to the box to make sure I hadn’t bought a generic blade

Immediately caused me the most painful razor burn under my pits. Legs shaved up well. I have an extreme nickel allergy & I've never had underarm razor burn this bad..

Cut my legs to pieces worst razor I have used! Iv been using razors for 15 years and it is the worst one! The outer plastic is a wrong design makes it uncomfortable for your leg and doesn’t flex. I’ll go back to the brand I trust!

They used to have great razor heads. The new ones are so bad. Every shave would leave me cut up and with rashes. The hair would come back by the end of the day and I was left with painful ingrown hairs. I never had a worst experience with a razor blade in my life.

Decided to treat myself to something that actually looks nice for a change. The first razor did alright but the plastic/rubber parts did not last long and soon I had to replace it. When I went to replace with the second razor from the pack it absolutely tore my legs apart. They were bleeding all over. I’ve never experienced such a horrendous razor. Absolutely will never use again. The thought of other people using a razor like that terrifies me.

I thought I would like this razor but boy was I wrong. When you put a head on it to shave you get 1 shave then the head goes all the way back making it useless. It's like something that holds the head in place breaks after just 1 use. Don't waste your money!!!

After a friend started using Harry's products (they are the company behind Flamingo) I was quite impressed with the quality of the products for a decent price. So when I heard about Flamingo, I hopped on, subscribed and tried a free test.

I found shaving time consuming and difficult because I normally ran out of blades/broke them and forgot to purchase new ones costing me more money in the long run.

Flamingo has been great, you get 8 high quality blades in each pack and it's easy to adjust the subscription (2, 4 or 6 months). The shave gel is lovely to use, smells amazing and lasts a long time once you get the full sized version.

Easy to change the blades. I've found compared to high street brands you do need to be a bit more careful when shaving however that's because it's such a close shave. Each blade lasts so much longer too I alternate between the 4 or 6 month subscription.

Definitely give the free trial a go, Flamingo has given me piece of mind and has made shaving a better experience overall.

I was incredibly disappointed with this razor. I really, really wanted to like it, especially when I got an extra razor head in my starter kit. I used the razor and shaving cream three times.
The first time, I had about six nicks across both my legs and my legs were really irritated.
The second time I shaved really gently. No nicks but my legs were irritated again and it hurt to shave.
The third and last time, I shaved even more gently, it hurt, I nicked my legs twice, and my legs were even more irritated.
And the irritation is really painful, like little flecks of raised skin that hurt when they brush against anything, even my bed sheets or the inside of my jeans. I've had dull razors do this to my legs, but never a fresh, sharp one. Worst razor I've ever used.

Really close, smooth and easy shave!
When I came to review I was really surprised at some of the low stars!
I found this razor gave a really smooth and close shave. I noticed that the razor head didn't have any gel/soap and was skeptical at first, but found it didn't need it. I exfoliated as usual and then used my normal shave gel. I've been astounded with the quality of the blade and how long it lasts, I'd normally have expected to be way into a second razor head by now but the first blade is still sharp and easy.
I found it was particularly easy to use on my underarms even though there isn't a lot if flex in the head. It seemed to just shave well without the need to use at loads of angles.
Will definitely be buying again.

Well what can I say… used once great used again brand new blade and it’s cut me so bad I have a bad infection close to sepsis.
Contacted them didn’t care sent me Harry’s stuff (mens) and then that was it awful experience and won’t be returning.
I’m actually lucky I am not in hospital.

I’m really disappointed in my flamingo blade. After ‘treating’ myself to a more attractive looking blade I’ve been left ‘nicked’ and ‘irritated’ after each use of this from the first glide. Having previously always bought Gillette Mens I transferred to the Aldi dupe and what a mistake I was to try this blade! Just because it looked prettier. Such a waste of money and honestly I would never recommend. Don’t waste your money.

AMAZING!! I have been using the Harrys men's razors for my legs etc for years and was very impressed. When I saw they now did a ladies razor I didn't hesitate to buy one. I then read the reviews about it looking cheap, pulling and scratching and thought 'Oh well, I can always cancel if it's not very good'. My trial kit arrived within 24 hours and I tried it today. I can not express how wrong those reviews are. Pre shave I looked like a wooly mammoth 😁 I used shower gel, as always, no shaving gel etc and I've just experienced the smoothest, nick free shave since I started shaving 40+ years ago. I would highly recommend trying these razors, I'm glad I did.

I tried flamingo razor after my usual razor subscription didn’t arrive. I wouldn’t say I’d buy it again. The handle is super light which I liked, but the razor doesn’t feel smooth - the upper bit of the razor is very big which doesn’t allow for flexibility while shaving, so I especially struggled with armpits and knees. I had to go very slowly to not cut myself whereas my old razor was pretty smooth in this regard. It’s quite affordable and aesthetically pleasing so I didn’t throw it and will continue using it until I run out of razors, but I won’t repurchase.

I've ordered quite a bit from these guys,razor, shave gel, facial and body wax strips. I have used the first two.

The shave gel is AMAZING!!! Feels really luxurious, creamy and smooth! I do think the razor gives a very close shave, and really like the flexi head and grip! It does feel as though it drags a little (even with the shave gel - which really is AMAZING, but at £5 a pop is pretty pricey) but I think I prefer this, I know it's actually doing something, some of the more well known brand razors have so much "lube" around the razor I'm never sure whether it's actually cut my hair or just stroked it!!! These do feel like their cutting but not in a bad way.

For me, I've tried so many there's always something wrong with each! But this razor is pretty good! Don't be fooled by their subscription though! They expect you to use 8 razors every 6 months, which for me is no way realistic (different razors for different "bits" if that makes sense).

I haven't used the wax strips yet, but was really keen to try them as I thought they all came with a soothing post wax solution (cheap veet ones dont and I have to use my Clinique oil make up remover to remove wax from my face and body). The body wax strips DO NOT come with the solution, only the tiny face ones (which frankly aren't very good value as a I've been cutting up body ones for YEARS and using them for my face, it's MUCH better value!!). I don't understand why they don't think you need wax removing/soothing solution for your body, we all know wax sticks to everything and wherever your using it you need an oily yet soothing substance to remove it.

All in all pretty good product, but seriously watch their subscription.

Final point..... THE SHAVE GEL IS THE BEST IVE EVER EVER USED!!! I'm trying to justify £5 when I usually pay £1.50 for mens 🙈🤷🏼‍♀️😂!

These razors don't give you a close shave and I've found they've caused a lot of razor burn where I wouldn't usually. My skin feels raw after using these! Will be going back to my usual brand.

Don't know about the razors, but the wax strips were easy to use and effective. MORE IMPORTANTLY their customer service was extremely easy to work with. I purchased a subscription for every four months, and my *second* package (with twice as much product for some reason) was charged to my card and being prepped within two weeks. I was a little upset because I felt like I had agreed to purchase twenty bucks worth of stuff three times a year and they decided I'd need three times that much to "get through" the four months. I'd actually be pretty mad about the situation, but when I called to discuss and get a refund, my call was answered quickly and the refund was issued without problem. Such a nice surprise!

I bought the razor because the cute packaging caught my eye, and I sure do wish it didn’t. I opened the package excited to attach the suction cup holder that attaches to your shower wall and it BARELY stays on the wall. The razor is much too heavy for this cheap piece of plastic. That aside, I lather up my legs to do my routine shave and all I have to say is OUCH! Major major razor burn on both of my legs (I never get razor burn and I usually use cheap single or double blade razors). The conditioning part around the razor is absolutely not conditioning whatsoever. It actually is like a piece of rubber gliding on your skin after ripping through your hairs. Disappointed I spent the money and would NEVER recommend to ANYONE!
