service centre no one answers phone. I was on call for 7+ minutes!!! No option to leave message to call back.
The worst customer caring and after…
The worst customer caring and after sales service. I bought a Samsung fridge from the Maharagama Singer outlet(close to Maharagama police) and after 1 year we identified the water droplets on the surface of the digital panel of the fridge. More than 40 times we complaint about the issue and these people ridiculously slipped providing the solution. Do not go Singer outlets if you need a proper after sales service. I spent huge amount of money for the useless product. Do not ever buy Samsung fridge from the Singer outlets.
poor service & lies in kollupitiya branch
I got the rice cooker three months ago, but it hasn’t been working. I returned it for repair to the Kollupitiya branch. They said it could be repaired and would be sent back in a week, but after two weeks, I still haven’t received a reply. There was a girl who cut the phone call while talking to me. When I called again, a guy spoke to me but was unhelpful and dishonest. Now, it’s been more than two weeks, and I still haven’t received a proper answer. The staff is unprofessional........please don't go there....STUPID staff...

This review refers to the Colombo Service Centre, Borella. The manager Mr Zajith was helpful because I couldn't speak Sinhalese. Unfortunately they couldn't repair my item but he tried his best and was polite and replied to my calls and questions immediately. So, I can recommend dealing with Mr ZAJITH if you need to deal with Singer Repairs, Borella.
Really dissapointed about Singer…
Really dissapointed about Singer Laptops. I bought a Dell laptop first. Just after 5 months, it had a issue with the charging point. So I had to go to the service center several times to fix the problem. Again, the laptop had a problem with the motherboard. Then they allowed me to exchenge the laptop. So, i bought a Acer laptop paying some extra amount. Then again after several months, this laptop is not charging. I wonder how the same problem accur for two different brands. The charging locations were different for both laptops. I didnt even use any high weighted softwares. I still can charge my office laptop properly using the same port.
If you are looking for a place to buy a laptop..DO NOT GO TO SINGER!!!

I have given my Symphony Air Cooler fan to service to your service center at Maharagama couple of days ago ,(26/03/2024) ,However On 04/04/2024 someone called Palith Silva (0755047437) from that place called me & informed they have to replace something & it will be costing Rs.11000 ,so that I have asked what is the new one price & then he said it will be nearly Rs.50000, but however actual price is Rs.31999 mentioned in their website & so that I have said & okay pls do the needful ,After couple of minutes again he called me & said there are motors & other parts also damage & all together it will be costing nearly Rs.25000 & then I said no need to do it ,If can I pay additional money I would be able to buy new fan from other company ,Moreover I will be able to inform your CEO as well, I have inform to him ,Then he said it’s okay.
It’s very terrible, & as loyal clients to Singer how can I recommend them other customers in the country about your service???
As the well-known company in Sri Lanka is this way are they treating to their loyal patients??

I never ever recommend Singer to anyone who is looking for their needs.
How they are going to take competitive advantage in the market doing this kind of bad & very expensive after sales service to their loyal customers.
Since I am loyal to you all, is this the way they are treating us & they all are breaking promises, which they have done with us, might me they are aware of the world of mouth communications & customer comments & reviews nowadays more powerful than doing paid advertisements.
If I could use additional money for Symphony Air Cooler fan, I would probably be able to get better fan from other company , rather than spending so much of money for these kind of selfish money minded people.
Regarding that situation, I have already sent two emails their CEO’S so called secretary (Anusha) & copy to but sad to say I haven’t get any feedback from her yet. So what is purpose having that email???

Very bad customer service at Singer Nawalapitiya showroom. They do not help to purchase, act like they do not want to sell at all.
Singer cannot fulfil basic delivery services and fails to provide customer support
I ordered something from Singer Sri Lanka over a week ago, and the experience has been extremely disappointing. When inquiring about my order through their hotline, I received inconsistent information and was given various numbers to call, none of which led to any solution. Unfortunately, even after a week, my order has not been delivered.
The customer care service has been the worst I've ever encountered. When I reached out to them, they provided reasons for the delay but offered no solution or refund. It's frustrating when a company cannot fulfill basic delivery services and fails to provide adequate customer support. If they are unable to meet their commitment to home deliveries, they SHOULD NOT offering it as a service and get delivery charges from customers. Overall, my experience has been one of the most horrible services I've ever received.
Not recommend singer products
Not recommend singer products. They are selling damaged products. It has a customer care but after sale its customer dont care. I have purchased washing machine from Nugegoda branch but its not working properly. Now showroom pass the matter to customer care but its dont care. Please be careful before buying Singer products. Pathetic after sale service.
About my Sony tv that broke during warranty period
I have purchased many electric items from singer mega branches and I was disappointed with the customer service that they gave me. This is about my SONY TV (65 inches ) I purchased from borella budget shop and it broke during the warranty period. After I informed the nearest service center , they took the tv and told us it will take 7 to 14 days (2 weeks) to return otherwise, they give us another tv. But they took about more than 3 weeks to give us a response even then the problem was not sorted out. After we make many phone calls(to Aluthgama service center to maharagama, Maharagama to aluthgama , head office , …. And lastly made a conference call on my phone. ) after the borella budget shop branch manager Ms.Kokila Dharshani helped us to take the cash refund. When we called to Aluthgama service center there were no any responsible person to talk with us and when we asked to transfer the call to a manager or responsible person , the girl who spoke to me always refused to do it. I think her name is nimashi or imashi and I have spoke with more two girls. That girls always said that ‘the manger is on leave these days’. The funny thing was that the manager was on leave for 3 weeks and the person who handling emails (Anjana) {I don’t know if they gave me their real names} always out for lunch. After I decided to inform this issue for the director board. Before that I let the aluthgama service center know regarding this and they kept silent and disconnected the phone line. At last, the borella branch manager sorted out the problem immediately. She refunded the money on next day. So be careful before purchase any item. For the last time I would like to thanks Ms. Kokila dharshani (borella budget shop branch manager) regarding speeding up the cash refund further, she was the only genuine lady who spoke to me politely. (January 4th to February 7th )
Home security systerm
I have fixed a home security system from Singer couple of years back and recently a remote was not working and I counted the agents technician and hander over the unit for repairs . So far I have not received the unit or feed back from the technician.
We paid big sum for this security Systerm but I would say Singer Srilanka is a useless company and very poor after sale service and I do not recommend any product for any one . it’s a waste of time and Money

Bad experience
I have purchased many electrical items from singer branches. But I am really upset of the service of Seeduwa branch where any one can expect a horrible service from them. There is a old lady in the cashier counter who doesn't know what Is the customer service. She used to address people 'Oya' meya'. Not only that but also they cheat customers not giving the actual off during black Friday. I bought a TCL tab which I wasn't received the actual presantage of discount but on the same day their Rathnapura branch salesman has given the correct discount amount. When I explained the fault of deducting the discount, the lady and the manager Seeduwa branch never accepted it. They said system was correct and I was wrong. 🤣LOL I have never heard this kind of a silly answer in my entire life. They really don't know who feed the data to the system which can be wrong any time depending on the person who feed it. They both laugh at me when I explained.specially the lady has a attitude problem. She was so arrogant and disrespectful lady. She asked me to go to another branch and ask.she was so sure about the system. But I think there's something fishy about their billing. Finally they understood it was their fault not giving me the actual deduction of presantage 60%.but never excused and for refunding process, tortoise is faster than their service. It took 7 days to refund my excess amount. Manager promised to call back once refund is ready. But never called me back. I had to follow up nearly 7 days. On the last day 7th they asked me to come even one and half hour later. My dear friends never ever go to this kind of low quality service. Their service staff is horrible. If you bought anything on black Friday check weather you received the actual discount. Otherwise they will make you a fool. Think twise before step in to these shops
Disappointed and worse service ever
Disappointed and worse service ever. Singer Sri Lanka When complaints are made to customer care they promise to get back to me in 2 days. This never happens. Despite several reminders already 3 weeks has passed no one has contacted or visited home to rectify the defect. We have been long standing customers of Singer. My complaint is to get the new A/C remote instead of use one.Upto now no one has contacted or attended to my complaint. Katubedda Singer manager and service team is verry horrible

This time we bought a fridge 8 months ago which needs repairing but they have no spare parts. Trying to lodge a complaint is useless. Under warranty but can't fix - what is the point of a warranty! Previously we ordered and paid for a mattress - waited 4 months so cancelled the order. Bought from another company and delivered in 3 days
Terrible service
Bought a sewing machine in April. Took nearly 03 weeks to deliver. Because it was delivered to a place some distance away the company promised to reimburse a percentage of the travelling expenses. Upto date not done. Terrible service.

It is difficult to trust. The reason is that all the laptops, tabs, smart phones, etc. bought from this company by my friends and me unable to use them after two or three months.
It is claimed that they have been sent to the grant office for making day by day but when the customer takes it to the concerned higher department they give a completely different answer.
I do not recommend buying products from this company because it is difficult to use the same product over and over again.
