Everyone was very skilled and knowledgeable. Advice was given at the planning stage which I hadn’t considered. Made a huge difference to my room.
I was kept informed and updated on payment dates and fitting dates.
Installation was completed cleanly with consideration for my home and were friendly and respectful.
I am so pleased with the transformation, the additional storage has delivered meeting all my expectations and more.

I ordered a fitted wardrobe from Sliderobes in April, and the salesperson was helpful. The old fitted wardrobe was removed, and the new one was installed on the 3rd of July; however, four pieces of the new wardrobe were damaged:
Top track damage
Right batten damage where the track has been scraped
Left-hand back damage at the bottom left corner
Left upper side not sitting tight on top of the top-shelf

Also, they damaged the wooden floor during installation. I emailed them right after this, and the customer services team told us that the new pieces would be manufactured. However, they ignored my complaint about the damaged flooring. We agreed on a new fitting date in mid-August, which I had to cancel due to business reasons. They told me they would call me to schedule a new fitting date. After waiting for their call for almost two weeks, I emailed them again on the 3rd of September, reminding the problems. They only got back to me on the 9th of September saying they would give me a call to schedule a new fitting date. I still don't have the fitting date scheduled.
I had the worst customer experience ever in my life! Don't work with this company

We are delighted with the Sliderobes in our daughter’s room ! She is a teenager now and needed a modern room with lots of storage .Rebecca was our advisor and we really appreciated her attention to detail and ideas for the new wardrobes. She was very knowledgeable and was always happy to answer any questions.
We placed our order in June 2024 with a deposit . The installation team installed new Sliderobes on 22nd August - we were on holiday and had requested it finished as quick as possible so our daughter could return to her new bedroom as carpet and new bed also ordered .
The team were efficient , friendly and everything was done over a full day and few hours the following morning. Everything was tidied up and family reported the team worked exceptionably hard .

This is our third wardrobe with Sliderobes and the first two from 2013 are still going strong and looking beautiful. We have always worked with Jonathan Link as designer and pleased with the process, communication and the outcome. We thought the product designs were improved over the years with better finishes and add-ons. Do ask designers many questions as they are very knowledgeable but you still know better what you wish to see in those awkward corners.

We wish the installers this time were more careful with the floors, so do protect your floors before the installation date and dont count too much on the installers’ protection especially if your floors are new, it’s not the same thick layer the builders would use.

We had to invoke the 10 year warranty pretty much immediately after installation as noted some factory defects on the back side of the glossy white doors. It took about two months to sort out and replace the doors, but we weren't fussed about the wait as being kept updated.

It feels like the aftersales are stretched, perhaps, but helpful, polite and lovely. We do like the designs and quality of craftsmanship a lot and wouldn't hesitate to return again. The wardrobes aren't cheap, but will last you long and you do have some financing options too which is quite handy.

Really wish I read the reviews. Had our wardrobes installed in October, countless issues since. Sliderobes was only helpful when we hadn’t made the final payment.

Most issues we just let go (we’ve had wonky drawers since October), and we’ve learnt how to be very sensitive with the doors (how are these installed in children’s rooms?!) but it’s all quite ridiculous considering you’re paying close to £10k for a wardrobe.

Our last issue we couldn’t even speak to anyone. And we couldn’t access 1/4 of our clothes! We have the same issue now a few months later so I’m posting this as 1. another line of communication 2. as a warning to others considering using this company

We have had mirror sliding doors fit today from Sliderobes. We are delighted with them. Lovely finish and high class workmanship. The joiner arrived on time, never stopped working. Very pleased with the result. Would highly recommend.

The robes were fitted ahead of target. The install team of Stuart and Ryan were v quick and efficient. A pleasure to have about our home.

Fitter arrived on time to install our wardrobes but failed to tell us that 3 doors are missing.When asked about the doors he said that they hadn't been made, OK bit of a cock up no problem, but unfortnatly no body from the Maidstone branch has contacted us which was some 3 weeks ago,even after leaving messages.

Absolutely love how much space this Slidedrobes fitted wardrobe has given us.
The designer (Kevin) who came to measure up and advise us was fantastic, very knowledgeable and full of ideas including how best to move and incorporate the light switch.
He answered all our questions that came up in the following week or two, can’t speak highly enough of him.
The guy who came to fit the wardrobe very polite and tidy and the finished product is more than we had hoped.

Excellent experience from start to finish.

We visited the Belfast store and met with Rebecca who put together a design for us. Not knowing really what we wanted or needed when we started, Rebecca guided us through the design process, giving us options we didn't think were possible (like round the corner rails!) and suggested practical changes to help the design work for our space. We are incredibly happy with how the design turned out and Rebecca made the process much easier than we thought it would be! We love how our dressing room has now been fitted out.
The fitter, Gavin who installed our sliderobes was professional, tidy and fitted everything exactly how we imagined it. I was very surprised at how little dust was left despite all the cutting and sawing I could hear!
Really happy with the customer service calls before and after fitting too.
We would 100% use sliderobes again!

I don't know how a company can go from being so good to so bad. We have had wardrobes fitted 3 times in the last 20 years. All by Sliderobes. The first wardrobe is still going strong, never had a problem with it. The second one, the mirror became loose and they fixed it straight away within the warranty. A nice scottish lady in Maidstone was great and very efficient and helpful it was fixed immediately.
The third wardrobe, the most recent has got a drawer front which keeps falling off. I thought no problem as it's under warranty. Sadly it seems the nice Scottish lady has gone and everything has moved to Belfast. Despite being reassured everytime I call that it's being dealt with and they will call me to arrange to fix it... noone ever calls to book the appointment. There is something very wrong with the way the aftersales are now being dealt with and I would suggest that the warranty isn't worth the paper it's written on. I shouldn't have a shoddy drawer front. It's not good enough and it feels like they just can't be bothered to help me. This has been going on since May and it's now July.

I too have left this review a while to try and resolve an issue I have with Sliderobes.

Firstly an inexperienced fitter arrives hours late, damaging the fittings and the walls in our house. I honestly can't imagine why this isn't a team effort.

Following a tedious few weeks without a bedroom which is full of partial fittings as many were damaged in transit the final job does not look like a luxurious space which I will have to recaulk myself.

I wish there were a way of posting photographic evidence of the damage.

This company has really disappointed me. This isn't a necessity, we have paid ££££'s for what we deem should be a luxury addition.

I honestly wish we could have it all removed, receive a refund and take a trip to Ikea instead.

If only it was possible to give zero stars!

I regret to share my extremely disappointing and ONGOING experience with Sliderobes, a company that claims to provide bespoke furniture but fails miserably in both product quality and customer service.

In March 2024, I contracted Sliderobes to install wardrobes in my bedroom and bookshelves in my dining room. What followed was a series of delays, incorrect installations, and unfulfilled promises.

The issues included:

1. Significant Delays: The installations, initially scheduled for April, were pushed back for ridiculous reasons.

2. Incorrect Specifications: The wardrobes and bookshelves delivered were not as per the agreed specifications. The wardrobes came in the wrong color, and the bookshelves were of substandard quality, akin to cheap flat-pack furniture, far from the bespoke solutions promised.

3. Unprofessional Conduct: Our point of contact was unresponsive and dismissive post-sale. His lack of professionalism and accountability to find a solution when things went wrong have greatly added to our frustration.

4. Non-Resolution and Evasion: Despite numerous calls and emails, Sliderobes has done nothing to rectify the situation. We were constantly given the run-around with false assurances and empty promises. We have been left with partially installed units for months.

After enduring months of stress and inconvenience, I have now decided to cancel the contracts. However, Sliderobes has ignored my requests for the uninstallation of the incomplete units. I have now been forced to hire an external carpenter at my own expense to remove the substandard installations.

This company has not only disrupted our lives but has shown a complete lack of respect for their customers. I urge anyone considering their services to stay away. Save yourself the stress, disappointment, and financial loss.

Sliderobes, you have failed spectacularly in every aspect of service delivery. Your disregard for customer satisfaction and the customer is appalling, and I hope others heed this warning.

We had wardrobe doors fitted in February, I have left it as long as possible to make sure my review is fair.

Whilst the doors themselves are nice they aren't fitted correctly. On my appointment Alex advised we would need to fit the doors a certain way, this meant they wouldn't be flush with the frame, but I was happy as long as the doors shut properly and the clothes fit.

The fitter on the day flagged this and said he can fit the doors flush and they will close, the clothes will fit. I thought this was fantastic and said please go ahead, as long as he is SURE the clothes will fit.

The clothes don't fit, they poke out. You have to shove them in at the corners to get the wardrobes to shut.

Sliderobes have offered no resolution and have now stopped replying to my emails. They have blamed me for the poor fit.

Honestly I'm so upset, having spent ££££ on doors that don't fit. I have never had a company just ignore me and make me out to be a liar. It's the worst customer service I have ever received.

If you do use them I advise recording all conversations / getting absolutely everything in writing as they really cannot be trusted.

Great company, came up with a fantastic design for our Media Wall and implemented it within the timescale. I would highly recommend Alex and his fantastic staff.
I was so impressed i am now going to get them to fit out our bedrooms. Thanks guy's keep up the great work

Product good but very poor after sales service. In fact despite promises they have never been to sort out the door closings. Would not use again.
