Snowboard Boots at MK
Went in to the EB/Snowboard Asylum store in MK try on some snowboarding boots for my first pair. I'd decided I wanted either step-ons or supermatic bindings so wanted to see if the step on compatible boots fit me or not (because I'm aware you shouldn't just buy any ol' pair of boots).
Cara came over to assist and spent the next hour or so getting me to try different boots and different sizes to find a match. She was incredibly knowledgeable and immediately knew what I should be looking for within minutes of looking at my feet!
When we started discussing bindings, just like with the boots, she was very open and honest about the products but allowed me to try them and come to my own conclusions. At no point did I feel pressured into making a purchase and she definitely wasn't trying to spur me onto the most expensive items... I hadn't intended to buy that day but I had such a good experience, I wanted to. I ended up going with a pair of thirtytwo boots and had them heat moulded there and then and she explained that I could go back at any time to have adjustments made.
THEN: Unfortunately, after removing the liners after the first use, I noted the stitching was coming undone.
I emailed thirtytwo who advised me to contact the store and a lady called Lucy responded to my email asking me to call her. I spoke to her on the phone and she was very apologetic. She got a pair of brand new liners from another pair of boots and put them aside for me, ready for when I'm next able to collect.
Nothing is too much trouble for the staff here.
Cannot even acknowledge a refund… APPALLING SERVICE!!!

Received an email the following day making all kinds of excuses and lies about trying to ring me after I left a message. This company is an utter waste of time. I’ll be source Jones products elsewhere in the future. Take my advice and avoid TSA like the plague!!!!
Never received my delivery after 2.5 weeks of wait time
I ordered snowboard bindings. They didn't manage to deliver them from UK to my house in Germany. Probably the post DPD International is to be blamed, but I think the Snowboard Asylum is also responsible for choosing a post company uncabale of managing their deliveries.
Perfect service and on time
Bought a new snowboard, Battalion Evil Twin.

They dont use yodel or evri so the parcel arrived on time and delivered perfectly. they used UPS.
Dont buy goods from companies that use yodel or evri to deliver.
Exceptional customer service from a staff member in store
Me and my misses went into TSA this afternoon and got chatting to one of their staff members called Callum. First of all Callum asked me and my misses if we needed any help, we were originally just having a browse but we ended up asking for his advice. Callum gave us very comprehensive advice and covered all bases that he felt were relevant to our needs. He focuses very well on both me and my misses simultaneously, we could tell he was very passionate about the sport and about helping beginners like ourselves get into the sport.
Overall Callum’s knowledge was unparalleled and he made the whole experience very enjoyable. We will 100% be coming back to purchase our new snowboards from TSA because of Callum.
He also offered to help us set up our new boards and even let us test ride their models before we buy at the snow zone next door.
Thank you Callum, we will be back to see you soon.
Don't order from this Company if you…
Don't order from this Company if you are outside UK! I order a Jacket and returned it back because of the size, they do not do free returns if you are outside EU and they refund less amount of what i paid. I paid 171 GBP plus the delivery and they refund 140GBP with no explanation!
Avoid this company
Avoid this company, they will send you 300 pounds snowboard boots with no signature parcel to save 90p.
Parcel lost, left outside by royal mail without assigned safe place. problem to contact them email doesn't work and max claim for parcel no signature 150. Avoid !!!!
Twice Sent the Wrong Item, No Response for Support
I ordered a New Balance top from TSA, and while delivery was quick, the item arrived in the wrong colour. Mistakes happen, but it was a bit frustrating. I spoke with a representative who advised placing a second order while still on the call, and to provide the new order number so they could notify dispatch to send the correct colour due to a labelling error. I was also asked to return the first (incorrect) green top.
Unfortunately, when the second parcel arrived, it was again the same incorrect colour leaving me with two tops, neither of which matched my original order. I tried calling several times over a few days, left a voicemail, and sent an email that bounced back. I’ve received no response or effort from TSA to resolve the issue, so I’ve had to escalate the matter with my credit card provider.
Very poor experience. I would not recommend using this company.
Don't trust their website stock!
Don't trust their website stock! Ordered some bindings, and I wondered where they were 5 days later when they were supposed to be next day delivery. Turns out that they were out of stock and it took me contacting them to find out. They apologised, and offered a 10% discount on another order, which felt a bit of an insulting compensation to me.
Stupid and sneaky
OMG what an experience. So because of the reviews I phoned to check stock. They said they had the item 'yes we have two in stock'. Instead I received an incorrect item. So too stupid even when phoned to understand if they had the item or not.
Then I had to take photos etc, make my way to post office, print label. Then they refunded me £49.99 BUT, they 'forgot' to refund the postage of £3.99 so again I had to phone even to get that back. Fargin sneaky bastidges
Don't go anywhere near them, they absolutely love wasting your time, they sprinkle on themselves just at the thought of wasting your time.
Great prices, fast shipping, accurate stock levels
My experience was extremely positive with Snowboard Asylum. There were one of the few retailers who had stock in the Nidecker Supermatics. Their support team were responsive to my questions. Happy customer!
Snowboard Servicing At TSA Castleford
Needed full service for my snowboard at Castleford TSA. Colin the lead manager of servicing is so well-skilled at seeing what needs doing - he carefully examined my beaten-up board, clearly talked me through everything that was needed beforehand. Took my board into his workshop. When he brought it back, edges were all perfect nail-filing 88º, P-TEX repairs were blended into the restructuring of the base perfectly - most importantly he was very careful to take very little off the base when running it through the base-grinder. The waxing and polishing he did has made my board absolutely fly. Then he took time to fix a stubborn heel-lift issue in my left boot. Cannot recommend this guy enough. Very happy.
What is up with the website
What is up with the website? The filters just dont work. It's been like this for ages. Lots of good stock and the people in the shop are always spot on. But the website....??
Advertises and let's you buy items they don't have
Placed an order for a "Burton [ak] GORE-TEX Cyclic Jacket" in the sale. x4 colours available. I ordered a Black, told out of stock and offered a discount. I then ordered the Grey, same thing. Then the Mint. I basically ordered every colour listed as in stock and being advertised. Each time to be told was not in stock, given an apology, discount code and told the site would be updated. But it still lists items as being in stock. And I was able to re-order the items they told me where out of stock. Their site states they have an item in stock at one store, after you purchase it, it still lists as being in stock and available and allows another order to be placed. They need a better stock management system and one that real-time updates the web ordering system when a purchase is completed.
Sent the wrong snowboard
Sent the wrong snowboard, no one answers the phone, 10 min + waiting times to talk to someone. Then they dont trust you that they send the wrong product and ask you to email the photos etc... frustration that you have to go to even more effort when they cant be bothered to go to the effort of listing the right products. They didn't even stock the snowboard I ordered, just used the photos and discription.
Snowboard boot repair.
I was having problems with my snowboard boots -- after two years they were really hurting my feet. I brought them in to TSA, who pointed out that a cable had broken. Rather than try to sell me another pair, they fixed the broken cable, and then heat molded them for me. All for free! And it worked -- last time I snowboarded my feet were happy as clams. Highly recommended!!!

I had a delivery go missing which he managed to track down straight away for me, when the delivery arrived it was all too small for me and I needed it to go away a few days later. He organised getting me the correct sizes for me so I would have them before going away!

Avoid at any cost
Ordered twice and both times they cancelled the order because they didn’t have the stock? Then I had to chase up a refund which took weeks. Worst place I’ve ever ordered from.

Tamworth store was brilliant with myself and my son. Even exchanged the a snowboard for something more suitable.
All in all must have spent 3 hours with the two visits including boot fitting and setting the board up.
Honestly I could not be happier!
Excellent service. And when it comes to myself, hopefully I'll be easier lol!
