Simply robell

Ordered trousers online, monies left my account. Later I had a message saying they didn’t have the colour ordered and a refund will be issued. (refunds take up to 7 days)
Obviously don’t have a live stock system.
I ordered a different pair, monies left my account. Later I got a message this time they don’t have the trousers in stock! They offered to order a pair directly from Germany which would take 14 working days, I agreed to wait. 12 days in I rang for an update, NO they are not available in my size and colour?? They offered an alternative by which time my patience had worn thin and I asked for a refund.(refunds take up to 7 days)
I have lost confidence in ordering from this Company. A waste of my time, they gave me the impression they have no real idea what stock they actually carry.

The 3 stars is not for the trousers as…

The 3 stars is not for the trousers as they are nice trousers and the choice is amazing. The 3 stars is for the experience I had today when ordering a pair of trousers by phone.
The girl who answered the phone was very curt and seemed she couldn’t be bothered. When I gave her my card details she said the card was invalid when in fact it wasn’t it was that she had written the number down wrongly. It was all done at break-neck speed and something I would definitely NOT do again.
Can I just add that the trousers arrived yesterday and they are the wrong ones - I’m guessing the same girl not only got my card details wrong but also the actual trousers I wanted. Livid.

Avoid Bella

I have been buying Robell trousers for more than 10 years and kept going back for more. In recent years I have bought Bella because they have pockets and come in a shorter length and are ideal for golf. I have noticed that they have lost their elasticity on the thighs and have gone baggy there, the topshave not. When I took 4 pairs of Bella back to the outlet at Tarrant Hinton I was told that this was fair wear and tear, even though 1 pair was less than a year old. Other models of Robell trousers that I have had for much longer have shown no such problem. They told me they have never had a complaint about them before.

Very Poor Customer Service

I paid just under £90 for a pair of Bella trousers which shrunk by 3” after the first couple of washes. The second identical pair did not shrink at all. So I rang So Simply customer service. I have sent many photos and had a long correspondence with them but they refuse to change them or reimburse me. The tone of their communication made me feel like a liar when I have a genuine complaint. I will not buy through them again. The trousers will have to be binned and I will have to accept the loss - disgusted.

Love the product not the service

Love the product, which is German, but the the British service lets Robell down badly. After buying a pair of their jeans and hardly wearing them, a split appeared on the seam of the pocket (have others in same size). I contacted SoSimply and they were completely dismissive. They obviously don’t value loyal customers. I hope the German company that supplies them reads these comments.

Disappointed with product and service

This review is for Robell Bella 09 jeans (£89.99) and also the after service from my online purchase. I bought the jeans online as my usual Robell retail supplier did not have the size I needed.
I previously bought size 16 but they were too big so size 14 was bought from So Simply. On arrival I tried them on & they fitted. However, just a week later at the 3rd wear the Jeans had stretched and were consistently sliding down needing to be pulled up. I contacted So Simply with photographs of the stretched jeans and they said the style was wrong for me, I should have a slimmer fitting trouser and they are happy with the performance of the denim. In my opinion jeans should not have to be washed after 3rd wear to return to the original shape!
So Simply completely dismissed my opinion and refused to even consider examining the jeans for wearability and performance.
A prime example of online suppliers not appreciating the customer.
Don’t buy from this Website as they won’t provide the afterservice needed if things go wrong.

What a wonderful shopping experience

What a wonderful shopping experience! I had a choice of every style of clothes in every colour. I was looked after so well with my own personal shopper. My husband and our dog were made very welcome too with my husband enjoying a coffee and our cockapoo lots of fuss. I just love the clothes I bought and can’t wait to visit there again. An enormous thank you to all the lovely ladies there,

Make sure you size up for cotton twill Bella!

I bought my 8th pair of Robell trousers - I always buy the Bella 09 ankle grazers and this time I got navy cotton twill. The fit is very different to the normal Bellas. They are much tighter, but because I had packed them for a trip I had no option and had to wear them. They are ok when standing up but not comfy when sitting down!
Because I’ve bought so many of this style before I didn’t read the description and to be fair it does say to size up but I think it should be made much more explicit because regular customers don’t necessarily read the description.

Poor wear on Marie crops

I purchased a pair of Navy Marie crop trousers at the end of last Summer. Have probably only had at max 6 months wear, 3 times a week for tennis and not used in Winter and the elastacine is showing through on the front. Having contacted Robell they said that this was probably due to tumble drying and high temperature wash. I don’t use a tumble dryer and wash at 30. As they are just over 12 months they won’t consider a replacement. I think this is very unfair and don’t consider these fit for purpose. When I ordered them initially, it took weeks for them to be delivered. Sorry, but not impressed

After months of delay

After months of delay, SimplyRobell eventually sent trousers by UPS. However SimplyRobell made an error on shipment documents so I received an invoice from UPS for taxes in excess of the price of the trousers.

UPS need corrected documents from SimplyRobell before they will correct the situation. SimplyRobell has not supplied them and is no longer responding to my emails or the request from UPS. Meanwhile I’m getting penalty notices from UPS.

I will never buy from SimplyRobell again. Nice clothes but really bad customer service.

Fantastic company

Fantastic company . Robell trousers are just the best you can buy . They fit beautifully and come in a huge range of styles and fittings . As well as the great product their delivery service is super fast and efficient . Also impressed with Customer Service when I wanted to change a size I had ordered
