Tienen anuncios de propiedades en alquiler con son scam, no hay manera de contactar con la empresa para informarles, el email de contacto no existe y el formulario de contacto no funciona.
Sin embargo los anuncios falsos si que te dirigen a la plataforma de pago con tarjeta.
Soy el propietario de una propiedad que aparece sin mi autorización y que veo que se puede reservar fechas que ya están resrvadas. Es un scam.
No uséis esta pagina para reservar un alquiler vacacional os quedareis sin casa y sin dinero

My son booked to stay at the Acta voroport Hotel in Barcelona a Tuesday to Friday short break his flight was cancelled by easyjet so he couldn't mate the trip because no other flight available he phoned the hotel what a waste of time they didn't care no chance of a full or even part refund or possible moving the booking they didn't care very bad service once they've got your money they are not bothered

Not a trustworthy broker. The house we rented was substandard, but also had no running water for three days of seven and a couple of power cuts… PLUS, two of the trip switches burned out in the fuse board, melted! It could have been a tragedy. Spain holiday brokered an offer of 30% off one night out of seven… worked out at €100. Or we could leave and get a refund for the remaining nights… there were 15 of us including nine kids. No help was offered to find alternative accommodation. They were truly useless to us.
Hint: use the chargeback function of your credit card.

Spain holiday destinations for me are a thing of the past.
Most places are all 60's to 70's hotels and purpose built units.
The money they have taken over the years has clearly not gone back anywhere in a decent reinvestment.
Unfriendly hotel staff, Poor quality rooms, tacky shopping and greasy food.
With everywhere else on offer these days Spain seems to have fell to the bottom of the list.

We had a great time in our apartment with the perfect view for my daughter. Just had some issues with payment but it was great overall

Scam beware!!! If you look at people who leave positive reviews , they also leave positive reviews on other scam websites….

Am so glad I read these reviews. I was ready to book aswell. But checking the reviews of a company is always something everyone should do. Well they are not getting my hard earned cash.

This company is just a big scam! They steal your money! The house we rented with our kids were so moist! We told them as soon as we got i the house, by email, that we couldnt accept it.

We couldn’t sleep at all. The next morning the kids had headaches, we were swollen, and I had a very bad cough

We have contacted them so many times. Trying to find a solution. They send a man out. He had a dehumidifier with him. But he also said that it wouldn’t be enough and left. We had all the Windows and doors open an nothing helped.

Lisa casteele from Spain-holiday first answer was, that it’s normal because the house is near the harbor.

Secondly, after admitting that the house smelled bad, she suggested that we should just have the windowds open, in order to "reduce" the moist and mold.

NOW today, she claims that there is NO SMELL at all.

All this off course documented by emails and pictures.

We left the house & rented another ( Spain Holiday did not want to come up with an alternative ).

We told Lisa Casteele AND their "customerservice" that we wanted it solved amicably.

But this company is a scam - check their trustscores online ( i didnt, foolish enough)...

Stay away from this company! They steal your money with a smile and gives flips you afterwards.

Here you see the house with your own eyes ( photos mainly from the bedrooms ).

We are going to report these scammers to the local authorities, tourismboard etc., and we will have our lawyer follow this up, as urgently as possible. he will have a field day.

And for anyone interested, please hold your breath for updates!!! 😂😂👍🏻

Update 8th july : we sent you all documentation & your response is “there was no smell” even with written confirmation from your own agent.

I have never used the company before and had reservations about the quality of the website. Made a reservation, no contact from the owner, the companys landline is not working and then I read these reviews. Thanks but no thanks.

The recent reviews here say it all. They go from 5 stars to 1 star overnight in mid 2021 co-inciding with the takeover of Spain Holiday by Bookiply. Spain Holiday, as was, was a fantastic company to deal with. We were with them for 18 years. Professional, helpful and instantly reactive, their service was beyond reproach. Now, they have sold out to these German interlopers whose only concern is to elbow thenselves into the process and charge avhwfty percentage for the priveledge. And all this without reference to the Spain Holuday hosts before the dirty deed was done. The legality of it must be questionable.

If I had wanted to advertise on another platform such as Airbnb, I could and would have done so. With only one house to rent out, why do I need a third party to intervene and charge through the nose to do so. They say they will interface with the guests initially, but they know nothing about your property or the area. Also the inability to choose or correspond with prospective guests because of their insistance on instant booking serves only their purposes. Unless you really don't care who is renting your house, it is just unacceptable.

All in all, a great, great shame. I fear for the long term viabilty of this new arrangement and for the ex-Spain Holiday staff and owners caught up in it

Used to be a great product, good people and service. Sadly I guess they went for the cash in the end. My advert ends soon and I am off. Others at least have a great opportunity to fill the gap they have left.

I did not sign over to bookiply. Since I paid for 2 full years of subscription for both my properties I would have expected some level of service now that they have been taken over but they can't get it together. I was told all my problems are because I didn't sign up to bookiply . It can take a week or more for them to answer an email. The calanders are supposed to synch with Bookiply/holidu, I've been told, every 24/48 hours, well 3 weeks later and calanders are still not synched properly. Not that I am getting any where near the enquiries I used to, they have fallen off a cliff but if the calander is showing booked for dates that are not I guess I'm not going to get any enquiries. Shame on spain-holiday, completely ruined now, after 20 years I'm out. Don't bother signing up with them, or holidu/bookiply as it is now known, you can't even write your own description of your own home!

I used to advertise a few properties successfully on SH website with great flexibility, photos, flexible pricing etc. getting many bookings but this has entirely ended a few months before Bookiply took SH over. I never ever had a single inquiry or booking anymore.

This app is great if you are uncertain of what you want and know exactly when you want to go but is useless if you want to check up on a property whose ref numberyou aleady know. Why on earth do you type in a ref for Spain and get properties from all continents.?
Holiday Lettings used to be great for its simplicity but is also falling into that trap.
In its favour, the descriptions seem to be reliable but is it really necessary to put dates in when you are flexible in when you want to go. We are in the fortunate position of finding an owner who will be flexible enough to book start and finish dates that target the cheapest flight fares. If you are retired and take advantage of cheap air fares, use HolidayLettings. We actually found our preferred property through the relationship built up with the owner through Holiday Lettings

What a complete debarcle. Having paid up front for 12 month advert after 3 months my advert is non existent.
No forewarning of Spain-holiday closing business to loyal customers. Is this legal to take your money and run? Shame on you. The alternative offered is not acceptable which is to advertise with Bookiply and charge my guests an extra 35% and loose personal contact until all monies have been paid. That's Owners Direct and Spain-holidays GONE Surely someone else can follow suit and supply an honest , fee free , platform for owners to advertise.

I totally agree with the reviews saying that Spain-Holiday - which USED to be one of, if not the best, rental sites on which owners could advertise their rental property - has now totally destroyed itself by joining up with Bookiply. They now insist on instant booking and the property owner has no communication with potential guests until after they have booked. For this the owner pays commission and so does the guest. How does this benefit the owner or the guest. They do not respond in a timely way to owners queries. They are amateurs. Do not advertise your property on Bookiply or Spain Holiday and keep them well away from other platforms that you may use such as VRBO or Airbnb. Use Simply Owners instead.

I completely agree with the last 5 one star reviews - Spain-holiday.com is dead and gone! I have advertised my house on Spain-holiday.com for more than 5 years and now they really try to rip me off with a setup where the total costs for the landlord and the guests are exceeding 30-35%. And they are trying to hide the cost structure - it took me at least 10 e-mails to get the full overview and they tried to push me in to migration with a discount of EUR 90 - what a joke, it would have cost me more than EUR 2.000, if I had accepted to migrate and my guests would have to pay at least 15-25% more to rent my house. It is a big scam and it certainly looks like a cartel! I have moved to the SimplyOwners website and I am pleased with the decision!

There is a lot of false information on their website.
Spain-Holiday is gone, do not advertise with Spain-Holiday now through Holidu and Bookiply. My adverts which I have paid more than Euro 1000 each for a year are not even showing at all, and they do not offer any refund ! They say it wouldn't be happening if I had signed up to the new model through Bookiply. Very disappointing after all these years and very sad to see Bookiply spoiling a good company...
