Right from finding the right layout to negotiating on the price, service, presale valet, presale repair of any niggles and full 1 hour handover and instructional tour. These guys were great. Just picked up my used caravan, fiddled with everything and it all just works perfectly!! What a class company employing, happy, knowledgeable staff. Big shout out to Gary for the 1 hour instructional tour and the service team for jumping all over the few niggles I had. Perfect guys, thank you!!

After paying a deposit for a £34k…
After paying a deposit for a £34k coachman excel 855.
I was told it would be two weeks before I could take it home, as full checks and service would be provided, a full deep clean of carpets, repairs to badly scratches sink and repairs on the air conditioning unit.
Two weeks later after full payment made, the carpets had not been moved, the sink remains the same and the air conditioning unit was still not working even though I called them 4 times to make sure it was being replaced…
I drove 175 miles only to find the same problems and was told take it or leave it!
I took it and am now dealing with the aircon Truma Buisnes direct…
I will
Not use Spinney again, they are arrogant, don’t answer the phone, and make customers feel stupid… (why would I do that again?) I won’t use them again.

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear that you remain dissatisfied with your experience.
We would, however, like to clarify a few points regarding the issues raised. Prior to collection, you requested that a number of items be addressed. Regarding the stainless-steel sink, our sales representative advised that the scratches were cosmetic and that there was unfortunately nothing we could do to repair them. We apologise if there was any misunderstanding regarding this.
The air conditioning unit was also highlighted and was included on the workshop job card as part of the vehicle's pre-delivery inspection. Following inspection, the workshop reported that the unit was operating correctly. When you later advised that you were still experiencing issues, we immediately contacted Truma directly and arranged for an engineer to attend under the manufacturer's warranty. We subsequently followed up with you to ensure that Truma had been in contact, which they had.
In addition, we spoke with you on several occasions following collection to assist with operational queries and user-related issues, taking the time to talk through these and provide guidance where needed.
At the point of collection, we discussed the air conditioning concern with you and offered the option of not proceeding with the purchase until the matter was resolved, or alternatively arranging for Truma to attend under warranty. You chose to proceed with the purchase and have Truma investigate the issue.
We also provided the service schedule upon request at collection.
We fully appreciate that you were frustrated on the day of collection, and we are sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations. However, following our conversations after collection, we were under the impression that the concerns had been addressed and that the arrangements made with Truma were acceptable.
Customer satisfaction is extremely important to us, and while we regret that you have been left with a negative impression, we believe we have acted promptly and appropriately in supporting you and arranging a manufacturer-backed resolution for the air conditioning issue.
If you have any further concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us.

On closer inspection there was lots of black dog hair everywhere including inside the fridge. Not nice and quite disappointing as our last van from Spinney was immaculate.

Initially the salesman was excellent…
Initially the salesman was excellent but didn't get the details correct on the sale's document including wrong name, exchange caravan and incorrectly listed the part exchange price for our van we were trading in. He did not forward our requests for jobs to be done ( on a brand new van) and also arranged for our collection on a day he knew he didn't work so we missed out on the continuity of checking all our requests were dealt with correctly. Overall we felt that Spinney fell short of the professionalism in comparison to White Arches who we had dealt with in the past. The best part of the handover was David who was excellent and most informative. He also tried to clear up some of the missing work, e.g missing gas bottle and motor mover handle from our old van which he found and got put into our new van . He hadn't been told about the creaking floor or the door bin not being aligned properly. He did point out that the shower door had sealant all over it at the top of the door and he cleaned this for us and wiped over other surfaces that was not cleaned, with no hassle whatsoever. If it hadn't been for this level of service on collection by David then our score could well have been 2 star's. Were not convinced the PDI was thoroughly done as we also found that we have a curved unit with a door that doesn't close properly and protective strips not fully removed in places.

We are disappointed to hear that several errors were made on the sales documentation, including the incorrect customer details, part exchange information, and that the requests you raised were not communicated effectively. We also understand your frustration regarding the collection arrangements and the lack of continuity during the handover process.
Please be assured that we have discussed your feedback directly with the Sales Executive involved to ensure these concerns are fully understood and to help prevent similar issues occurring in the future.
We are particularly sorry that a number of items requiring attention were not identified or addressed before collection, including the creaking floor, door alignment issues, incomplete removal of protective strips, and concerns regarding the quality of the PDI preparation. These matters fall below the standards we aim to deliver.
That said, we are pleased to hear that David was able to make a positive difference to your handover experience. We will ensure your comments are shared with him and his manager, as his willingness to resolve outstanding issues and provide informative, professional support reflects the level of service we strive to provide.

Disappointed By lack of dealer commitment
Arranged to view a used Burstner motorhome only to find that the internal features were not available due to flat battery . so arranged for a test drive the following day only to find that the main features were not available again !
Not impressed at all as the salesman said all would be fixed ready for handover after a non returnable deposit of £2k was paid.. This was a big disappointment as we were willing to buy the vehicle but not without the main features available to be demonstrated. Not prepared to commit a large sum of money on something that may be fixed.

No problems
Previously had 2 caravans from Broadlane and wondered if the previous good experiences would carry over now that it is become Spinney. Many of the previous staff at Leak Wootton remain and I need not have been concerned, still the same good experience now that I have moved onwards to a motorhome. Was well looked after by Alan, Allan and Jane, all expections fulfilled and would recommend to anyone.

Forget the rest Spinney is the best
During our search for a new van Spinney was the 4th and last centre we visited. Our experience with Spinney was poles apart from our experience at other centres, from the initial phone enquiry through to collection the treatment by all the team was consistent and reliable, no chasing staff and unreturned calls here.
Handover day went to plan on time with a fantastic handover by Neil, no questions were unanswered, a brilliant demonstration of the van. Then on to the final paperwork with Mark, no last minute surprises everything agreed was delivered simple and straightforward as was the delivery to site by Ian who made sure we were happy and asked if he could help with anything before leaving. All the people at Spinney we had contact with were fantastic, on the phone, in the shop, it doesn’t matter they always see if there’s anything they can help you with, Fantastic! We have been recommending Spinney to everyone who we know, a truly refreshing company to deal with.
