Sportingbet Avis 

I am a customer at sportingbet for a long time and i can assure you the customer service might be the WORST out there. I asked them for 2 different matters in 2 different occasions and on both chats after the employee copy pasted the automated respond they just went and closed the chat down without even answering my questions....

If I could give the site 0 stars I would, they first froze my account and refused to let me access it after I withdrew funds. They then would not respond to any of my emails and after two weeks told me that they would not be giving me the money based on them thinking the account was fraud. This was clearly not the case as I had given them 5 forms of ID proving it was me. ABSOLUTE SCAMMERS

I only got to make a handful of low value bets (a few pounds each) before Sportingbet restricted my account.

I understand why bookies might do this sometimes but can't see any reason why on earth they would do so in my case.

The email from them telling me this was extremely rude and unfriendly.

Seems like a really horrible company that couldn't care less about its customers.

Opened an account, deposited €20, sent verification docs and then account got locked instantly and it’s now been a week without contact. Contacted Customer service 3 times to get ‘we will respond when the appropriate department have responded’. Scam of a company, why bother with so many quality operators out there.

After reading all reviews I thought it would be only fair to write one myself.
Deposited on Saturday placed football Acca which won late Sat evening. Made withdrawal money in my account today Tuesday can’t get any better than that. If you have a complaint with the site you should ask yourself if you have done anything wrong first?

I deposited the money from my bank account to my Sportingbet account.when I'm suppost to bet it says insufficient funds and the money that I've transferred does not reflect on my betting account.What a shame cos they keep on hanging up the phone.

Won £1080 in sports took 2 days to get funds in my account, if you win on Friday, would be Tuesday /Wednesday before in your bank, website great 👍🏻

Avoid. Locked my account and withheld funds for over a year. No explanation given.

Ashley from SportingBet... I went to place a bet on the US open, saw that there was an offer and it was bet £50 inplay on the tennis and get £10 free. I accidently placed one of my bets on the ATP challenger after their link to send me to the US open matches, sent me to all of the tennis. So out of 5 tennis matched, 4 were on the open and one wasn't. Ashley was the person I was speaking to on live chat, she was reluctant and not forgiving about my situation. It was clearly visible that I was doing the offer and that it was a mistake, but no free bets were given today. Non forgiving company, awful customer service

I deposited money and after I read the reviews I decided not to play and risk it.
but wait...you can't withdraw... they are claiming and I quote:"we strongly encourage our guests to make deposits solely with the intention of playing and not withdrawing soon after. We have therefore proceeded to cancel your withdrawal request and put the funds back into your account."
whatttt???? I didn't even play, I didn't touch the bonus they gave, but I can't get my own money back?? and they encourage you not to take money out?

when they see that you bet has a good percentage to win, they block the cashout from the moment the second or third event begins and does not unblock until they are lost or almost lost (or the bet is over and you win). I have many tests with lots of photos. last game of ten lost to a goal and after the second game never seen the cashout available. Everything is fine but when it comes to a 85 milla pound bet, you get nervous

A disaster of a company I closed my account in credit there wasn't much in it but they wouldnt return it. If you are thinking of opening an account forget it go somewhere else this company is the worst out there

Scammers, gave me a “welcoming bonus” but because the bonus didn’t meet some condition that I had no idea about (I was supposed to bet additional 200$) it not only waived the bonus but also the winnings from my money I bet!!! The support told me that they are legally entitled to do which doesn’t make it any less of a scam. Stay away from these crooks I was their customer for well over a decade, will never sports bet again.

To be honest i would give zero stars if i could! Opened an account and deposited £20 via paypal. Then i was informed my account is blocked and i have no idea why, and when i went on live chat the staff had no idea either. So i ask for my deposit to be refunded no sir we cant do that as we need to email another dept. Avoid at all costs,

Update

After providing a government ID card amongst other items my account was opened, strangely when i opened the account i was fully verified then a few moments later i was blocked very strange. Anyway after contacting paypal to resolve the dispute threatening Sportingbet with the police after they accused me of fraud they did open the account. All this trouble to place 1 £10 e/w bet!! Account closed and i will avoid all their sister sites

After contacting these people they now claim that they at no point used the word FRAUDULENT, i have screen shots of the chats and emails where they do in fact use the word FRAUDULENT. Do not use this site avoid like the plague

I signed up for sporting bet because on the review site,ask gamblers it was voted no 1 casino deposited £10 was,supposed to get 50 free spins when i started playijg slots i found it hard to believe this was voted no1 they were less than average but within 20 mins,i was up to £60 so i wasnt complaining i then lost the £60 but that was ok still had 50 free spins when i tried to play it said i had self excluded myself.error i thought so went to contact live support but there was none.erm no1 casino no live chat.!!! I emailed and was told i had previously self excluded from a sister site party poker.i dont recall that but if they say so. I asked for my £10 deposit back that was declined. I then logged into ask gamblers to write a bad review. My review was taken down!! Am i not allowed to voice my opinion bit strange. I then logged into ladbrookes which i am a long standing customer couldnt access that site either.live chat informed me that they are also part of the same company which i am not allowed to gamble on.so why has it taken ladbrookes all this time to inform me of this i cannot access sporting bet ask gamblers or ladbrookes now to discuss this matter.i will be taking this further

Closed my account with no warning. When am I getting my money back?

Avoid big time, if they think you might win, they instantly restrict your account, not a very professional company.

I will be contacting my local MP about this, the gambling industry is now getting out of control, it obviously cannot self regulate. The government really needs to step in here.

Generally ok betting with them but they not very efficient paying any free bets or bonuses out so regarding promotions, I would avoid. Chat staff not very friendly or professional so they do not come across very customer focused. Average at best. OK for a back up sports book but other than that there are much better sports book who honor promotions in a timely manner with more courteous staff.
