Disgusting

Disgusting, rude, uninterested customer support , we're both at university doing our paramedic science degree,work for the ambulance service,haven't stoped throughout the pandemic, needless to say we feel let down I'd like to think you'd have our backs but this is not the case you've made my other half's application for student premium so difficult she's cancelled her account and subscription as you seem incapable of reducing the regular account irrespective of how much proof she sends you of a three year stretch at uni ,your less than competent customer support have ignored tweets... sort yourselves out !

Terrible Mobile App

You would think that an app that seems to be entirely dedicated to music would allow you to pick what song you'd like to listen to, if you'd like to listen to a specific song on spotify without paying for a premium membership you'd have to go to the artist's playlist and hope to find it when it randomly shuffles to that song.

It confuses me because you would think that the main audience on Spotify listens through a smartphone, but the best experience is listening through the Web Player or Consoles but you will hear two ads after listening to a few songs, personally I think this is a good trade-off to keep the app free; so why can't they do this with the Mobile version instead of using so many limitations?

Censorship

Been a customer using a family plan for over 3 years, I’ve enjoyed it but now they are being governed by Censorship…won’t be using the platform again. Unless they lift this ridiculous rule!

Will allow someone else to use your card details…

Spotify do not do the relevant checks on people when they are setting up accounts with them.

They do not check that the account name and the card that is used matches up.

Trying to get any response from them is impossible.

They have been reported to the police and fraud agencies.

stay away

stay away. they always manage to charge your credit card £9.99 even if you dont use it. I tried to cancel but wasnt able to do it. I changed my credit card number but to my surprise they reached out to visa and got my new card number and kept charging me every month.
I have paid 12 months for service i did not use more than 1 monht.
They offered 30 quid back..

I've gone ahead and issued a refund for the past 3 months of charges you received. This has also reverted your account to Free. The funds should be with you soon, depending on your bank.

Sorry to say, despite the fact that they do good on there and a well known brand, the only thing I can say about them and the downside is, you cannot download music and listen offline when you apply the trial after so many days for the monthly subscription fee of £9.99 and goes advert free? That in itself is good, but what about the fact that you can listen to music for free, download for free, but cannot listen to it offline for free? Otherwise a good service provider, if only those things were promised which it is not sadly and unfortunately. Would have given it 5 stars if this improves in future. Sorry Spotify, must try harder to satisfy your pay monthly customers. Your advisers insist in saying that this works etc., well sorry, not everyone agrees.
