The order was delivered quickly and well packaged. Looks fantastic in black and silver. Both vinyl and CDs sound great on it. I haven't got any cassette to play on it. Good that you can adjust the bass and treble. An all round great buy at a fabulous price

I bought a customised record box but when I received the order it was not personalised as per my instructions. I emailed and Emily responded with 45 minutes and my replacement was with me the next day.
I am extremely pleased with the quality of the box and personalisation, and the correspondence I had with Emily.

Great service from Kendal and the team following a malfunction of one of the speakers we bought, it was replaced swiftly and without question. The replacement speaker works perfectly and my husband is now reliving his youth playing old records and cassettes on the system

I was bought the steepletone as a gift, so excited to be able to play old and new records & CDs. Unfortunately it has been nothing but disappointment.
Firstly the sound quality of the speakers is shocking- tinny and not really the quality you expect in 2025, my Alexa has better sound quality!
Then there’s the record player, the turntable allows the vinyl to move as its surface isn’t supported well, which makes the track sound as though it’s distorted and slow.
The CD player - it allows some CDs to play but not others. I originally thought it may be because they’re older CDs but they play fine in the car….
I then bought 3 new CDs yesterday, one plays fine, one won’t play at all and the 3rd one jumps throughout the first few tracks! They all play fine in the car…
As I’ve previously mentioned this was a gift, it’s not even a year old, it’s hardly used because it’s just disappointing listening to music in such poor quality!
I’ve been putting up with the record player not being 100% but yesterday was the final straw when I bought new CDs and they didn’t play!
It was returned and i had been refused a refund due to not having original packaging (had box not polyestirene!) so it was ‘repaired’ and returned.
The speakers sounds jump from one to another or not at all. CDs are constantly jumping and the vinyl still sounds shocking when the speakers decide to work.
Definitely not worth the money we spent!!!

Bought a Steepletone shower radio that was faulty. Customer service refused to refund it despite the issue being clear. Very disappointing after-sales support. I wouldn’t buy from them again.

The item was delivered 2 days ahead of initial delivery date, which was pleasing.
Very easy to set up & the acrylic speakers look & sound great. Sound is of good quality, so overall, so far very pleased.

Inconvenient, finicky, looks tacky and huge design flaw with needle changes.
Looks like I need to just go back to a proper stacking hifi system and not this gimmicky all in one.
Even turning it on over the past 3 years I've had it is hit or miss, it's like striking a wet match. Then having to wait wait wait for it to get ready to be able to just change from dab to the LP player, then having to wait wait wait to press home home home to get to the LP function. Why not just one button ? Cheap? Not cheap enough, so a waste of money, but hey, if you want to listen to dab radio on a record player, this is it. Personally I'm going back to the old school simple robust systems now. Goodbye Steepletone, I won't miss you.

A compact music centre, good for rooms with restricted space, and good for being able to play all your physical music formats in one place. I use tape, CD and record player. The remote speakers offer additional flexibility. Sound quality is pretty good for the type of system, and it's relatively straightforward to operate once you get used to it. On the downside, the DAB + doesn't function properly - at least one radio station is not picked up and reception on some others is poor, despite moving the aerial around to try to fix it. Beware though... the company website does not make it clear that in order to use the speakers remotely you have to pay an additional £35 for rechargeable batteries. My unit arrived with a non-functioning tape player, so I had to go through the major inconvenience of sending it back and awaiting a replacement, although customer service was as helpful as possible.

Love my Austin , forgot how scratchy my old vinyl was but great to hear them again and even better that I can record then onto USB to play in the car, digital radio is great as well as the DAB . Could go on and on just love it, get a BT transmitter and use your earbuds as well. Just love it.

Disappointed with the quality
I ordered two personalised vinyl cases, and both arrived in poor condition. Both had visible rust, and the light blue case had black marks on it. For items that are supposed to be new and custom-made, this is completely unacceptable.
I raised a complaint, but the response I received was underwhelming and didn’t offer a proper resolution. It felt like the issue was brushed aside.
The only positive was the fast delivery, but that doesn’t make up for receiving damaged products.
Would not recommend based on this experience. Response below.

Blue and looks like Laser dust should wipe clean with a multipurpose cleaner
The corners will not be rust - the laser process does produce a light brown dust - normally is wiped down - however we had a new staff member who may have missed the cleaning process - our sincere apologies

I purchased a brighton radio for our office and we love it! We listen to it daily via Bluetooth or sometimes the radio, amazing sound quality and looks so cute. I also have a makeup mirror speaker that I use daily and LOVE it! Amazing customer service and helpful family team too.

Bought a trendy novelty item which I loved. Unfortunately it stopped working within guarantee period. Contacted Steepletone who were very helpful & supportive & resolved the matter within days.
I had contacted them prior to this with a question about my item and received a quick and helpful response. Would buy from here again.& recommend them.

We had occasion to visit the company on 2nd May to leave our music centre for repair whilst visiting friends in the area. We went for some lunch and then came back to find our music centre fully repaired at a reasonable price. Your customer service and the employees involved were amazing. Thank you

A UK company that's been around since 1973, I contacted them to enquire about obtaining a service manual for my record player that needed attention as one of the speakers was not working. I bought it 2cd hand on Ebay and the company got straight back to me and sent me a circuit board diagram by email. Also they gave me a number to call should I need further assistance. What a great customer service, if only all companies did that.

I am in the market for a decent music centre, but it appears you now have two options open to you a second hand music centre from one of the bidding sites, or from what appears to be the market owner Steepletone, as no other builders are botherring to much with this side of the sale system, so after trauling through Steepletones offerings I settled on one of there systems top bracket around £500, right so I make contact and I ask what output does this system deliver, answer it has a very good sound, chrisp and clear, question that is not what I asked you, so let me put it another way what output watts per channel does the system deliver and what is the RMS level, to much question obvoiusly there sales have no ideal on what I was asking, Answer well it does give 15 watts max, question is that per channel or over all and the RMS? Answer 15 watts a channel RMS not answered, it was at this point I gave up realising this person really had no idea and the system was is rubbish and not worth the money, Steepletone systemsd are over price rubbish and there service staff have no idea. Avoid.

I bought my 15 year old son a record player for his birthday in February. Less than 6 months old and it stopped working. I contacted Steepletone, sent them videos or what was wrong. They sent me an email of things to try however these did not work. I contacted them and informed them of this to be told I can send it to them for it to be fixed however I have to pay the cost of shipping to and from. I live in Ireland, this is the worst company ever and I will never buy another product from them.

I purchased a modular music system from this company (Capitol Wood 2) and it cost me £400. To me, as a pensioner on a basic pension, that is rather a lot of money; however, I am disabled and housebound and so have little in the way of entertainment in life, my television and music being all I have.
The system began to malfunction and so I contacted Steepletone by phone and politely explained the fault to the recipient; however, he hung up on me. I phoned them again and the recipient of that call was a bit of a know-it-all, telling me it was due to a faulty CD and/or USB device and not their system. Very disappointing.
I cannot afford the expense of returning the item, nor could I get it to the post office to send it off to them anyway, due to my age and disability.
