We have two of these devices and they are of very poor quality. The app doesn't update properly and approvals seem to get lost somewhere. Have contacted monqi several times but they don't get back to me. Very dissatisfied and unhappy after initially offering the company heavy praise for their concept. The after care just wasn't there.

sir I purchasted an x2 phone which went wrong would not charge kept cutting out. got in touch with customer care speaking to a person called jack told to send the phone in followed all the instructions and waited for a response which did not happen. so I got in touch with jack again and was told the phone was lost was sent by registered post to be signed for, was told by jack it would be replaced .sent a lot of messages to jack and was ignored .still being ignored and without a phone I would like this resolved.

These are a fine example of the saying "If it looks too good to be true it probably is". Whilst they do look the part they do severely lack usability. The Apps either will not load or are unresponsive and lock up, the Cameras (although on paper look good) are pretty grainy, Signal is a little flaky, which does not appear to be the network as we both have identical phones and have switched to another provider and tested SIM cards in other phones
BUT my main issue is that although these are supposed to be "Smart Phones" there is no ability to cast to other smart devices (Smart TV etc) The whole idea of modern living is to be connected!!
they are no use if you are not able to send Pictures, Video, Audio around your network
STK when notified just didn't seem to care!!, Trying to make out they are designed with the ability for chromecasting!! Just look in settings-Display and see if you can cast to your TV or try linking the phone in other ways to Fire Stick or TV, It took ages just to link to Alexa device.
I was recommended these but I don't believe my friend uses many of the features so is unaware of these phones limitations.
my wife is happy enough with her one as she does not link her phone to other smart devices etc But if you like to use some of the features then good luck
Sending back for refund as no point keeping a phone that will not operate as a fairly modern unit, yes they are cheap but I have purchased better phones running later Android than this with better connectivity
I should have read reviews first as the majority of them seem negative & are fair and accurate reports on these, I wanted to go "British" but these are only Fronted as British and actually manufactured & programmed in China but to a very low spec & quality.

I purchased my stk Life 7 4G mobile last year after I had checked reviews and all seemed good!! There were several periods of time when I could not receive incoming text messages, although there was no problem with my Wifi. Over the last few months the mobile has deteriorated considerably, i.e. cutting out unless the phone is attached to the charger, not ideal for a mobile phone!! I sent a message to the STK Care Line & they advised me to do a factory reset. The problem however is the battery and they have been out of stock for quite a while. I cannot get a refund from Asda, as it has now gone over the 12 month period and stk will not give me a refund as I did not buy it directly from them, therefore I have a totally unsatisfactory mobile phone. My previous mobiles have been less expensive and have lasted for years!! I would not recommend this mobile, it has been a waste of money and has caused much inconvenience.

Purchased Life 7 4G.Purchased September 2018.After a few months it started to play up.It would cut off while in use,Aeroplane mode would appear,therefore communication lost,it would also start to vibrate during conversation,again communication lost.Sent for repair twice now,but still same.Torch function now comes on, on its own and the stk care function also may come on during a conversation.STK tell me to return again for further repairs.I have asked for money back,as a 3 year guarantee is included,but no joy.The phone is not fit for purpose.Utter Rubbish.Do Beware if thinking of buying one.I would rate no star if possible.

I bought an STK here lite it worked but I kep getting a message about the battery overheating this was within two months of purchase . So after an email to stk I arrange for it to be repaired and send it off signed for and it arrived and was signed for the next day. A few days later I get a reply telling me that it's been repaired and would be returned in a few days time (and would I like to take advantage of an offer of 20% off accessories) and if STK didn't hear from me regarding the offer in the next 24 hours they would just return my phone but here i am 7 days after the message to advise of the repair and still no phone I have called STK and spoken to someone who said that my phone has not been despatched yet but would be in the next day or two. Here I am writing a review don't buy STK if you are expecting to get anything resembling customer service if you need to send your phone in under warranty. BUYER BEWARE.

Had this phone for under a year and was getting various problems,such as battery going flat quick and icons on screen doing different functions,screen freezing and not being able to answer calls.Was contacted by evo who offered to have phone in their repair centre.Had to pay £7.50 postage which was not refunded to me and had phoned returned about 10 days later.Been working ok for a few months but now same thing has happened again.So im not shelling out another £7.50 to send it back.Would not even give this 1 star but that is the minimum rating I can do.Terrible phone please do not waste your money on this phone it is utter rubbish

Bought this phone for my son for his bday 1st the screen cracked now after a month and half today the screen went just like that.
I think maybe we should have stuck to iphone or Samsung.

STK Transporter glitchy and unreliable
Please note, I bought the STK Transporter Life from SS Telecoms i a view that British Design and manufacturing will not fail me .
I was hoping the 3 year warranty will come in handy if this go wrong. I am thinking I made the wrong choice and will never consider giving a chance to new entrants like yours and go with trusted brand
The phone does not functions normally. It is extremely slow, turns off on its own and even when it is powered on it displays , System UI not working, WhatsApp App will clsoe down , LinkedIn app shutting down on its own when these apps are not even running in the background.
I am utterly disappointed and feel like i wasted my time behind this phone.

Absolute rubbish
Absolute rubbish, I have coped with the STK life 7 but charging is a nightmare, it has now taken me 15 hours to get 38% charge on it. The phone was turned off most of that time with no connection on for any downloads etc. Never again...going back to Samsung.

I bought a STK Acer plus about 9 months ago and it's just started Not being able to charge, I went on STK Care THEIR so-called after care facility,And spoke to a kid called Jack,And the little rat just fobbed me off by saying it must be the charger well I have tried 5 different charges so it's Definitely the phone itself, I bought it from that shopping channel Idealworld But it's Not down to them..Am gonna kick up a proper stink if the mother's don't sort it coz it's got a 3 year warranty so be aware people there aftercare stinks although it could just be the person I had on the other end...

Seemed OK for the first few months
Seemed OK for the first few months, then the battery started fully discharging while switched off overnight (literally went from 98% to 4% in 8 hours while switched OFF! Happened on several occasions. It never discharged so quickly when it was ON!). As the battery has a very short warranty and I didn't want to purchase a new one, as a workaround I kept the phone on at all times to prevent it from discharging.
The final straw was a second, unrelated, fault. I became unable to receive texts from numbers I hadn't already texted/called before. Even after a factory reset, my colleague was unable to text me until I called her. STK wanted me to contact my network provider but I ended up returning the phone to the retailer as I was just within the time limit for refunds. I'm sure the fault was with the phone itself, as I could receive a preview of my colleague's message on my fitness tracker, but the phone showed no trace of it.

Just bought 2x stk one max 4G which have been delivered, but an absolute nightmare to set up. I'm used to stk phones as I have just upgraded from an stk life 8 which is broken through my own fault of not knowing the privacy password. Stk customer services could not help me so I ended up buying this new one. Neve again will I purchase a stk.
Excellent VFM
A really good value for money phone (STK X2). Although I have had a few issues. Love the speed and build quality. Phone is prone to refuse to charge at all, but generally a reboot is all that is required, and recently the screen went completely blank, but after a heart stopping few minutes I eventually managed a soft reset, and touch wood, that seems to have resolved that issue. Niggles yes but at this price point I don't think you could beat it for value.

The team I have dealt with at STK have been amazing. All of my family now have stks and couldn't be happier. They rang from a one max to the X2 gold edition. Wouldn't buy from anyone else.
