Horrible customer experience!!!
This is the first time I have taken the time to review a company and I believe it’s really needed as Surrey Blinds and Shutters have the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. I’ve also searched online for reviews and they seem to be no independent reviews only ones they publish on their website which tells you the story.
Firstly your minimum waiting time is 30 business days and that’s if you’re lucky, be very careful when placing an order and read the invoice because they tell you within 4 weeks but when you call for an update they claim they don’t have any information and refer to your invoice for timeframes.
Secondly they only have two persons that can do the installations I was shocked when one of the guys came to do my install and said he is one of two for the entire company.
Estimated dates and times cannot be given and calling for an update is impossible as they’re is again only one person can provide updates.
I will definitely not be using this company again they’re still working on the dark ages!
In summary rather than acting like an efficient private enterprise with efficient service it’s the exact opposite!

Thank you for your review, I am sorry to hear that you feel disappointed with our service.
We do collect customer feedback at various points along the ordering journey and we appreciate any and all feedback as it allows us to continually improve and develop our service.
I have taken a look at your order and I can see that you ordered both some Faux Wooden Venetians and some Shutters.
All of our product are made to measure so do have a minimum of a 3 - 5 week lead time.
Our Faux Wooden Venetians were on a 3 - 5 week lead time, I have taken a look at our call logs and I can see that we did try to contact yourself on the 5th week to arrange the fit and apologise on the longer side of the lead time. You were away, so we were unable to arrange the fit for these until your return.
The shutters on your order run on an 8-12 week lead time, as they are shipped over from China. While the shutters are in shipping I am afraid we are unable to provide updates until they come into port.
Unfortunately, the shutters were delayed in transit and this did extend your lead time, for which I sincerely apologise, this can occasionally happen and I hope you can appreciate it is outside of our control.
We are a small family run business, as such, we do have a smaller team. However, we do always do our best to adhere to our timeframes.
Once again I am sorry to hear that you are disappointed with our service.
