I had a complicated transportation plan involving 4 different segments and 2 cars and Taxiyo were absolutely brilliant for arranging and then being able to cope with changed timings. They declared a price and honored it to the letter so everything went surprisingly stress free. This is a bonus when dealing with taxis in non-English speaking countries. Really good service

Had to book a taxi as I was flying in…

Had to book a taxi as I was flying in Thailand and wanted to not have to run after taxis at the airport entrance. The driver they assigned was very professional and waited for me at the airport with a tablet having my name written on it.

The driver insisted that he carry my luggage and even opened the door to the car for me. Sittisak Pramnoi had a really clean car, and his service was immaculate. I will definetly use Taxiyo for my future travels

Great Service

Great Service, they helped us a lot about our customers. The support team is professional and helpful. This is our 5th booking with Taxiyo and all is well.

Be careful to use this service

I requested a ride and paid the required deposit, but Taxiyo never sent a driver confirmation or any update. With no assigned driver and no communication, I had no choice but to cancel. Taxiyo then refused to refund my deposit, even though they failed to provide the service I paid for. This feels dishonest and unprofessional. I would advise others to be cautious when booking with this company.

Poor adherence to their refund policy

I booked a taxi with Taxiyo almost two months in advance and paid a deposit. Their own FAQs (points #36 and #37) states that customers will receive a login and password to manage bookings, including cancellations. I never received any login details at all.
When I contacted them directly to cancel, they told me the deposit was non refundable — even though their FAQ #37 clearly states “full refund” for cancellations.
The policies on their website and the responses I received do not match. The lack of the promised login, the contradictory information, and the refusal to honor their own stated cancellation policy make this a very disappointing experience. I cannot and would not recommend this service based on this

Scam company

So I totally agree with other reviewers, the company works like a scam. They offer to find a driver, ask for pre-payment, and then nothing. Even if they cannot find a driver, they charge money. What for? So they can show that they CAN find even if they CANNOT do this. This isn’t honest! Don’t trust them.

Taxiyo.com is a total scam

Taxiyo.com is a total scam. I booked their service and they never confirmed the driver. When I re asked close to the service date for a driver confirmation they said that had an issue in their system and asked for a 300% price rise. I asked for a refund which they never issued.

Gibt es Taxiyo überhaupt? Nach einer Info, dass man binnen 30 min und 8 Stunden Bescheid bekommt war's das. Jetzt, auch 15 Stunden später, und die Fahrt hatte längst stattfinden sollen, keine Antwort. 0 Sterne für 0 Service.

Stay away from this company

I used this company recently. They offer a VIP large taxi service to F1 at Spa. I booked for Saturday July 26 830 am departure time. As you can imagine, you want this type booking confirmed as early as possible to leave time for finding an alternative which can be very difficult on F1 weekend. I was asked to pay $49 up front to place the booking, refunded if no driver assigned. We get to the day before, July 25, 3pm and no driver assigned. So I requested to cancel - too much uncertainty and the company couldnt say if i would get a driver or not. And because I asked to cancel - no refund of the $49. In short - you pay this company for nothing

Disappointing and Unreliable — No Response After Payment

I booked a private transfer through Taxiyo within Portugal, paid the deposit, received an automated confirmation, and then... total silence. No final confirmation, no driver details, and worst of all—no way to get in touch with the company.

Emails bounced back. Phone lines go unanswered with no voicemail. Their contact form? Doesn’t even submit. I was left in limbo with a time-sensitive trip and zero assurance that the service would be fulfilled.

If you can’t deliver a service, don’t take people’s money.

This felt like a ghost operation. Proceed with caution, and don’t rely on this company for anything that actually matters.

Worst car service in Japan.
Save yourself from hassle, dont book here.
They will threaten a lawsuit to you if you provide critism to them. What a waste! :/
Will never ever book here again!

Support and Responses Could Be Better

I booked a taxi ride with Taxiyo 4 days in advance of my travel date and paid the deposit, but then I didn't get a confirmaton e-mail for the ride. Next day I e-mailed their support and they got back to me immediately that the confirmation is usually sent two days before departure.

48 hours until deadline I still had no information. I didn't know whether to start looking for alternative rides or not, because I didn't want to double-book myself (especially with the deposit already paid), but this did cause me a fair bit of worry on holidays. I contacted Taxiyo again three times that day, but I received no answer to any of my queries.
One day before departure I got an email that they were sorry to inform me that no drivers were available and that they tried to find third-party partners but were unsuccessful. I was also notified that I would receive my deposit back.

I understand that ensuring a driver is not entirely in Taxiyo's control and that such situations can arise. I am also pretty sure that I will receive my deposit back, even though it could take up to 90 days as per their TOS (edit: I received the refund after 3 weeks). I am just disappointed in the lack of communication from Taxiyo's part when I was asking them to either confirm my ride or cancel it so I could arrange something myself instead. Not knowing was worse for me than a cancellation, because I spent a couple of days worrying about this issue instead of enjoying my vacation.

No booking but money taken. Threatening our family with a 550,000 usd lawsuit!!!

This is an update. See original below. I got this from TAXIYO when I posted my genuine review. You can make your own mind up what you think if TAXIYO see their email to me below. I have received several of these now. Summary is that TAXIYO took large deposit and then the night before leaving with three children in an early morning start they did not confirm a booking or reply to any urgent contact.

Dear Customer,

Our team responded to your previous email.

Your driver was scheduled and you were receive details soon. But as per your request your booking cancelled and you will get refund.

Also here is a copy of our previous email to you:

Regarding your reservation and the $550,000 compensation claim:
The disparaging comments on internet you made about our company will cause us significant financial and emotional damage.

In this situation, our international legal team will file a lawsuit against you for $550,000 in damages.

Please note: Our system automatically sends driver details to customers 2 days or up to 2 hours before the ride, depending on the location.

Due to the high season, we are receiving a high volume of emails. Today, our team has already responded to your refund request.

However, we received a disparaging comment about our company on Trustpilot.

Your taxi service is still more than 15 hours away. You have left a bad review for a service you have not yet received.

Please delete your comment. We will give you a $30 discount coupon for future reservations.

Please note, we won a $50,000 lawsuit against a customer who previously made disparaging remarks about our company. The customer also had to cover $30,000 in legal fees.

Our company is currently in the process of securing new investments, so your comment will affect us even more financially and emotionally. Therefore, the compensation claim will be $550,000. A notification has been sent to our lawyers regarding the case fil

Please delete your comment on trustpilot and other platforms if you made. We will then instruct our lawyers to cancel the case file.

We can solve this issue mutually.

When you book and pay a large deposit with Taxiyo; guess what you haven’t actually got a booking.
You get an emailing to make sure you understand this and then it is left completely open if a driver is not found up the the night before your holiday.

So the decent thing would be to communicate that there is no driver found and refund 48 hours before. 24 hours would even be something but to have no communication leave you feeling totally high and dry. We are leaving at 7am in the morning and it’s after 7pm. We emailed support yesterday and today and go NO REPLY.

Given that it’s a time sensitive transaction it’s terrible service. You have to ask yourself if you want to book with a company that takes money off you for no firm booking and then not offer a refund. It appears others have also had to chase for a refund when the driver could not be found.

We would like to inform you that your comment is not fair and does not reflect the truth.

You made this comment one day before your travel date. So, you gave a bad review for a service you have not yet received.

Under normal circumstances, our response time is 2 hours. If there is more than 24 hours before the travel date, there may be delays in email responses due to high email volume and peak season demand.

If there is less than 6 hours before your travel time, support requests will be answered within 30 minutes.

We have examined the situation and explained it in the following steps:

1- You canceled your reservation one day before the travel date due to delayed email responses. On the same day, you commented that you did not receive a refund. This is incorrect information.

2- Our working conditions are quite clear. Driver details are sent to customers 2 days before the travel date or, in some locations due to high demand, 2 hours before the travel time.

3- In the case of no driver assignment, you will receive a refund. Despite receiving an email from us confirming that you would receive a refund, you still made this comment on the same day.

4- Since you sent an email containing insults and misled people about not receiving a refund, we will examine the matter in more detail and reserve the right to take legal action.

5- You received a refund from Taxiyo, and we have evidence of this.
