Low staff
Hey guys.
Been a coupke times recently and while the staff been fairly nice and the set up is great, the place is so so understaffed!!
I did get apologies from a lovely manager who jumped in to serve people which was super to see but was far too busy for the little staff to deal with and some people were getting cross which i hate to see.
Food did take a whike to come but i assume this was due to the above issue and we had two lanes together as a party but food was brought at miles apart time wise even though we were there at same time.
Sorry guys but hopefully this will push the powers above to sort you some more staff! But as i said the manager lady could not aplogise more she was lovely so hats off to her and for jumping in with the team.

Issues with equipment
There was an issue with the lane which I understand cannot be helped but I had to ask 3 times if it could be dealt with. We was sat waiting 20minutes for someone to deal with it. Once they did it was fixed within seconds.
We then went onto an arcade game which is a timed game. This also malfunctioned and by the time it was sorted the time was up so was a waste of money.

Fantastic place let down by other visitors
The place it's self was fantastic easy to book with a 5 minute wait but we where early so not a problem. The down side we found was a family on a different lane who had 4 of the lighter balls for children who was not willing to part with one of them so my child was upset by having to use a heavier ball. There where no reason why they could not give us the ball but was told no when asked.

Dissatisfied with bowling at castleford.
We had a lot of fun bowling but the reason we gave a 3 was because the finger holes were not wide enough. All the lanes were full so we couldn't swap any bowling balls with others. The lane next to us had alot of young people but they didn't have any wide finger bowling balls. Also there was alot of chips in the bowling balls. When we go out we are not very competitive, we go out to have a good laugh and lots of fun which we did but the experience could have been better

Not enough staff serving ....
Not enough staff serving ..... receptionist tried her best ...... but the girl who served us, incorrect drinks on both occasions and was just sooo v miserable, whilst serving us.
The bowling lane didn't have working barriers for my nephew, even though booked in advance. Won't go back there.

Enjoyable game
I played two games with my 12 year old grandson and we enjoyed it very much. It helped when he could use the bumpers which meant he beat me at both games. It was his birthday so it made his day. He also beat me on karting track!

Value for money and fun, however
Value for money and fun. However,
Long queues for checking in (even though prebooked, still had to wait for a lane) and even longer wait for drinks.
Balls getting stuck regularly at the bottom of the lane and waiting an age for staff to free them.

Bowling was great
Bowling was great, could do with more separation for the next lane so my family could enjoy the experience without the feeling of being watched.
