The 10% subscription didn't appear at checkout. I emailed them but didn't get a response. Other stores have much better prices on bulk buys. They are constantly out of stock of various flavours that they make themselves. Just a pretty poorly managed company. I've switched to a popular vape company that offer a far better service (vape club) and NO...... I don't work for them
I had a terrible experience with this vape company. I opted for a deal to buy two products at a lower price, and they sent me two completely different flavors instead. If they can't even get a simple order right, they definitely don't deserve my business in the future. What’s worse is their customer service I reached out for help and they just ignored me. Terrible service overall. I would avoid this e-cig store like the plague!
Arrived half empty. I messaged them explaining the issue. Very poor customer service. I’ve been buying from this company for at least 3 years and won’t be buying again. The person I spoke to genuinely made me feel like I was lying.

Absolutely shocking service so I ordered a new vape all went through not an issue but then took 36hour to get the confirmation through even tho it tells you 24hour for it then to get a refund email to say it’s being refunded basically as not got it in stock and still not had any type of refund and can’t get in touch with them even tho I have tried to contact them in every witch way possible! I will sure be never ordering from them again!
The worst on line store ever my order was cancelled and i sent several messages to them and no response from them yet keep away

I was a loyal customer of The Ecig Store in Galway for many years. On 6 May 2025, I reached for a vape bottle on display — something I’ve done without issue in previous visits. A staff member scolded me, despite there being no signage indicating that this was not allowed. I paid politely but remarked, “get over yourself” due to the unprofessional tone.
Later that evening, I received an unsolicited call from the store owner, Gerry Devaney, who initially refused to identify himself. He later admitted retrieving my mobile number via a reprinted receipt linked to my loyalty card. I had not consented to this use of my personal data, and the call was made to personally reprimand me for a minor disagreement — not for a service-related issue.
I formally requested the erasure of my data under GDPR, but this was ignored. Instead, I was banned from all store locations, and warned against posting a review. I have since submitted a complaint to the Data Protection Commission.
This review is not written in malice, but to inform others about how personal data may be used without consent. I’m deeply disappointed after years of supporting this business.

To address a few points factually:
This was the first time I was reprimanded in this manner. There was no signage indicating customers could not pick up products, and I had done so without issue on previous visits.
During your call, you initially gave only your first name. I asked for clarification on who I was speaking with, which is reasonable when receiving an unsolicited call.
The use of my personal data for a personal reprimand was the core of my concern. This went beyond transactional service and was a GDPR issue, which is why I exercised my right to file a complaint.
I did not threaten, but informed you of my right to pursue appropriate legal and data protection avenues, which is standard practice.
I am glad to hear you have now erased my data as requested.
My review was written in good faith, based on facts. I will allow others to make their own judgment.

i had some issues with the tracking of my orders but they do answer mails and we solved the issues, good products
Absolutely shameful!
They had produscts as available online, placed an order, got a call next day to find out they are out of stock and I will be refunded. That was on 4th of october, so 26 days ago, still no money back on account.
Contactef them, including Gerry, they just stopped replying to emails.
Had to take it up with my bank today to get the money back.

Ordered a Innokin Kroma 217 Z Kit from them, first time order. Amazon had it up for 80 Euro, but the Ecig Store had it for 45e. Delivery was next day and free by DPD.
Vape contained all that was advertised on website.
Really happy with the service, delivery and pricing, will 100% be ordering from here again.

I've had bad experiences in the Tuam road shop and the Eyre Square one. On Tuam road when I was new to vaping the guy let out a loud sigh every time I asked him a question about vapes because i didn't know anything, after my third question he just let out another long sigh, stared at the floor and said "what do you want?" He still works there. Today I was in Eyre square and the guy there had an attitude from the moment I arrived for no reason it was bizarre. I just wanted juice and bulb glass. Told him exactly which number glass and which juice I wanted and clearly said I wanted 2 nic shots. He started looking at the 10ml juices for the number glass I had said until i pointed at where the bulb glasses are and he acted like i was the idiot. I walked over and pointed at the 100ml juice and said 2 nic shots. Back at the til he's scanning and I said again I wanted 2 nic shots. "WHY DIDNT YOU TELL ME THAT WHEN I WAS OVER THERE!"?
They act like customers are a complete inconvenience to them, when you don't know what you need it's difficult, when you do know what you need it's difficult.

They sell vapes with charging cable but no batteries 🤷♀️. Then doesn’t answer emails to let you know what kind of battery to buy. Unusable without a battery
Edit as got a reply, first email about it was 7/10/23 no reply second email 22/1/23 no reply. Came across the item in back of press still in its box yesterday which was 8/6/24 so decided to email again no reply

I ordered a vape online it arrived on time and I was happy, until it came in a open box the vape was not working properly the oil was coming out so I phoned them up they told me to return the vape and they will pay the post, they phone me to say that the vape is working fine they think it was the coil it need to be replaced, the point is I bought a kit how was I to know it's the coil, so they are sending it back to me and should of cost me,€39 now 49 because they are not paying for my post made think it was my fault but yet the sold me a kit and coil wasn't working I wasn't happy with the way they handle things they said if It was manufactured fault they would pay me post but because it's the coil not there problem but they sold me kit if they had of said it's the coil I wouldn't of sent it back I will not be ordering from that place again and the coil is a part of the kit you can't vape with out one I asked them to replace it with a different vape and to use the post money to make up the difference but that wasn't happening all I can say horrible

Would give it no stars if possible.
Vapes in stock with faulty coils, this same coil is also not stocked in the store. Faulty coil damaged my vape and the store refused to exchange it.
False advertising as products are incorrectly labelled to be cheaper than they are.
Extremely rude useless staff especially one particular young woman who talks to people as if they are children or completely stupid. Cannot handle being called out on products being incorrectly price labelled so wrongly accused you of 'berating' her. Looks at everyone as if they are completely stupid - would want to take a good long look at herself. Can tell by the scowl on her face and the tone of her voice that she HATES working at the Ecig store. On top of it she carried on like this in front of the so called manager of the shop who is as bad as she saw nothing wrong with how her member of staff carried on.
Took my business elsewhere and was told in that vape shop that they get a lot of people coming to them after having a bad experience at the Ecig store in Athlone.
AVOID plenty of other vape stores in Athlone that know how to operate properly.
