Transact Wrap Avis 

I am a client at Transact. I have been waiting weeks for Transact to transfer funds to another Investment company, without success. I am told that it requires the Fund Managers approval.
In this electronic environment, why is this taking weeks and weeks for the Fund Manager to make it happen?.

Just a really professional dependable platform

The website is excellent. The simple format provides all the information required quickly and easily, and in a clear format. Please don't change.

Excruciatingly slow development of website plus unwillingness to integrate with consumer-facing financial modelling/analysis tools mean that customer experience is extremely restricted.

Financial solutions (pensions, ISAs etc) are good at the core, but they feel as though they haven't been developed in 15 years, falling further and further behind competitors.

I haven’t had any experience with Transact since I opened my pension other than filing paperwork until this year (‘25) when I withdrew some money, and also closed my other pension, and rolled it into Transact. The team were helpful with everything, and it is easy to contact them by phone. ( Why I closed the other pension.)

For context, I am an 18-year-old who had inhereted some money that was saved and had very little idea how to deal with it on my own. I have found that customer service is very patient and great at explaining aspects of the website to me in depth. I would also like to mention Kirsty specifically who made me feel comfortable enough to call back when I had further questions.

My late Father had an account with Transact, created through his IFA. Whilst the value of the IFA was doubtful, Transact was a very effective platform. Critically for any technology powered business the true value of a company is revealed when things go wrong, rather than when they go right. As his LPA and subsequently executor for my Father, I was so grateful when I could talk to someone knowledgeable and understandable about what needed to be done. A quality business.

I have been a Transact user since 2008 and it never ceases to amaze me how they go above and beyond what you experience with any other provider.
My latest experience was in arranging a Structured Deposit investment for multiple clients and being close to the deadline to invest. Ned White was so helpful at all times, he ensured no client was left behind and had the curtesy to email afterwards to confirm all clients had been invested on time.
Over the years I’ve used other platforms but none of them offer the investment flexibility and service that Transact does. Thank you so much to Ned and everyone else at Transact for foing such an amazing job.

I work for a financial institution, I engage with various providers, yet this particular company is undoubtedly the worst I have had the misfortune of dealing with. They create significant challenges by taking an excessive amount of time to respond to inquiries, and they are unable to provide complete, concise, or clear guidance on what is required, resulting in a back-and-forth process with our client to obtain signatures, among other things. This leads to frustration among our clients and, to be candid, a significant lack of admiration for this company.
Would avoid any dealings with Transact.

Always helpful and clear about what I needed help with

Last year I retired and wanted to use my two pension pots, held with Transact and Aviva, to purchase an annuity. I used a qualified IFA to manage the process.
Aviva transferred my funds to the annuity provider upon request within 5 working days. Transact were a nightmare to deal with and it took 81 days from the initial application for the transfer of funds to my annuity being set up. Some of the delays were not directly caused by Transact, but the process was so complex and poorly managed that it led to confusion with myself, my IFA and the annuity provider. Once my annuity was eventually set up, I complained formally to Transact. Whilst they responded in good time and were courteous, they rejected all but one of my detailed issues and offered less than 15% of the lost annuity income I claimed. There was no acknowledgement of the huge disparity between their service and Aviva's, or of any failings in their confusing processes or customer service.
