Well priced but slow delivery
Purchased malaria tablets for a holiday. Process of buying was simple and tablets were well priced vs competitors. However delivery felt slow with the tablets taking one week to arrive despite tracking code being produced within one business day.

After looking into this a little further, we can see that you placed your order on the evening of the 28th, and we dispatched it the next day, once the pharmacy was open again. It was then delayed in the Royal Mail network until the 5th of February. This is most unusual, and we have launched an investigation with them as to why this delay occurred. This is not the usual level of service we get from them, so we are eager to find out what happened. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We hope this rare occurrence does not prevent you from returning to us in the future. We can only apologise.

Very good prices and fast delivery. I’m giving 4 stars because although you order a box of 24, if you only need 23 for your trip, they remove one tablet. You only realise this when the box arrives. It’s still cheaper than other pharmacies, but I wish this had been made clearer at checkout.

We’d like to clarify how our process works. Every order is carefully reviewed by our pharmacists. If the quantity requested doesn’t align with the length of your trip, they will contact you to understand the reason why you ordered that amount. This clinical safeguarding is essential to ensure prescription medicines are supplied in line with medical guidance.
Some customers order less than needed, as they may have tablets from previous trips left, while others order more, in case of table loss or damage, so we always reach out before releasing items from the dispensary. If you didn’t receive a message from us, it’s possible it was filtered into your junk or spam folder.
In addition to safeguarding, we also want to ensure customers aren’t paying for medication they don’t need. If a patient requested extra tablets as a precaution (for example, in case of loss or damage during their trip), simply confirming this with the pharmacist would resolve the issue.
We hope this helps explain why your order may have been adjusted and why you were charged for a reduced quantity.
