UC Blinds Limited Avis 

Was very pleased with the results and was a quick service have used before but at your shop in hall green Birmingham and that was also a first-class service

Love the blinds perfect fit , but the instructions were not very good . Had to get a friend to help . We unravelled them took all the chains off the bottom and fitted them singly ( not what your instructions said but we ended up in a big tangle using your instructions !) so after all that I’m really pleased with them .

Had three blinds fitted at one large window costing over £400. The blinds themselves are good but the service is really poor. One blind has been incorrectly fitted and moves about half a centimetre between the brackets.The three fascias do not connect together and the sharp edges catch on the curtains when drawn and detracts from the overall look. The faults were reported and they came out to look at them. They were reluctant to see that there was a problem and eventually agreed to send out someone to refit the one blind and look at a solution to join the fascias. It was all as if it was too much trouble because they are so busy. That was 5 weeks ago and i haven't heard from them since and don't think I will from their attitude when they came out...very, very poor service.

Initially had issues with my emails reaching if blinds. Seems to be working now.

Ordered smart blinds, prices given when using the measuring and fitting services appear to be higher than using the website with self measurements for the blinds themselves... Almost 30%, however, they're still reasonable. For the motors and hub they appear to only charge market rates (i.e. what you'd spend if you bought them elsewhere) so that too is fair.

Blinds were ready within the timeframe given and Installed. I was disappointed with one of the cassette systems in particular however UC blinds were easy to reach out to and addressed the matter on a second just shy of a week later. The company does seem to want to address issues where it can.

The technology for the smart side of things is still young. This is beyond UC blinds control and is from a third party. The suppliers/developers of that were also very approachable and responsive to support requests resolving issues there straight away. I think UC blinds would do well to take a more hands on approach with the support of that technology however as they are the suppliers to end customers.

As such, a 5 star rating from me.

Things UC blinds may wish to consider in future:
- perhaps walk customers through with at least one smart blind setup via the app. This will help customers out and also give your installers insight into any shortcomings in the tech you're working with.
- cassette systems, consider using brushes beind and in front of the blind as standard (it instantly makes the system much more effective)
- consoder the margins for the professional measure and install to see if you can offer customers a better deal.

I may use UC blinds again in the near future for a couple more installations.

Happy to recommend them, but would say ensure you're fully satisfied with the installation and if you have any issues, reach out to them, they do seem to genuinely want to help.

Just avoid them unless you want to go through what I am...
Three ordered, two perfect but the third had been damaged on assembly but sent anyway hoping I wouldn't notice.
They blamed the courier even though I provided video evidence (security cameras) showing the box was perfect on delivery.
After 3 weeks they agreed to replace, 5 weeks and still waiting.
If this was eBay I'd describe them as platinum level powerscammers.

Waited 3 weeks for my order as advised then to be informed the product I ordered was no longer available. They did offer me the chance to choose another design but unfortunately I couldn’t find a suitable replacement. They did however refund me my money back very promptly. Therefore 3 stars.

Very happy with service. Vertical blinds arrived with a few damaged pieces. Emailed UC Blinds and they phoned me back 10 minutes later. Asked if there were any others issues and helped me fix another issue. Received the replacement swiftly. Great service and the blinds now look great.

Good and fast service
Our only problem is the emergency break on the cord keeps breaking, if we don't pull the blind very carefully. Which obviously it's supposed to but it's not very convenient.
Otherwise it's great.
