UK Leak Detection carry out leak detection across London and the home counties, locating hidden leaks without damaging your home. We can also assist in making an insurance claim and carry out required access works ready for repair and restoration. If you have boiler pressure loss, or it is dropping over a few days you likely have a leak in the heating system. This will cause damage to your home, the radiators start rusting as inhibitor is diluted and this in turn blocks the boiler. Similarly if your water meter is spinning when no use in your home, you have a leak that needs locating urgently. We have all the equipment to locate these leaks and if needed dry your home and process an insurance claim to restore your home.

Really brilliant service start to finish
Really brilliant service start to finish. Jim the engineer was very helpful and patient and explained things to me very clearly. Turned up on time, worked efficiently and gave a very thorough report too. Good communication and advice from customer support throughout. Would recommend to anyone needing leak detection as it can be quite stressful but to have good service like this makes all the difference

The service from Alan was incredible
The service from Alan was incredible, he arrived when he said he would, he was prepared Covid safe, very organised and talk us through what he was doing. Most importantly we never gave up and after six hours he located the leak and showed me a video of it leaking. Fantastic service.

Saved us loads of time and great service
Hi,
Just want to say thanks for a great job done. It's nice to have an engineer turn up on time and crack on with the job. Found the leak after using some hi-tech detection equipment. This saved us loads of time breaking and digging things to locate in the old fashioned way...it was not in a simple place either, never is. We were able to get it fixed once we knew where to look.... would recommend and use these guys again...

Let us know if you have any issues with the insurer, we have found they are not behaving very well at present (when do they!).
Very professional and knowledgeable
The engineer was prompt, very informative and professional throughout. He explained why he was wearing gloves and a face mask at the door, which we really appreciated.
Leak found on first visit. Second visit removed flooring and concrete underneath, making much less mess than I expected, and luckily they could make a repair on the day too.
As our insurer hadn't been particulary helpful, they advised us how to move this forward.
Good experience in challenging circumstances.

Leak found 5 meters away from predicted spot!
I was disappointed to see how far out the prediction was from the reality when my contractors started the job.
They dug at the predicted spot and found no leak, but had to follow the supply pipe back more than five metres before a rupture was found. Two hours with a shovel and the guys found the leak that your chap failed to pinpoint after more than four hours with a bag full of "high tech" gear and a £500.00 charge! I wrote to the company, but had no reply. Deeply disappointed.

Good Afternoon, I'm sorry you feel disappointed but we did reply to both of your emails and Dan our engineer who attended, called to discuss this with you.
From the photos, you sent over it was about 8 feet away in the garden from the epicentre on a run of over 85 feet. Externally a larger amount of trace gas is required as any breeze dissipates it quite quickly. A larger area than an internal leak is common for finding a large leak on water mains. Your email was requesting a refund and we replied twice to explain the above, I can only guess you did not receive the emails?
I am glad your leak is fixed and you did not have to dig up 85 feet of driveway, but could flip up a few patio tiles and trace it back a few feet, not down the drive or across the pavement.
All of our engineers are out working hard to assist customers, placing themselves at risk during Corona Virus, it is disappointing that you chose to leave a poor review, when your leak was located with little disturbance.
