This debt company keeps sending letters and texts saying I owe 600 pounds for octupus energy when I'm not living at the property any more my mum was the bill payer and before we left my mum paid octupus every thing she owed we moved out off the property 28th Feb 2023 even have all paperwork to prove we sold then moved out 28th Feb you are after the wrong people to scam we will be taking action iff these scammers keep harrasing me then the buyer moved in on 28th Feb me and my mum moved out this debt company are chasing me when all bills were paid before we left we've rang octupus they have told us we owe nothing they even said ignore these letters and texts as it probably a scam in fact octupus energy have told us the buyer off the property switched his energy supplier in middle off may this debt is from 28th Feb 2023 to middle off may iff there is a genuine debt the buyer off the property owes the money as he switched on middle off may so didn't pay from 28th Feb to middle of may stop texting or sending me letters as I owe you nothing you will get nothing out off me you are wasting your time get a real job and stop trying to bully and scam people

Have been continually contacted by this company who, after being told I have no knowledge of a debt and that information is wrong continue to aggressively contact me. They ignore the FCA rules and are aware that I suffer from health issues, physical and mental. Despite my now contacting the FCA and Trading Standards I will now complain to the Financial Ombudsman and Information Commissioners.
They are chancers who just bully and threaten individuals and no matter now many times you tell them to leave you alone or provide proof they continue to threaten.

As an addendum to this, yet another made up name Chantelle gives a generic response. Like the Cydney who emailed me. What next, Chardonnay or Chenise or Malbec etc etc. These people are charlatans and bullies and the bull they give of being experts in their field is a cover for people of dubious standing. How proud to work for a bunch of thugs who threaten people in dire need or are to weak to take on these ar##wipes. Have you noticed there is no direct email to this Chantelle. The name is Mr.Rossi, first names are unprofessional and depict a friendship which we do not have and never will. How can an imaginary person these people use fill you with any kind of trust? It is about time these companies were abolished, vultures looking for pickings at a massacre........

They have mailed me for a debt from unknown supplier.
I have tried to solve the issue by emailing them but I had to wait 6 days for their reply with zero information.
Update 8/2/2022: I was told that they are waiting the company to forward them the invoices etc. So I am adding 2 stars.

Told me that they will write of 20% of the bill. If I paid that day, I did now the company that was owed are waiting the 20% paid by me because it’s outstanding 😡

UK Search Limted is the most corrupt company in the UK, I will report this to the police after submitting this review. They added debt to my account from an another persons account and now they say the accounts been closed. After numerous complaints zero movement. Police action is now required to stop the ongoing fraud and abuse from these vile corrupt people

continuous emails though they are contacting the wrong person (of the wrong sex) in the WRONG COUNTRY. Will not stop even though emailed -- want an international phone call where they can badger me more.

Keep sending us letters for a debt that was paid to the original company in full 3 months ago, then when I am trying to contact them, they keep asking for my date of birth to make sure they are speaking to the right person, but they have never been given that information, then say they can't help me as they can't verify my ID surprise surprise

This weasel company keep sending emails for a person who has never had my email address have contacted the FSA and the police so hopefully they will just go away but these cowboys never seem to listen let's hope they come a knocking because some heads will be a rockin if they do

I received a call today from an officious , intolerant , abrasive female expecting full payment for a utility bill I had never received - by post or online
I refused to pay her over the phone and insisted on going to the utility bill website where I logged into my online account.
The utility company website indicated I had a bill due which I paid there and then online.
The female working for UK Search then told me I could not pay the utility company direct as the bill no longer was ‘ owned’ by them
I told her that I would not be paying her at all and that I had there and then just paid the utility company the outstanding amount.
Cheeky woman with not an ounce of give !!
Then I phoned the utility company to complain to them as how could I have paid a bill I owed , when they hadn’t told me I had one.
Disgusting and arrogant company UK Search is - appalling lack of awareness
I wasted over 2 hours of my working day today to sort out this mess which was not of my making

although polite, this debt collection company is the worst I have dealt with in terms of compassion and understanding.

I suffer from chronic mental health but no consideration for that at all !

Again another letter. Never known a Debt company to refuse a Early payment, some companies would be grateful of this But no you lot ain't. so back to the drawing board with the orgiinal date. As stated before in my last reviews Its very hard for me to talk for any length of time on the phone due to illness.

This company is corrupt, sure they was once legitimate but now they are now trying to scam people for their own profits.

UK Search are a debt collection company based in the United Kingdom. Their full company name is Aberdeen Financial Limited. They are registered with the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA)

What can I say about this company very rude saids I owe money to utilita from dec 2015-june 2018 when I wasn't in that property after February 2018 and when I ask for exact days and months they just keep changing the subject total scammers

My daughter is being chased for a debt with Welsh Water, there is no debt and Welsh Water don’t have her on their system. In 2 days there have been texts, calls and a letter. Seems we are not alone, we are going to send them an email and then just ignore them

This week we received a letter informing that my wife is in debt for an unpaid water bill, we had a joint account at Affinty water, but the collection letter came only in her name. we don't understand why we are still customers of Afinnity and there is absolutely nothing on the company's platform and even if it had, I believe that the normal thing would be to be contacted first by the water supplier. We paid on the same day but now reading all these feedbacks I believe I was the victim of some kind of scam. I still point out the inelegant and rude way of charging a bill that we didn't owe it seems! be careful, contact the alleged creditor first before making any payment.

This company keep sending me messages to pay my debt, meanwhile anytime I tried to visit their website for payment, they deny me access to my account.

They send me inflated amount and when I send them message asking about it, I get no response but instead they keeping sending their generic messages to me.

What an awful company. Upon calling the number given they point blank refused to identify themselves yet expected me to proved them with personal details.

They were asked specifically if they were called UKSearch Limited but refused to answer this.

Not the best of starts, nor does it inspire confidence in their internal procedures and provision of information.

Why are they so scared to answer basic security challenge questions when the answers are freely available on Companies House?

The so called debt was a bill for an unknown account with Wave utilities for water supply to date (2023) for a premises that had vacated 3 years ago in 2020.

They obviously do zero due diligence on the debts passed to them and are threatening, secretive and rude in their communication.

A company I'd avoid like the plague, but unfortunately if the debt was valid and had been transferred to them it would be a necesary evil to deal with them.

This lot are charlatans. They have been chasing me for an unpaid water bill from Affinity Water, who I have never had an account with. I also contacted Affinity Water, and they confirmed that they have no record of me or the supposed debt that this lot are chasing, even when searching using the reference that was on the recovery letter. I called them and the insist Affinity have requested them to pursue this debt. Absolutely shocking they can get away with this.
