UNCLE Wiener's Wholesale Avis 

My 65 year old mother went into this store to purchase a 1600$ tool bench for a christmas gift that we had found online (over her lunch hour). After waiting quite a while for a sales employee to become available, she was eventually helped, we questions were answered, and she decided to check out the rest of the store in order for me to come and pick up the tool bench with the truck. While browsing she was loudly told by the same asian female employee (who knew she was purchasing the $1600 bench) *loudly* that her small/ med size leather purse looked like a backpack and that she had to leave the store.. for reference its a black leather Mat&Nat purse with one shoulder strap. My mom was extremely embarrassed by this employees attitude especially since she was the one who was just helping her with a very large purchase. We ended up not purchasing the tool bench due to the embarrassment and my mother being told to leave the store. If sealed small-med size purses are not allowed in this store, it needs to be better advertised and posted everywhere to save future customers embarrassment. My parents are also business owners in Red Wing area and will be sure to let their customers know her experience at this neighbouring business.

I purchased the NEW GAMBREL DEER HUNTING TRUCK HITCH GAME WINCH HOIST 62604 and it broke the first time I used it on a small deer. I took it back for an exchange and was told that they could not exchange or refund. I would have to send an email to the claims department. They do not stand behind anything they sell even if it is defective. Worst warranty I have ever seen. Be careful if what you buy because you will be stuck with it even if it is defective.

In March 2024 my company purchased a new 20-ton hydraulic jack from Uncle Wieners in Lloydminster, AB. They would not accept credit card payment without a 3% surcharge, only an e-transfer, so we complied and e-transferred $1254.75 to them. As soon as we got home, I tried to lift the rear end of my pickup truck with it. It would not lift it. I called them and was told to email the Edmonton head office. Their phone was an answering machine but they never returned our calls.. Several emails to them also went unanswered. I returned the (new but not working) jack to the Lloydminster store on Mar 28/24 and asked for a refund. Again- No refunds-No returns but I could have $1254.75 credit towards something else. I needed a wheel balancer and e-transferred an additional $315.00. It didn't work either. A fella who ran a tire shop came from Calgary to check out this machine. After 4 hours of trying to get the balancer to work, he said it wouldn't give the same results twice and was useless. We returned it (new but not working) to Uncle Wieners on July 10/24. We called and emailed Uncle Wieners head office with the same result - no reply. A word to the wise - avoid Wiener Schnitzel junk! We are still trying to get our $1569.00 refunded.

I would like to buy from them two expandable containers homes and a garage, I sent them a wire transfer to their bank account in Royal Bank of Canada but the bank refused my payment flagged as fraud, And then saddenly they stopped answering my phone calls claiming that they are busy. Then when I called them they started to cares me and refused dealing with me. Very strange company to deal with.

We bought a set of sofa from Uncle Wiener’s,the sofa are incredibly comfortable and the build quality seems excellent..I absolutely love the design..

Bought a compressed air tire inflator, and it actually works! All the parts were in the box! Nothing was damaged when I opened it! Warning - Buy products from this store that cost an amount you can afford to lose, you will have to live without warranty or refund privileges. Regardless of the hilarious comments by an anonymous “owner”, you cannot return anything. You will never get any after sales service, parts, or warranty. Ever. Just know that going in and you won’t be too disappointed. Yes, I am surprised and pleased that my purchase actually functions as designed, so four stars - this time!

I will NEVER buy anything from Uncle Wieners ever again. We purchased 21 shop lights from the Saskatoon store with the intention of getting twelve more. One light quit working shortly after we purchased it. Their warranty states one year. They did not want to honor it. What a fight it was to get a replacement. Stay away from this place and their Chinese crap. I'd sooner support reputable stores. Please be smart and STAY away from Uncle Weiners.

Warranty on faulty merchandise.Purchased a number of different LED lights but did not install them till a later date, just to find out three of them would only partially would come on. I did try to exchange them but was told I would have to do it online which I refused and was able to talk to one of the management people. He was rude, arrogant and gave me every excuse not to exchange the faulty lights. I did warn him that I would post a complaint on the internet. His reply was; I do not care what you do;. Another scam they did was advertise a big sales event with big red signs in the windows saying SALE!! So naturally I entered the store but did not see any items on sale, so I asked one of the employees where were all the products that are on sale? Her reply was the signs were put up just to draw the customers in. I know that I will never shop at Uncle wieners stores ever, even if I live another 100 years. I would strongly advise for people not to waste their money but go to a reputable store that are pleasant and honor their warranties. Please people do not waste your hard earned money for people who show no RESPECT for their customers.This event took place in the Edmonton Alberta store.

Total false advertising and wouldn't take the product back upon bringing that to their attention. Place is a scam.

Will never shop here again. Not unhappy about product purchased, just very unhappy with the false advertising!

You show the biggest size of a product on website, go into store only to find it's over double what is advertised on the website.

Upon questioning staff, as took photo in of said product on said website was told "oh, all our prices are listed below."

The photo clearly shows said product in said size for said price.

A little ticked as drove all the way there to purchase and was in need of right away, bought said product.

Then at till was charged a 3% credit card convenience fee as I chose to pay with credit card and not debit. Have never paid a credit card convenience fee anywhere else I chose to shop, and I guarantee I never will again, as I will not be returning.

Have bought various items over the past couple of years at the Regina store, great deals and have been happy with my purchases. Have always dealt with Cody there who is helpful and great to deal with, was unhappy when he was moved stores but still helps me out when I'm looking for something, thank you!

They put a product on sale on there website.They don’t mark it as out of stock. Then when you get there they don’t have it. As they try and push the one that’s twice the price. I even confirmed it was at the location before driving across the city.

Purchased 2x fat tire bikes. They charged $50 per bike to “assemble and safety test” as well as add 3 month’s warranty. When the bikes were finally ready a few days later, they were not assembled properly at all. Handle bars were not tight, and the brakes were engaged. No possible way they were “tested for safety”. Brought it up to the staff at the store who pretty much ignored us and said we have to contact the claims department. Contacted the claims department and what a joke! No help whatsoever and refused to refund the $100. Basically they told us to go away. No 3 month extra warranty either. Buyer beware! These bikes were completely unsafe and put together incorrectly. Had to pay to have a professional do it properly and they refuse to acknowledge us whatsoever. Worst customer service ever. We won’t be back.

This place is awful. They don't give a rats patuber about their customers and if products break or are missing parts good luck with getting satisfaction. Also they have ridiculously cheap items like the "NEW 12L PROPANE HOT WATER HEATER CAMPING S3073" but don't have the stock or never had the stock and never will have the stock. I called in September 2022 to inquire but where out of stock and said they would get more stock within a couple weeks. I called at least a dozen times over a 6 month period and always got the same reply. So this nothing more than a scam to get people into their goofy store. I told the last guy that they were crooks for listing something with no stock let alone put "out of stock" on the website like a real store that cares so customers don't need to waste their time nor the stores. Bad Chinese business practice and should be shut down. Unfortunately our so called Better Business Bureau's in this country have no teeth and they are still in business.

I did enjoy the 5 star review of the person that indicated 'how helpful they were to get the product out to my car'...trust me, the quicker they dump the garbage in your vehicle, the happier they are, too!

Back in April I bought a twin bed frame and within an hour I found out it has a missing part to the bed frame. I could not do an exchange or refund on this. Emailed the claim department and still waiting for the part now.

Wanted to get some product information. Other than the item description. Sales people directed me to their service department.. via email. 3-5 day response time I have yet to get a reply back. Called the store asking to talk to someone else and they were unwilling and got the reply of this is what we got. Don’t buy it your choice.. a simple question of warranty and replacement part availability was all I was after. Don’t worry about me ever shopping there. I will take the extra effort to let everyone know how you treat your customers.

Purchased a bike and when I got it home noticed the frame was bent. Took it back to the store to exchange it and they told me I had to go through their warranty department.
I emailed all the pictures they wanted and have been ignored for over a year now!! Possibly the worst customer service I have ever seen!!
Stay away from this place

They sell 24" 'FATBOY TOOL BOX" but they put 18" drawer slides on a 24" tool box. If can't find something in your garage it's in the back 6" of the tool box. Won't buy anything from them again.

I purchased a gaming chair at the north Battleford store before Christmas it was supposed to be green it wasn't it was red anyway after Christmas unpack it out of the box the Hardwear was in a sandwich baggie and one of the wheels were broken off and had some sort of glue on it so I immediately contacted them through their claims website let them know what was going on sent me a picture of the receipt they asked for pictures of the chair and a broken wheel I sent it to them now it's been almost 2 weeks I haven't heard from them I left them a few emails they haven't replied the sales receipt does say no exchanges no returns I spent $144 on this thing with a broken wheel hardware and a sandwich baggie and now the company that sold to me is not getting back to me so what the hell if you're going to sell junk you should at least price it as junk.so how are companies allowed to run like this this is horrible no accountability for anything they sell a product and that's it cost me a lot of money now I have junk I'm going to hit every review site I can go on social media instead of at least have gotten a hold of me
