Untrustworthy Company - Do not recommend

When I first learned about UpChoose and the concept behind their business model, I was so very excited at the prospect of a sustainable clothing choice for my firstborn child. In fact, I was so excited that I told everyone I knew about this company. The consistently positive online reviews surely wouldn't lie, I thought.

One of our family members even gave us an e-gift card with UpChoose, and my spouse and I were looking forward to starting our subscription with them at the end of February.

Unfortunately, my experience with them in terms of customer service interaction since April of this year has been disappointing, to say the least.

Placing and receiving my second order had already been difficult due to a lack of responsiveness for over two weeks and resulted in a delayed delivery. While, per my request, their team promised to refund part of the subscription credit to make up for the delay, they have continued to charge full monthly fees to my account instead.

Since the month of May, I have reached out to UpChoose repeatedly - via the messenger platform, text and email - but I have yet to receive a response to any of them. In fact, I requested the immediate cancellation of my subscription on Jun 14. However, I have yet again received no response and was charged with a full monthly fee once more.

I find it tremendously sad and irresponsible how UpChoose treats their customers and it is disappointing that this company is using the provision of essential clothing for infants and toddlers to seemingly advance their financial gain. Even worse, loving gestures of family members and friends such as e-gift cards to celebrate the arrival of new life have been wrapped up in this untrustworthy operation.

Their website states "Skip stress. Reduce waste." I can honestly say that this has been the worst customer service experience I have ever had.

Disappointed…

I was very excited to order from this company. When I had to postpone my first shipment, they responded within a few days with great customer service. Now that I’m trying to receive said shipment, I have been waiting for 3 weeks on a response. I’ve tried emailing, concierge messaging, and Instagram DMing. Have they gone out of business? I was so excited for the sustainability of this model. I think I will have to cancel

Horrific Customer Service

AVOID. One of the worst customer service experience I've EVER had. I attempted to contact Upchoose to cancel my subscription and had to wait 30 days to get a return label. Also, even though my clothes were returned on April 27, I was still charged for a renewal on May 7. I'm having to go through a credit card dispute due to their utter and complete lack of response to 5+ emails.

Significant Customer Service Changes

I was a happy customer for about 2 years (late 2022-mid-2025). Truly, I raved about the company and service to anyone that would listen. Then as we started preparing for a second subscription for our second child and our oldest moved into a bigger size, the communication started slowing down time wise with their concierge text message line. It took weeks to figure out how to set up a second subscription with multiple glitches on their website. While all of our concerns and issues have been resolved eventually, the longest time before a response was 2 weeks when waiting to hear about a refund for a return set that were charged for days after the return shipment had arrived to them. Right now, we are waiting to hear when our next set for our youngest will be shipped when the delivery date was scheduled for last week and going on a week of no response from my first communication to them about this. I am strongly considering cancelling overall, which would be very disappointing and frustrating as part of why I loved the service was the time savings not having to shop for each size of clothing, in addition to the sustainability pros. The clothes are great when they arrive; I've always gotten the preloved track. They need to be transparent with their customers instead of their website and more acting like they still have the same level of service as they did previously. 3 stars because a 5-star service is more like 2 stars now.

Over a month late on my subscription

Over a month late on my subscription - my baby out grew his clothes long ago leaving us in a bind. Trying to be sustainable then having to go out shopping to keep him clothed. Customer service stopped responding to me, but of course I kept getting charged. The website is buggy and rarely works. Also overpriced vs. their competitors. I'm trying to get the too - small items back to them but cant get in touch. If anyone has a number to reach them please let me know. Wish I had a better review to write... something really off about them.

One orthe worst subscription experience I've ever had

the clothes I received were not the quality that I was expecting that is advertised on their website. I further had issues receiving sets to my address and reached out to cancel where I was given roundabout questions and ultimately no resolution and was continued to be charged for a service that I am not using or receiving
