Used Wards for our House Sale / purchase as they were recommended to us.
The process was pretty straight forward and we were kept up to date with the progress and any problems.
Staff were professional, polite and helpful.

I was selling a house with a Trust involved which took 6-7 months.
During one conversation with Wards about the proceedure of the Trust I was told to "Stop asking questions for free" which I thought was both rude and not very productive.

The family have always used Wards onwards from their take over of the smaller Clevedon based Chesham company back in time, no issues encountered with the organisation and staff, office is conveniently situated within the town for visits (with street parking if needed) particularly regarding in more recent times Wills. E mail or postal contact is readily available, document copies can be stored and retained with costs included. Fees believed competitive but have not been looked at in depth in more recent years.

Made a will with a charity donation so no cost (though I still had to pay a property search fee, which I wasn’t aware of). The will process was very straightforward and I got some good advice. I did expect to maybe get a bound copy to keep myself, but just received a poor quality photocopy which was a little disappointing. However, I am glad that I have got my affairs more in order and this has given me peace of mind.
