Better than one of the other companies in this field
My son had a very bad experience with a different warranty company (E+++) and the engineering company (D++++) that was used. The complaint is still ongoing after 15 months! For this reason I continue to use WarrantyDirect. I have now been with this company since July of 2023 and their service response times, assistance when I had a problem and they did not balk or contest or drag their feet on two claims during this period of time. As a result I am happy to renew for another year. If there was anything negative to say is that, as a pensioner, I appreciate, car gets older, mileage gets more and therefore premium increases. I have no problem with that, but as a pensioner, it is a shame they could not offer a 50% upfront payment with 12 monthly Direct Debits for the balance. This would have helped my finances but, I have renewed the policy for another year.

This is the second time I have used this method to provide a warranty on a vehicle. Very competitive pricing and definitely worth it, especially with the rising costs of everything, peace of mind for me. I am a sole trader not a big earner so any unexpected cost to repair if anything happens is a big concern for me. Definitely worth it and obviously it goes towards my tax expenses.

I can’t really make a review on just taking a policy out. The time of a review will be in the case of needing to claim, which I hope I never have to do, but would hope at that point you would pay out and not find any of a thousand excuses not to honour the claim.

It was good to be able to actually speak to some body who guided us through the different types of cover.
The only issue that we had was that it took us a few e mails to finally obtain a phone number to speak to an agent, who answered all our questions.

Very Good at Taking Your Money -Not Good At Paying Out
You will find this company very slick and professional when setting up your policy and taking your money. But when I tried to claim I found incomprehensible bureaucracy and deliberate trip wires to stop you making a valid claim. Remember most of the reviews on this site are about how easy it is to set up a policy, not about getting paid. After 4 years with them and no claims to date, I found a well oiled machine set up to frustrate and block any claims. I just cancelled the policy.

Over the years I have had Warranty…
Over the years I have had Warranty Direct policies on various Fords. By using their website, I was able to obtain a quote which was £170 cheaper than Ford's own extended warranty quoted, this is great as Ford actually uses the same Warranty Direct underwriters. The quote seems to be based on the car's mileage at time of taking the policy out. So a low mileage is less risk, and a lower premium.
