Worst estate agents I have ever met or heard off. Very unprofessional both Cathy and Ellie, rude and misleading. All communication seized after we payed the deposit. My partner called Cathy a few times and she actually answered raising her voice,very annoyed that he dared to ask her to confirm a moving date. I am shocked at their behaviour and I am even more surprised that they’re still in business with such attitude towards customers.

Worst estate agent's I've ever had in my life time, after I moved out of the house I spend two days on repainting the walls and cleaning the property from top to the bottom and after this hard work to leave it as nice and clean as possible, they want to take all of my deposit... I do not advise anyone to go and rent anything through them!!! Been living just 2 years in that house and payed over 36k for the rent... hope everyone will see this and will avoid them. Still fighting for my deposit and trying to get as much as I can back.

It's a shame that 0 stars isn't an option. These letting agents are the worst of the worst. They won't pick up the phone, they won't return your calls, they won't respond if you have any problems at the property they are supposed to be managing!

We had several problems that they didn't respond to. They never provided us with a check-in inventory report, despite us chasing and calling for this and then of course on departure they want to charge us for a number of things that had been issues before we moved in, I've asked them to refer back to the check-in inventory that they are refusing to provide us and that we haven't signed and shock no response from them!

An electrical certificate was not provided which is now law (for tenancies beginning after 01/07/20), although we had several electricians turn up unannounced who said the letting agent had sent them but not told them what the problem was and of course we cannot get hold of the agent for them to tell us.

Our oven broke midway through the tenancy, we called several times and emailed about but were ignored and so lived months without an oven.

We had a powercut and found out we also had a house alarm that they did not provide us with the codes for. The alarm was going off for days and days, with no response from the agent for days. The codes they eventually gave us did not work.

We decided to move out of the property over a month early and bitterly carried on paying rent.

Of course when we told them we won't be renewing our tenancy, they contacted us straight away to arrange for new people to start viewing the house. They couldn't cope with turning off lights when they did the viewings, more costs at our expense and not theirs, very careless.

They clearly only care about getting their money and not dealing with actual problems. I feel sorry for the next tenants and anyone else who has the displeasure of dealing with them.

Impossible to get hold of. All I’d like to do is book a viewing on one of their properties. They do not return phone calls or get back to you when using their “book a viewing” link on their own website. 3 days , 7 messages left - nothing back. Absolutely shocking.

I have heard horror stories about dealing with estate agents and I was really worried, but everyone at Waterman House is brilliant. Ellie, Cathy and Carla are just fantastic. Highly recommended.

Estate agent that lies. They already accepted another offer for house. But keep lying to me that sellers haven’t made a decision. How hard is it to say the truth?

If they have accepted another offer, how do you know I don’t want to make a counter offer. Just logic.

They also never answer their Telephones.

Although individual staff working there were polite and tried to be helpful, there was significant sustained pressure to sign a new tenancy agreement that I was told I had to pay for, despite my wish to continue with the current rolling agreement. I feel like because I knew my rights I was able to hold my ground but someone more vulnerable would be taken advantage of. The landlord was unhelpful and preferred to fix things himself that use professionals. When the tenancy ended I had to engage in a 4 month battle to get my deposit back. As a tenant I would not go near this company again.

Elli at Watermans was brilliant. Professional photographs and great sales service for the £799. Could not fault a thing. She was easy to speak too and kept us well informed throughout the process.

Nikki is absolutely brilliant and knows what she is talking about! She came right on time for the initial valuation and answered any questions we had and we were then on the market within a few days. Had our first batch of viewings within the first week which Nikki led and gave great detail in what our property had to offer. We then got feedback from the viewings the same day. Unlike any ordinary Estate Agent, I have a direct number for Nikki which she stresses that I call or text at any time if i have a concern, this includes out of office hours and she does respond! Great service for a brilliant cost, I would highly recommend. Thank you Waterman House!

Great price to sell a home but doesn't seem to be inclusive of any sales progression. As soon as our property was sold I heard nothing from the agents at Waterman House - they were incredibly unresponsive and I couldn't ever speak to anyone unless I called all day long! Without a doubt the slow agents allowed our buyer to mess us around as both parties were completely left to their own devices bumbling along until completion. I would never recommend this company - the low price we paid was evident in the service we received.

Avoid this agency if you really want to sell your house!. Myself and my husband offered full asking price for a house with Waterman House which was accepted. From the start it was IMPOSSIBLE to get in touch with Staff member who was managing this sale process on the phone, often she never returned our calls at all. We were really keen to buy this property but after nearly 3 months of waiting for the seller to find a property and our calls and emails being ignored feeling completely left in the dark we starting looking around and found somewhere else instantly, under budget twice the size and in a nicer area and the new estate agent was brilliant. We were so close to waiting another 3 months for the seller but as the estate agent was impossible to deal with (our solicitor mirrored this feedback) we decided enough stress and to move on. 6 months later the seller of the house we nearly brought with Waterman House reduced their asking price but still had no offers so has moved to a new estate agent and still not sold. Moral of the story, if you are an estate agent and you have a great cash buyer, willing to wait for your seller to find somewhere offering full asking price in a difficult treat the buyer with some basic respect and return some of their emails and calls rather than just completely ignoring them. Sounds crazy that this actually happened and I have noticed online similar feedback online mirrors our experience with this particular staff member at Waterman House.

Excellent service sold our bungalow within 2 weeks could not ask for anymore highly recommended
