West Green Surgery NHS GP doctor | GP Haringey Avis 519

My appointment was scheduled for 9:00am. I called ahead to inform them I would be around 10 minutes late, and still arrived at 9:12am. Despite this, I was immediately told by reception that my appointment had been cancelled.
I asked if the doctor could still see me, and instead of a clear answer, I was made to wait over 10 minutes—only to then be told the doctor was “unable” to see me. During this time, the receptionist was eating snacks while speaking to me, which felt extremely unprofessional and disrespectful.
When I asked to speak to the manager, I was told they were not available. When I asked when they would be back, the response I received was simply: “I don’t know.” No effort to help, no accountability—just complete dismissal.
This is not the first issue I’ve had with this GP. Previously, a doctor filled out my medical report incorrectly, which resulted in me having to pay £145 twice. Because of their mistake, I then had to wait over 6 months for it to be corrected. This is completely unacceptable.
Overall, the service at West Green Road GP has been consistently poor—unprofessional staff, lack of care, and costly errors. I would not recommend this practice to anyone.

I had a really good experience with my GP. She listened properly to what I was saying and didn’t make me feel rushed. She asked the right questions and it felt like she actually understood what I was worried about. She was also really welcoming and easy to talk to, which made a big difference. I left feeling a lot more reassured.

There is a real issue with timekeeping with seeing this nurse. I was waiting for 50 minutes. Not ideal with a small baby in a space with other sick people and children. It’s not been a one off as well. Otherwise experience was fine but some more awareness around time and patients would be helpful. As a new mum I make a new effort to be punctual while working around my baby’s routine. 5/10 minutes delays are fine. 50 minutes is not.

Doctor sent feedback form to evaluate his performance. So one star because we have never spoken and they marked the appointment as completed.

Fantastic appointment with Dr Nasra Mohamed. She was incredibly caring, helpful, knowledgeable and walked me through my symptoms and provided remedies. Felt seen and heard and appreciated her support.
