Made a order on Saturday for next day…

Made a order on Saturday for next day delivery they said it was dispatched Saturday which means it was due to be delivered on Monday when I called Monday they said royal mails tracking was playing up well it’s now Tuesday and Royal Mail have only just received the order.

When I called they said they would refund the next day delivery as I ordered next day means I needed it next day

If you want next day don’t pay for next day delivery as this doesn’t happen and they forget to send your order out but claim they have already dispatched it !!!!!!!!

I ordered several items and paid £7…

VI ordered several items and paid £7 postage next day. Was all good but the wheels with tires after Gluing them ripped in two places within 2 minutes of run time on grass in the park.
I contacted customer services with pictures and was told I had crashed the buggy so was my fault and they could see cracks in the wheel where I had hit something.
I explained it was not cracked it was glue.
It was passed to management where I was told again it was scuffs on the wheels. IT IS GLUE.
WILL NOT BE USING AGAIN. the isle of wight rc club agree with me customer services is shocking and rude. Steer clear

Hi Kai,

The images you sent in clearly show scuff several large scuff marks up the side of the wheels - those big black marks, they are not "glue" - they are kerb damage. These are a cheap and cheerful set of tyres you are running on what looks to be a reasonably high powered 1:8 buggy. If you want something better, I'm afraid you will need to buy a better set of tyres, and importantly - not drive into kerbs and expect the tyres to last.

We might have looked at doing a small discount if you had approached this in a more kind or at least more truthful manner - but we are a good, honest shop run by a hard working team and I am sorry but we do not take kindly to threats of "sort it or I'll leave a bad review".

As you have now decided to leave your bad review I feel there's little more point continuing this discussion. Best of luck finding a new store that may be better suited to your demands.

I shall reply to the review and include the photographs you sent in.

Thanks for your review.

As you can see from our response you have kindly posted, we do not take kindly to threats of "sort this out or I'll leave a bad review".

As I mentioned, we are a good, honest shop run by a hard working team and are more than happy to help customers with genuine issues - or at least those who treat our team with respect when they do have an issue.

The photos you sent in are attached below, and clearly show signs of impact. These are the cheapest wheel and tyre combo we sell. They are a good value, basic set - and will work fine, but no - they will not stand up to hard abuse and impact.

Here is the photo you sent in - there are scuff marks all around this rim, I would suggest one might feel a bit silly after seeing these...

I'm sorry you feel this is unreasonable, but wish you the best of luck in finding a retailer who will perhaps be more responsive to your threatening language.

Great dealer

Great but usually my second choice, I usually get parts from a different place but sometimes some essential parts are out of stock there and so I order from here instead, Not really much to complain about fairly quick shipping and delivery and lots of stuff to buy

Used wheelspin a few times now and always had good service, they have delivered on time and I have collected also, they price matched items and made good on it with no problem at all. Will use again without hesitation. I was served by Ben and was very helpful. Even helped me take the stuff to my car!!

Wheelspin have had my car for nearly 2…

Wheelspin have had my car for nearly 2 months now in for a repair.

They didn't write any details down unlike the 1st person I spoke was doing apparently and they said post it in.

I checked 2-3 weeks later and they said they havent looked at it due to having know details.

I checked a week or so after giving details and the excuse this time was they were struggling with time.

Its now the 30th/12 another 2 weeks later and ive had no contact other than a reply to an email ive just sent saying they wont look at any cars until the new year as they are too busy again......... really bad service. Obviously more concerned over new sales than any after service.

I have a very upset son now and im really annoyed.

All we need is the car fixed and returned within a reasonable time frame which is long overdue now.

Hopefully they start sorting it very quickly.

Careful buying as the afterservice looks like itll be poor for you.

Hi James, I have decided to investigate this matter myself, as we take great pride in our high standards of customer service. When someone is unhappy with those standards, I take it seriously and aim to resolve it as quickly as possible.

I have reviewed all of your correspondence with us, including call recordings, and hopefully can shed some light on the issues you are experiencing.

You initially called on 1st November to enquire whether we could repair a crash-damaged vehicle. We immediately advised that, while this was possible, the store mechanic had recently left the business and, as a result, there was a longer-than-usual wait of around four weeks for diagnosis, particularly as the exact issue was unclear. During that call, we suggested bringing the car into store so we could take a quick look and, if it was a simple diagnosis, advise on parts and repairs to avoid the wait. As you were not local, you asked to post the car to us instead, which we confirmed was fine, provided it included a note with your details and any known issues.

Unfortunately, when the package arrived on 12th November, it contained no identifying information, just a boxed, damaged car. I understand you had spoken to a member of our team and felt we would recognise it on arrival; however as we handle hundreds of calls, emails, and messages daily, often regarding the same products. We cannot make assumptions, so the car was set aside until ownership could be identified.

You contacted us again on 1st December for an update, at which point we established that the vehicle was yours. During that call, once you had explained the suspected fault following a high-speed impact, the car was added to the repair log. Due to the extremely busy time of year, we advised again this would take longer than usual but we would try our best to take around three weeks for it to be inspected for diagnosis. You were also asked whether you wanted repairs to proceed regardless, or if you preferred a quote before any work was carried out.

You contacted us again on 12th December, when we confirmed the vehicle was still in the queue, with other repairs ahead of it.
Unfortunately, we then entered the Christmas holiday shutdown before the repair could be completed. While we prepare as best we can, this year was exceptionally busy. This is why, from the outset, we advised an estimated four-week diagnosis period.
Although your car arrived on 12th November, it was not bookable until your details were provided on 1st December, which meant the time estimate now included the holiday shutdown.
As a result, diagnosis was realistically expected for the first week of January.

We always do everything possible to complete work sooner, but delays can occur due to circumstances outside our control. This is why we provide estimated timeframes, not guarantees.

I also understand that when you contacted us on 30th December you were advised repairs would be carried out in the New Year. Unfortunately, due to enquiry volumes and the New Year shutdown, this could not be expedited.

I can only apologise that you feel these circumstances fall entirely on us and that the service has not met your expectations. Under normal operation, we aim to complete repairs much quicker.

I have ensured that, regardless of store busyness, your vehicle will be fully diagnosed by the end of this week, and you can expect a diagnosis and repair quote no later than tomorrow afternoon.

Again please accept our apologies on the delay.
