I booked an appointment through the website and Emily came and saw us on Saturday, she was well prepared, smart, articulate and knowledgeable and no point did we feel under pressure or uncomfortable the whole process was enjoyable

We recently worked with Wickes on a kitchen design and although we didn’t end up purchasing through Wickes in the end, we felt Shelley Grogan deserved a review for the outstanding service she provided throughout the whole process.
Shelley went above and beyond our expectations from start to finish. She was incredibly friendly, patient, knowledgeable and genuinely invested in helping us create the best possible kitchen for our home.
The design she produced was fantastic and included ideas and layout suggestions we hadn’t even considered ourselves, which really helped us visualise the space properly.
Nothing ever felt like too much trouble for her - she was always happy to answer questions, make amendments and offer honest advice without any pressure. Her communication was excellent throughout and she made what can often feel like a stressful process much easier and more enjoyable.
Even though we chose a different route in the end, the level of customer service Shelley provided absolutely stood out and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking at a kitchen or bathroom project. A real credit to Wickes.

No one turned up, I rang the branch to see where he was and they just said he’s probably running late and there’s no way to find out what time he’s going to turn up. As I’ve received an email thanking me for attending it doesn’t appear that he bothered to report not turning up! Not a great start!
There’s no option to add any more details. Also, I’m not sure what else I can add? No one turned up and the branch was incredibly unhelpful.

I was extremely stressed as I had been told to complete my kitchen, a wall unit was going to be delivered not before 6th May... using another Wickes store. BUT, I decided to telephone Boston Wickes, a member of staff EMMA, (superstar), went above and BEYOND, to help me. I now have a wall unit located after she telephoned around for me. This person obviously has great customer service skills and should be labelled OUTSTANDING.
Clearly, someone that most people need in times of stress.

Just had another easy trip to Wickes with their helpful staff, can't do enough for you. I was collecting 120 block paving bricks, they were quite far back under the shelving and packaged up so I asked for someone to cut the packaging. Dania came out, opened up the packaging but also grabbed a palletiser to pull the pallets forward so we didn't have to crouch under the shelving and then proceeded to pass the bricks out to is. This was all off her own back, she went above and beyond. Also, the bricks were on an amazing offer.

Very helpful when designing our bathroom. Very helpful up-to-date getting full payment. Full payment required before order accepted. Then the problems started.designer ordered wrong colour radiator. To correct I was expected to pay in full for the correct radiator. Took a week to receive credit for the wrong radiator. Today found out that at time of payment of the correct radiator it would be delivered 2/3 days which now has become 4 weeks!!! Shower tray defective due warped. Then found they had missed the waste fitting kit, would not supply until a further payment!!! 4 months later bathroom still not finished. Would not use Wickes again, totally disappointed with this company. Installer is first class but rather slow however as he does not have all the items ordered perhaps this is to be expected. As an aside the radiator from Wickes was £481.00, same radiator (by make and colour) from B&Q is £115.20 and was delivered next-day.

We would just like to leave a highly recommended reveiw for the staff at Boston, I visited the store last week and with staff guidance was able to purchase all we needed and organise delivery. This was swift and id give them 10 out of 10. The staff member who was of great assistance I think was Will. Great service.

i visited the Boston branch of Wickes yesterday and the staff were incredibly kind and helpful.
I needed quite a few heavy bags of sand and some hessian bags, and they very kindly helped me by loading everything onto the trolley and brought it to my car and then placed it all in the boot for me with such patience and friendliness. Their kindness made my day and I am truly grateful 🙏
A small suggestion if I may; The car park entrance is very well hidden (I presume not intentionally but it was a real struggle to find the car park entrance) maybe a simple sign that can be seen from the main road would make it much easier for new customers to find it.
Once inside, though the service was absolutely wonderful, the staff truly are the real gem of this store.
One of the hessian bags had a medium size stitching fault on the side, but it was easy to tape and didn’t effect my positive experience all. The team’s kindness made my trip a wonderful experience. Thank you to the team for being so helpful and caring.

@ 17:45 - 24th March 2026 - The appalling attitude, rude, abrupt and no care service provided by the duty manager at BOSTON branch of Wickes has just cost Wickes Limited the lost revenue from a complete house renovation from the ground up and many more in the future. The service provided by the duty manager this evening was clearly that of someone that has a no care attitude and if was a representative of my business would be going home this evening not with a Pat on the back for exceptional service but her P45 as she clearly has no interest in portraying a good reputation on behalf of Wickes Limited - then on other hand, had I have asked her to pop out to the car park for another cigarette during working hours I'm sure she would have obliged - this probably explains why the everyday building essentials AREN'T readily available on the shelf's at Wickes Boston. Unfortunately with the world of Social Media - bad news flows quicker than good. Please pass on my continued thanks to Will and thank him for the excellent service he always provided in the past as per my previous glowing feedback. Hopefully, Will can be promoted and become her replacement.

Magda was especially helpful and I’m thankful that she took the time to find a solution to the paint situation. Only 3 x5l tins left but the deal was 2 for £44 or £28 each? I wanted x4 but only 3 in stock, I couldn’t pay for x4 and collect at a later date as the my couldn’t order any unless it was out of stock? She offered to sell me x2 of the 2.5l tins at the same 5l deal to make my x4 cans. Saving me atleast £12. So thank you Magda. People appreciate this. I appreciate you 😁

Went to the Boston Lincolnshire store to get some topsoil. Asked about some ripped/broken bags of soil placed nearby and a kind member of staff said we could have them for a small donation to their charity box. Excellent customer service.

After an underwhelming appointment at B&q that made me feel unexcited we had an appointment with Shelley at Wickes. Shelley came to our home to measure the bathroom, she is friendly, approachable, and gave some great advice. She supported us to pick a bathroom we fell in love with and we left feeling excited. She listened to our needs and we led with the appointment with what we wanted alongside her help.
