Seems scandalous that Cardiff local authority have tied every school in the county up with purchasing uniform from this outlet. The uniform is appalling quality - cheap and poorly made. I’d be interested in knowing more about where items are sourced from and how much workers are paid. The pricing is entirely reflective of a company who knows they can charge what they like because you can’t go elsewhere. Customer service is also severely lacking - mostly teenagers, some of whom are trying their best, but others who need a lesson in basic manners.

Whitchurch shop - I wish we all weren’t obliged to deal with this shop for uniform. Stock of sizes not available with a long lead time which is heavily drummed into you when you ask about sizes (of which sizing info is not online for many items even though staff insisted it was). So you can forget about ordering ahead because it won’t fit. Also really expensive for what it is. See-through PE shorts for girls! Nice!
Apologies for the people waiting in the Q behind me but I dared to question a deal running for a PE top and shorts and were told we weren’t allowed this because we had bought one online and one in the shop (I’m sorry but same shop! I I was also advised to do this two days ago by staff because of a lack of sizes). My ‘customer rights’ Karen-ness went off and the did agree. Also sign said £25 for a PE top but apparently actually £28 ‘this summer’??? What? I didn’t back down on that either. Yes I know it’s only 3 quid but come on! The manager then had to ring YC headquarters or something to get the authorisation to agree to honour their signage for me. I wouldn’t have bothered being so stubborn but my daughter insisted! 13 and even she was willing to risk embarrassment to avoid being done over. I think this place has an absolute monopoly over North Cardiff. One staff member always sat on the computer is rude to other staff and customers alike - we are all a nuisance to her. She was pretty aggressive after I questioned the crappy ‘deal’. To the point I had to ask if she was honestly ok. She needs firing. The other kids that work under that girl are great. Happy to help and find sizes out back.
And I still think the actual head honcho manager tries her best and did eventually sort us out after a call to god-knows who but this place is overwhelmed and the quality of some of the items of uniform is quite poor. Thin material PE kits and jumpers always badly shrink first wash. Don’t get me started on the refund policy - beware! Only order anything online for refund or else you will have to get a credit note - I overheard this from another disgruntled customer - how 90’s is that! If I could shop without the need for school branding I just would. It’s such a racket

Unfortunately very poor customer service. I ordered two badminton shirts urgently required for my son for upcoming tournaments on the 20th June and after chasing twice (without a single reply) now just one of the shirts is on its way and due to arrive on 3rd July. Having to wait 2 weeks since payment and now only sending one of the items without any form of communication as to why this has happened is unacceptable. I have also ordered before and no items were in stock even though these were all displayed as in stock on their website... Won't be ordering from YC Sports again.

I bought a Yonex nanoflare 1000z , it is genuine. There was a slight delay because of stock, but they fixed it quickly and they gave me some extra grips

Went in the store in Crwys Road Cardiff today to take back 3 items, 2 p.e. tops & a fleece as my son has changed schools. They are brand new in their bags but the "wonderfull" owner tells me that he won't exchange them or give the money back as we haven't got the receipt & it would cause his purchasing schedule to be knocked out as he orders over 20,000 items a year! lol! How he kept a straight face while telling me this I do not know. Do not use this company !!

Order my son a jumper a week ago size 12 -13 years the lady explained to me that at that size it is classed as a size small mens I said thats fine went to pick it up was wrong size was size 11-12 years not what I ordered at all & because I had his name put on it they wouldnt give me a refund or a jumper there attitude in there was disgusting not a good way to treat customers at all not very happy they told me to just go buy another jumper I dont see why I have to it was not my mistake now my son hasnt got a jumper for school thanks to them I didnt even get an apology from the staff they were very rude & need to be customer service trained it is total carnage in there they repeat your order back to you & yet still get it all wrong !!!

Ordered two tubes of babolat balls on Amazon and paid, the next day my order was cancelled by them and they said they will refund in 5 days.
