YW chemically laced poison 'water' is designed to KILL
Dated 24.03.26 recevied on 28.03.26 i received YW quarterly invoice, stating their annual hike is 8% ie 3% above the rate of inflation; a disgrace yet our Dystopian style regime government allow it for they are as corrupt.
They enclose a leaflet 'our biggest ever investment is underway - improving our services to you and doing right by the environment'
First of all, as with numerous other wter companies, they don't give two bleeping hoots about Ordinary Joe; their 'water' is laced with toxic, chemical poison which is deliberately designed to poison your system.
Ask your 'water' provider for a water analysis and read with horror the chemical cocktail which on a daily basis you drink, wash yourself, your clothes etc etc.
Secondly ask them to confirm the what the water pipe material. Another local area water pipes are asbestos lined, which they allege is safe so long as it remains wet!!!
YW, like all other service providers mask their deliberate lies via a marketing department.
YW marketing literature is, to the uninitiated, persuasive, but it's all hype, hype, hype. Countless times, they utterly fail to deal with leaking pipes and for hours, water splutters out.
The only people their interested in are their shareholders, who must receive money and bleep to Ordinary Joe.
From April, the daily cost of having available water, which is chemically laced poison, shall cost £1 which is an utter, utter disgrace.
Oh, there is NO such thing as, what's the government's latest phrase, 'climate change', 'global warming'? Whatever they allege, it's utter lies.
Look up to the sky and you'll often see white criss cross lines; they are NOT commercial flight vapour trails.
Those white lines are from planes that deliberately emit into the atmosphere toxic chemical poison which then remains airborne (USA have various patents on this technology). The poison lingers and eventually lands on you, me, the waters, the land and on anything and everything.
People are waking up to what's going on, yet not at a sufficiently quick enough rate.

Had water meter installed as being…
Had water meter installed as being charged almost £70 a month which is a lot for 2 pensioners. After 1 year told they estimate usage goes from 75 cubic metres to 81 metres so increased payments by 50%. My maths not as good as theirs. Tried to add property to online account but name as entered not recognised although everything about the property was. Turned out when asked name forgot to enter Mr. Mr is a title not a name. Morons. Typical UK IT department.
I realise Directors bonuses, Government fines and shareholders dividends have to be paid for by customers but I think we as a couple of pensioners are paying too much.

Customer service as it should be, from a lady who was polite, gave me time to explain and listened to my questions.
I had to queue a little, but the phone was answered in the time given. At no time did I feel rushed, even when I asked further questions. She even suggested how to improve the frequency of accurate meter readings. I came off the call knowing my request had been actioned, and I had the right solution for me. All too often we are ready to complain. I thought it was time to compliment the lady and Yorkshire Water on a job well done

The customer service on the phone is friendly and helpful. I would rather lower water rates, public utilities should be owned by the users and citizens and not for profit. This was the initial idea behind privatisation. Now utilities are owned by foreign conglomerates whose interest is solely profit.
