The team recruits across a broad range of consumer-facing sectors, including Fashion, Sportswear, Footwear, Luxury, Beauty & Wellness, Home & Interiors, Garden & Leisure, Automotive, Food & FMCG, Pets, Self Storage, Travel, and Hospitality, spanning both store-based and head office roles, with offices in Cheshire (Head Office), Birmingham, London, Scotland, and Northern Ireland & ROI...... The business started in 2012, when two men and a dog (quite literally) saw an opportunity to build a different kind of recruitment consultancy, one that put relationships ahead of transactions. They listened more than they talked, worked with urgency, and always did what they said they would. It struck a chord, and the business hasn't stopped growing since. Today, the team brings over 150 years of combined recruitment experience, and has worked with names including Selfridges, Boots, Frasers Group, and Giorgio Armani. Its executive search division, ZD Search, handles senior and board-level appointments. Zachary Daniels believes changing jobs is life-changing stuff, and is proudly employee owned, with co-founders Danny Monfea and Zac Clements placing the company into an Employee Ownership Trust.

Don’t bother

Applied for a role, had a call with a recruiter to register my details then 8 months later still nothing. Even after applying for multiple roles … a recruiter making money from the employer not interested in the applicant

Giving Recruitment Agencies a Bad Name.

They approach me for a role. I decline. I later see a role advertised, I apply. They don't reply. Companies like this give the whole industry a bad name. They are not alone, but they are just about the worst example of Recruitment thinking they are more important than their clients or candidates. I sent an email asking why they don't reply to emails.... guess what? They didn't reply. The problem is that I am unlikely to approach any agencies now, as my suspicions that they are a redundant concept were confirmed with my appalling experience with Zachary Daniels.

I was contacted regarding a job I had…

I was contacted regarding a job I had applied for and I was asked to go for an interview nearly 30 miles away from where I lived. I was constantly contacted beforehand from Zachary Daniels asking various questions. They started with all the enthusiasm and then didn't even have the professionalism to contact me afterwards with any feedback back about the interview.
Unprofessional.
