I just wanted to commend all the staff at Zental High Barnet for their wonderful service. Izzy and Cat who offer a friendly warm welcome at reception and my dentist Chiara who is lovely, patient and very knowledgeable. She answered all my questions perfectly. I instantly feel at ease with her. She's brilliant can't thank her enough!

3 implants gone a little wrong …

I had 3 implants and paid over £9k for something I’ve never been completely satisfied with .
I told Zental I had chosen them because they were close and I was worried about the procedure and not having a dentist nearby .
Day of procedure they told me they would be closed that weekend . Thankfully I didnt need the help
My surgeon was incredible but after checking up on the implants after surgery he announced he was leaving.
So , half the work done and new surgeon arrived to do the second half .
I wasn’t happy with the work . I had to go back three time to have the crown filed down to ease the pressure .
I said I wanted them remade as they were far too tight . I felt ignored. The day after the crown were fitted I had to go back because of the pressure . A different dentist literally twisted a neighbouring tooth to try clear that up .
I was told each time my gums had receded, they even receded more in three weeks once. Didn’t help .
My gum line at the front was destroyed , I try not to fully smile .
My crowns were delayed , causing me a huge amount of stress with shifting work around to suite the dentist
I paid a most of it upfront and I once that was done I felt the care aspect dropped off .
I never even met the second surgeon until he was slicing up my gums to get the implants out again .
It’s not completely bad but it’s my mouth and after paying a lot I’m not entirely happy, I have a mild pain at times in one tooth .
I’ve not gone back up as I really don’t want to be told I am the problem again and be ignored when I say something is wrong.
On one occasion the dentist was 15 mins late . Strolled in , chatting to staff on the way and then another 10 mins till I was called . I was the first appointment for a reason .
Overall , it started great , but it wasn’t sustained and I won’t go back now .

Zental Barnet disappointing

Zental Barnet has an atmosphere which reflects their stated aim of being holistic and the hygienist care was satisfactory but, although the dentist answered all my questions with accuracy - the long term quality and skill of filling not clear yet - she was worryingly nonchalant about any dental health emergency. Two of the receptionists - one being the senior one- belied their interest in caring only ultimately about the money they were making off me as a patient, not at all about care. The dental assistants were also below standard, one being impatient and lacking care with a nervous patient and the other lacking best skill. Unfortunately, this lack of professionalism is tolerated and allowed, so disappointed overall.

Zental . I cannot thank Zental enough.From original 4 on 4 replacement to aftercare. Friendly and polite recionist and Dentists who know what they are doing.A big thank you
