Visited in Summer 2022 - wonderful team.
Visited in August 2022 - despite it being very busy the team were wonderful, and very helpful towards our party (including neuro diverse children). When waiting for launch, the team even yelled "two" in welsh extra loud for one of our party, and checked another who was so excited he was positively vibrating in his harness. Definitely recommended.

Corporate money grabbing, wouldn’t do again but is a unique experience.
The staff were all really friendly and funny and we had a good time.
However the corporate money grabbing is quite disgusting. I wasn’t allowed to use my own go pro and would have to pay £15 to use their cameras. The excuse was if it was damaged it wouldn’t be covered in their insurance. I pointed out I had to sign a waiver to do the zip wire so I would happily sign another one accepting responsibility for any damage caused to the camera. It seems they have a contract with REVL, who must require exclusive video rights , hence why individual cameras are not allowed. I would have appreciated being told the truth rather than a corporate excuse. Looking into this video service; the video is only available for 30 days and many reviews claim that the cameras are not checked preflight and so you could end up finishing with a faulty camera and no footage.
Throughout the experience, advertisements are everywhere. Wether it’s infomercials playing on repeat in the centre, merchandise, 2nd go offers… all interactions with staff are like your on a conveyer belt, move onto the next person as quickly as possible without engaging which adds to the feeling of it being a money making scheme rather than a personal experience you won’t forget. It detracts from the experience you’ve paid for which is already expensive enough.
After chatting to the staff, we got a glimpse of how busy they are. In summer up to 700 people per day can do velocity2. That’s £70,000 per day turnover. My feedback would be to re assess their core values, move towards customer satisfaction and away from rinsing people. People want to remember the experience so encourage videoing. What you’ll lose in video add ons you’ll make up for in influenced sales.

Appalling, simply appalling.
Before I start, the ACTUAL zip line experience is great, unfortunately that is it, although I have to say the people that meet you and look after you are great.
Ok, there is a HUGE However. Their BOOKING team are simply appalling, arrogant ignorant and do NOT have clue about CUSTOMER service. They completely messed up our booking blaming US. This was rectified after about 45 minutes delay whilst there and they apologised. However, we had paid for 4 headcams, which we were told the output would be e-mailed to us, well it wasn't, almost one FULL month after, we have had 2 of the 4 and the rest has been lost ?
To even get to this point has been painful, unhelpful arrogant and asking for the SAME information ALL the time, likely in order for you to simply give up trying.
We have got to the point where they have accepted they HAVE to refund us, yet saying we booked on a different e-mail although that was very EASY to disprove, even now they KEEP asking for the booking reference on an e-mail thread that has it ALL the way through.
It's not about the money, that footage was important to us, it's not really about losing the footage, it's about the appalling arrogance and unhelpful response from them that makes me dig my heels in :-( They are extremely poor at customer service.
Only one word for them USELESS, simply useless. Never again, it's really not worth the hassle.
Update :-
Simply based on your response, I think you have highlighted your true arrogance towards your customers.

Ignore the complainers, INCREDIBLE!!!
Anyone complaining about the wait times or ANYTHING need to get a GRIP!
What a truly amazing experience my partner and I had today, the staff are the loveliest people, I was so nervous with a phobia of heights, but wanted to make memories, and we certainly did that! There's a smaller zipline to get you into the swing, then you are taken in a lorry type vehicle with your group to the top of the mountain to take on the BIG zipline! Honestly, only 10 minutes of a ride if that so, ignore the complaining in these other comments. Every instructor and member of the team were incredible from start to finish, and made me feel very safe! I kept asking if I was secure and they made me laugh with jokes whilst reassuring me! A truly amazing experience, thank you all at Zipworld ❤️

Spoken to like scum
The zip itself was good what wasn’t good was the manner the staff spoke to me at the bottom of the big zip. After shouting grab the pole and put you legs down. He then un clipped me and walked off. I went to move away and he shouted “where are you going I’m trying to un clip you !” I don’t appreciate being spoken to like that by anyone let alone some little rat. It’s a good job I was in family company as he would have been picking slate out of his teeth til the ambulance turned up. Train you staff to be polite to the people paying their wages or keep the cocky little muppets away from the public.

My family and I booked in to do the velocity2 zip wire. Right from the start the staff were polite and informative. The equipment was all in great condition and safety taken really seriously. Absolutely fabulous experience and would do it again.

Treated my daughter
Treated my daughter, son in law and two grandchildren 9 and 11 years of age to a day at Zip World Llehwedd,
“Bounce Below” at 11-30 followed by “Titan 2” at 2pm.
Was extremely pleased and impressed with the whole experience,
A huge thank you to all the staff who were always keen to help and advise
Highly recommended will come again.
Only one small negative, both toilet facility units are very dated and showing signs of age.

I was terrified of doing Velocity 2 but…
I was terrified of doing Velocity 2 but from the moment we stepped into the tented area to get harnessed, I was impressed by the caring efficiency of the staff and their rigorous safety checks. I really felt secure and totally reassured from the onset which meant I was able to thoroughly enjoy the experience. I would highly recommend this as a must-do. It’s amazing!

Excellent fun the staff right across…
Excellent fun the staff right across the site from the car parking team to the activity staff were really pleasant and approachable and this made the experience even more fun and exciting. The slate mine tour was awesome and the zip lines are the ultimate thrill ride especially for me as I’m terrified of heights
But the staff made me feel at ease and in safe hands
The only negative is the head cam which was a total waste of money as we have had no footage sent through and from previous reviews it would seem we are very unlikely to receive any footage

Experience at Velocity and caverns was…
Experience at Velocity and caverns was good, we enjoyed the day however the headcam video of velocity was deleted after 30 days - its provided by a company called REVL which zipworld use. Their customer service is good enough but Zip World need to make it much clearer we lose the footage after that time.

I keep coming back every year
I keep coming back every year to try different experiences.. love how you guys have helped bring jobs and tourism back to sone of the mining villages. Your staff are always friendly, helpful and well trained. Loved the big guy that did our quarry tour on way up to Titan.. funny and informative. Keep up the great work guys

Good fun but some better signage please...
Whilst we had a fun time doing the underground golf at Zip World we were a bit frustrated by the lack of information when we arrived about checking in and getting to our session on time.
We arrived in good time and thought that having completed the on-line booking and payment we would go straight to the attraction. However after some wandering about it became clear that the enormous queue was for everyone to check-in so by the time this was done we were 20 minutes late for our session.
The happy ending is that we had out underground golf a little late and staff were hugely friendly and helpful.
Perhaps some extra signage to ensure that everyone checks-in first would have made things clearer.
Finally - make sure you make a last minute trip to the loo before going underground. There are no toilets below ground and 1.5 - 2 hours of golf in a cold mine with plenty of running water may be a little trying.

We had a wonderful experience
We had a great experience, the children had a great time. A pleasant, exciting place for children and teenagers, outstanding service. Lots of patience and cheerfulness despite the busyness. We were in both places in Wales and both - we had a great time. We'll be back for sure. warmly recommended.

Great experience and wonderful staff
Myself and my wife and our kids (12 & 2 x 13yrs) visited zip world today. We first went to the forest and did the coaster through the forest. The staff were amazing and explained everything to us. We all really enjoyed it.
We then drove a short distance to the quarry to do the velocity 2 zip line. We were early and had some wonderful food in the restaurant upstairs. I would highly recommend go a little early than your booking and grab yourself something to eat or even plan to have it after your zip line adventure.
When it came to the actual zip line we all got suited and booted and had a detailed instructions from our instructors. You first do the mini zip line before the big one. Straight after I could see from my youngest the 12 yr old she was very uneasy and lo and behold when we got to the top she backed out. No matter what I said she was not budging and would not do it. This is when the staff got involved and they were brilliant and tried to convince her to do it. But she was not for the changing. At this stage my wife and other two kids were already at the bottom. Over the next hour so many staff came to her but still nothing. Thankfully after an hour at the top she eventually did it and she loved it.
I have to say one thing there was one staff member Jay I believe was his name and he went well above his job with her chatting to her and made her so at ease. He actually drove down to my wife at the bottom to explain what was going on and then said he would go back up to try again and if that did not work he would bring her down and then me back up again. He was so good to her and even came down to meet her at the bottom.
I as a father can not praise him enough and he made one little girl so so happy. I will be eternally grateful.
So top marks 10 stars ️ to all the staff and The experience as a whole was a great day out. I highly recommend it to everyone

Enjoyable but disorganised.
Booked my 3 grandchildren on tree hopper. To be honest, it started well and seemed well organised. The instructor asked the more confident to go first and my three were at the front. They were told they could go round as many times as they could in their allotted hour. Unfortunately, their experience was marred by a series of incidents which occurred from the group in front, which in my opinion could have been managed far better.
1. A very young child spent 30 mins crying and screaming they didn’t want to go across the first zip line. It was then decided to take him off so everyone had to go back down to get him off.
2. A second child spent 20 mins doing the same thing and was taken off in the same way. My three have now waited 50 mins.
Finally they get started off and enjoyed it until they got to the second course and crossed the first zip line.
3. The second child from incident 2 has been put on the second course and refuses again. After some 25 mins the staff execute a rescue operation and take the child off.
Finally, they’re on their way again and do they completed the course once with no time left to go again.
To be constructive I would make the following suggestions;
If a child doesn’t want to do the activity, give them some encouragement but NOT 30 mins! If a child fails the fist zip line, have some method of extracting the child easily rather than having to get everyone back off and that traumatised child having to follow their tracks back again. If a child fails to do the first zip line, don’t put them back on the second course and hold up the proceedings again!
On speaking to staff at check in, I was then told they’re only allowed once around the course, this is NOT what the children were told by the instructor. Please make clear the rules to all staff.
One minor point, please make clear that hot food is not served in the upstairs cafe as we parked and had to then walk down the hill to get hot food and back up. Difficult as my husband is disabled.
On the whole, my three enjoyed it but it most certainly could have been better organised.

Towercoaster in South Wales
ZipWorld Towercoaster in South Wales - 3 rides for £25 plus an overpriced £3.50 booking fee. If there are no queues, as when we went, it's all done and dusted in about 20 minutes. Let down as on the third run, if you start to catch up the kart in front, it slows your kart right down so the ride is pointless. They should have waited for a longer time before dispatching my kart after a granny and small child. At over £8 a ride, this is inexcusable and I wasn't offered a replacemnet ride and there was nobody in the queue.
I would constructively suggest 5 rides for your £25 would be reasonable value and maybe I'd consider doing it again. as it is, it's a firm no.

My review is in way of a personal message to Liam (deep mine tour guide). You may remember me as the chap who asked your name whilst queueing for the golf. My son has said that the deep mine tour was his favourite part of our whole holiday. You are obviously committed to making everyone's visit as enjoyable as possible. Very knowledgeable and it is evident that you take a lot of pride in your job. Whatever they're paying you, you deserve a raise!! Thankyou so much 😃😃

As a local it is great to have these amazing activities on my doorstep and has been a source of great fun for visiting friends and family. Whatever the weather there is always something to offer them.
Of course I take part too and have faced my fear of heights and had an awesome experience, a real adrenaline rush.
Easy to book online in person or by phone.
Plenty of parking.
Staff are great, friendly, and most importantly very safety conscious. A reassuring number of checks meant I felt in safe hands.
It is an expensive activity but in my view value for money when you consider the resources needed for a safe ride.
Have used the video option once and it was fine. Good to share with friends for bragging rights but not much footage specifically of us so haven't repeated but this a minor detail when compared with the amazing experience on the rides.
Lovely cafe at Velocity for those that couldn't face food till afterwards.
And of course the scenery is the real star. What a unique way to see it.
