It’s hard to properly rate insurance because you give them money and nothing happens and then it’s over. We have to have it by law. I guess the process of giving them money for nothing to then happen for 5 days went smoothly and was relatively easy to arrange. Nobody actually did anything, nothing actually happened. As far as one can rate such a thing it was ok.

Excellent service, getting cover is so fast using the app, great rates for 4 days cover on my daughter’s high spec X5 and we used Zixty Miles to do our bit for the environment 👍🏻

We take poor reviews very seriously however having reviewed this case we would like to confirm the following taking your points separately.
High prices - we strive to be competitive as our numerous reviews show. You also purchased 14 policies from us that is not what we would expect if you felt the prices were high?
Limited number of cars - We do look into multiple vehicles being covered as this can be an indication of fraudulent behaviour or motor trading. You contacted us a few days prior to cancel a policy to replace with another car. On checking the account we queried why you had insured 6 different vehicles with us (as well as quotes for other vehicles) and we asked if you were motor trading in the form of buying and selling cars. Your answer to this was yes. We advised that we would be unable to offer further cover and a block was placed on the account. You then stated that you didn't buy and sell and that you just said it. We confirmed we would not offer cover. You then attempted a new quote a few days after (using a different email address) and were declined. You contacted us to ask why and we confirmed you were blocked from further cover due to you having confirmed you buy and sell cars. You stated you only said this as we made you mad. We confirmed the block would remain in place and we would not offer further cover.
You stated you would then leave a bad review and tell all your friends and family.

I found a quote through Compare the Market, but when I visited the site it said "Sorry, not this time
Sorry - it looks like we can't offer you cover right now.

It would be preferable for the quote not to appear on comparison websites if it is not available.

We are disappointed to see a negative 1* review left for us. Zixty is a short-term insurance provider as clearly shown on our website. As part of our quote journey you have to select and confirm a duration you require from hourly ro 28 days. You selected 22 days and purchased on that basis.
As you say in your review you misunderstood which is out of our control. You contacted us via our live chat service where this was explained. As cover had not started we were able to cancel for you and returned £188.72 to you.
You accepted this was your error and thanked us for our help.
