no option for 0 star as they have with 2 handles to hold. Well done on rubbish repairs.. Had installation of ventilation fans and loft insulation. Was nearly here all night, had to kick them out. Over 9 hours to fit 3 fans that are really poor and unsafe with wires showing, mastic put over to hide the poor work. Fan too close to shower and with wiring routed on ceiling again to close to water. A death trap. i have a 3 year old here and now i have sleepless nights letting this cowboy team in. Called to say they recognise the unsafe work and would rectify and they deny arranging too meet up so didn't even turn up. WARNING Don't allow them in your house, your families safety will be at risk

They worked hard but I feel the…

They worked hard but I feel the communication could be better as to what to expect over the 2 days. They corrected bits that we asked for and ensured the house was left as found. Overall a good job.

Risked my daughters life

The majority of the work was okay, they kept to their promised times although started late due to van issues, the before element with information was lacking leaving us unaware of the full picture, and they spoke in a different language most of the time so it was hard to know if things were going to plan or not. The big problem I have though is that they installed an electric heater as a nice gesture, but after leaving I discovered they snuck two of the three wires under a preexisting plug already in the socket, leaving the earth loose outside and a rather dangerous electrical hazard in my daughters room for a 4 year old child to play with and no doubt electrocute herself to death. No surprise I'll be getting in tough with the governing body on the matter as my child's life was put at risk by their not so handy work. Fuming doesn't cut it!

They were really professional, did an amazing job and left everything clean and tidy after they finished. Highly recommend.

Zoa experience!!…

Wrote 1 star review for installation 7/7/23 under an Eco4 scheme. Since the 1 star review, I have had another boiler fitted 19/8/25, due to incorrect installation the boiler flooded. I called my insurance (boiler insurance) £95 calI out. He spotted why it had happened so insurance would not cover me. After repeated calls, which were not getting me anywhere, I got gas safe involved and simply certification (installation compliance) at the time Zoa did not hold a certificate, but the individual doing the work did. As Zoa are under the misconception their work is only guaranteed for the warranty period of the actual boiler and their work is not guaranteed, (which I don’t believe is the true)hence why gas safe etc were involved as Zoa were impossible to deal with, claiming I’m out of warranty.
The original boiler (fitted 7/7/23) flooded due to the condensate pipe being attached to the rain waste pipe that went to a french drain. This happened in heavy rain, it came up the pipe and flooded the boiler. The condensate pipe is ment to go in to a drain or have a separate pipe going in to the ground to stop this from happening.
Zoa tried to be crafty and send someone round to do the outside work, when I spoke with the engineer he was not made aware the boiler was flooded and didn’t have parts, so didn’t come. Then they sent out a local to me engineer to correct the work, I called him, he believed from Zoa it was just a correction to the outside, was not aware of damage to boiler either or that boiler was not working. That engineer called Baxi, for advice and a plan of action was put together. Baxi would fit parts as it was cheaper for Zoa that way, what ever parts needed £400. Then the engineer would correct the outside work.
Zoa then started to try and lie to Baxi to get a free repair as it was only 10 days out of warranty. So I then had them come under false pretences even though I disused with them what the issue was prior to the appointment. The Baxi engineer had a wasted journey and claimed they don’t do work to boilers that have been flooded due to the extent of parts could be endless. I got abuse off Zoa (Moin) for disclosing the truth. Then I got diagrams sent to me by Zoa of the Baxi manual, saying that the installation was done correctly, despite 2 gas safe engineers already stating the problem.
Fortunately gas safe were booked at the start of the process as it was I think a 3week wait. Anyway they came and stated the same as the other 2 engineers it was an installation issue and a few other things to be corrected. Report was put forward to Zoa.
Zoa then called and said they would repair the boiler (with two parts the psb board and fan) but if it went wrong after that it was up to me to pay repairs, or pay £300 ( they tried to get more but that’s the figure we agreed). Due to information off other engineers, we choose a new boiler. I found this very underhand as it was not my fault it was installed wrong and seeing it was done under the EC04 grant it’s a cheek me having to pay for the company’s mistakes. I was refused a receipt and paid.
Work done by two nice guys. Very professional compared to previous crew.
Then out of the blue I had a call from the engineer who fitted the boiler to come back on the 9/10/25. The call was very poor and I can not understand why. I waited in at time given no one turned up. In my last review I explained I had approx 10 failed appointments with no notice for grant work to be completed in 2023, so needless to say I was far from happy. As I have 2 dogs , my husband had to take time off to be here, so alot of these appointments have wasted his holiday time, for nothing.
I called Zoa who did not know nothing about it. One got angry saying after 2and a half years it’s not his responsibility, so obviously refering to original complaint.The company do not have a clue what’s going on.
I get a call shortly after saying the appointment was to take pictures of the work. Really??? I think he was really going to travel 3hrs for that. So again I’m calling Gas Safe in to inspect the work as I’m not convinced. If I was told it was for pictures I would have refused due to the inconvenience and I would have offered to take the pictures myself, as it’s not that hard to do.
This is lengthy but people really need to know, the problems with the actual scheme, how customers are dealt with by the firms doing the work. Read my last review on 7/7/25 of all the issues there.
Like others have commented there has recently been an influx of good reviews for this company but others have questioned if genuine. From what I have heard from all involved this is not unusual the lies or the service received. You are basically getting someone sub contracted by Zoa that are not vetted, it’s a lottery if the work is good or bad.
I was without hot water for 4-5 weeks, with personal circumstances this was very difficult.
