Avoid – extremely poor product and even worse customer service

I ordered an ottoman from Bedworld on 17 January and unfortunately the entire experience has been nothing but frustrating from start to finish.

The product arrived faulty and of very poor quality, with clear damage on delivery. I provided photos and videos, yet the process to resolve this was slow and difficult. Communication was poor throughout, and I was even asked at one point to leave the item outside in the rain for collection with covering, which was completely unreasonable.

After significant back-and-forth, the item was eventually collected. However, the issues didn’t end there.

I requested a refund, and I am now 16 days on from collection with no refund received, despite being told it would take approximately 5 days. I have contacted Bedworld multiple times and have simply been told to “check with my bank.” I have done so, and there is no record of any refund being issued.

At this stage, it feels like I am being fobbed off rather than helped.

Overall:
• Faulty product
• Poor quality
• Delayed and difficult returns process
• Ongoing issues with refund
• Very disappointing customer service

I would strongly advise others to think twice before ordering. This has been an unnecessarily stressful and time-consuming experience, and I am still owed my refund from the company.
