Avoid – extremely poor product and even worse customer service
I ordered an ottoman from Bedworld on 17 January and unfortunately the entire experience has been nothing but frustrating from start to finish.
The product arrived faulty and of very poor quality, with clear damage on delivery. I provided photos and videos, yet the process to resolve this was slow and difficult. Communication was poor throughout, and I was even asked at one point to leave the item outside in the rain for collection with covering, which was completely unreasonable.
After significant back-and-forth, the item was eventually collected. However, the issues didn’t end there.
I requested a refund, and I am now 16 days on from collection with no refund received, despite being told it would take approximately 5 days. I have contacted Bedworld multiple times and have simply been told to “check with my bank.” I have done so, and there is no record of any refund being issued.
At this stage, it feels like I am being fobbed off rather than helped.
Overall:
• Faulty product
• Poor quality
• Delayed and difficult returns process
• Ongoing issues with refund
• Very disappointing customer service
I would strongly advise others to think twice before ordering. This has been an unnecessarily stressful and time-consuming experience, and I am still owed my refund from the company.

The bed looks nothing the pictures.. we bought the single ottoman bed with their most expensive mattress option. The mattress is far too long for the bed and the frame barely comes above the pillow. Do not waste your money.
Don’t even get me started on the ignorant person who deliver it. Avoid at all cost

Just taken delivery of a mattress this evening and I'm so disappointed. I ordered the Joseph VIP 3000 series but what I recieved was nothing like it. The mattress i ordered was pillowtop and was nothing like it and definitely inferior quality. The delivery guy told me the best option was to hold on to it and I would have a better chance of getting a replacement? I'm disgusted to say the least. Trading standards will now be approached. Disgraceful to think I've been scammed. Other folk beware!

Orderd a ottoman with mattress, went over the time of delivery read the reviews and thought the worst, prepared to be disappointed. It came with an apology for the delay, the delivery man was very friendly and informative and the whole lot was perfect the assembly was very easy. Id definitely buy again,
Good quality & Positive experience
I purchased the Hatton Wing Ottoman Storage Bed with the headboard and mattress included. The delivery driver was far more helpful than previous reviews had led me to expect and assisted with bringing the items to the apartment. There appears to be a problem connecting the headboard to the base, but otherwise the product is great and the experience has been very positive.

We purchased a side opening ottoman bed for a small box bedroom. We were very skeptical after reading such mixed reviews but so happy we decided to order. The bed arrived slightly damaged from transit. We emailed the company with pictures as it was after business hours so couldn't ring. We received an email first thing the next morning with an apology and confirmation that a new bed would be delivered. The new bed arrived within 2 weeks straight to the door and they took the damaged bed away. We have found this company very easy to deal with and the bed is of excellent condition.
Ordered twice from BedWorld
Ordered twice from BedWorld. The first time I got my bed and was very happy with the quality of it and the service, and hence I then ordered a sofa- the experience turned out to be exactly the opposite- they didn't have the sofa I paid for and it was a long process of getting the refund, customer service did not pick up the phone and didn't respond to my emails. I got refunded eventually but I lost 3 weeks of my time.

Not good quality
Delivery driver was not friendly and didn't help my husband carry the base or mattress upstairs. The mattress sank and lost its shape within a few months. I emailed them and they said it's normal so that's that😒 we don't even have the bed two years and the base is falling apart. We are already looking for a new bed. It was a divan super king bed with mattress and cost about 700. I do not think this was a good quality product for the money I would not buy from them again.
Great mattress and service, but short delivery notice
I ordered the Joseph Pocket Spring Series 2000 Pillow Top Mattress on recommendation from my sister in their January sale, got a fantastic, comfortable mattress for practically nothing! I wasn’t available when it was due to arrive, but Beth in customer service couldn’t have been more helpful in organising a delivery note and the alternative contact person I provided, and was very kind. The driver was fantastic as well, very polite and efficient. Both very helpful, went out of their way to accommodate me and I am very grateful, so thank you to you both! Only small thing I would say is that it says on the website they try to narrow down the time of delivery as it’s an all day appointment, but I was only given 30 minutes notice and my sister wasn’t given any at all, just her delivery date — wasn’t an issue for us as my sister’s was delivered on a Sunday and I had someone available at home to receive it during the week, but just something to bear in mind if your delivery is during work hours or you live alone etc. However, I am delighted with my mattress and experience overall, would definitely recommend!
Bedworld - Mattress not same as image. Not Ortho, Not firm.
I ordered a mattress last June. When it arrived, it was sealed in plastic, so I didn’t notice anything unusual at first. Once I removed the plastic, I realized the mattress looked completely different from what was advertised. I contacted customer service immediately, but they told me that the images don’t have to match the actual product.
More concerning is that I later discovered the mattress does not meet its description at all. It is advertised as orthopaedic and firm, but it is neither. I only became fully aware of this when my son recently started complaining of back pain. After checking the mattress myself, I’m extremely disappointed.
I’ve reached out to customer service again, so I’m waiting to see how they respond. The mattress does come with a 2-year guarantee, which I hope they will honor.
Customer service not answering
Customer service not answering. We bought bed from this *****. They brought the wrong headboard and they said in 4, 5 days they will bring new correct one. They have been ignoring my emails , calls and messages since then. I'm reporting them to consumer rights as I m still in my 30 days timeline and item is not as described. Avoid this scammers.

Order mattress 23rd Dec. Today is 21Jan. Still waiting. An on-the-day delivery postponement last week, and a no-show on the rescheduled delivery day yesterday. No engagement from the company on requests for updates. Terrible customer service.
Bed was delivered with missing parts
Bed was delivered with missing parts, blamed supplier, blamed the weather. Eventually agreed to collect but demanded pictures of it before being collected, passed from one agent to another. Never received correct parts, never received assembly instructions. Awful company
Avoid this company like the plague
Avoid this company like the plague. Ordered a mattress with 10 day delivery after waiting a month i was told it was due to a storm. Finally got a delivery date and no word until 3 o'clock on the day when I finally got through to the phone number having tried for two hours. Customer service is non existing with this company. Mattress was dumped on my doorstep and the mattress disposable which I payed for wasn't done. Mattress looks nothing like the one I ordered and is terrible quality. Currently waiting on a refund and a date for them to collect this excuse of a mattress. My advice would be to stay away from this company!!!!
Great quality and no issues - Bed Frame only!
I ordered an ottoman bed frame & headboard only on 26/11/25 for delivery to Donegal. Came across the reviews on here after I had already placed the order and was panicking.
I received a call from a UK landline (beginning 004414 I think) and they confirmed the delivery date as 10/12/25 and said the driver would try to confirm a time on the day.
On the day I didn't receive any calls from the driver and at 3pm I called the customer service number and was in a queue for about 5 minutes and when I got through I explained that I had to collect my little girl from school and didn't want to miss the driver so the lady contacted the driver and then came back to me to say he would be with me in approx an hour and that I was the last delivery.
Driver arrived at 4:30pm.
The bed Frame is perfect, was easy to put together and the quality is excellent.
Awful quality mattresses
Warning: do not buy.
I purchased a mattress from Bed World Ireland in May 2025 and it became severely sunken and unfit for purpose within days of my 60kg daughter sleeping on it.
The replacement mattress of the same model, provided after much back and forth in November 2025, failed in exactly the same way within three days. After providing photos, I requested a refund, but Bed World refused, claiming their 60-day store policy overrides the Consumer Rights Act 2022.
Two failed mattresses, no refund, and a refusal to acknowledge statutory consumer rights. I have completely lost confidence in this product and this retailer and strongly warn other potential customers.

Bought a mattress end of November to be delivered to mid west Ireland, once two weeks past with no further update I emailed customer service eventually getting a reply that it would be delivered the following week between 7am-7pm, 3 weeks later then expected.The delivery driver did not arrive to my house until 21:30pm to then realise my mattress was not actually put into the van. The delivery driver could not give me a reason or update as to what happened or when it would be delivered. I tried ringing customer service multiple times the following day with no reply. Worst company I’ve ever dealt with.
