Annoyingly the thermostat gave up on…

Annoyingly the thermostat gave up on our integrated fridge freezer so we decided to buy a new appliance. Found a Fridgemaster at a great price on AO, chose and paid for a delivery date suitable for us and arranged for collection of old item too. We were able to track the order online and the driver arrived well within the time window. They put new appliance in our room of choice and removed the old one. I've bought from AO several times and we got the same great service again. Thank you!

Absolutely amazed with this!

Absolutely amazed with this! Ordered 12 piece jigsaw with picture both sides. In all honesty expected quite flimsy pieces and a small box - however pieces are large and rigid, perfect for a 3 year old, main pic on top of good sized box with both pics on underside of top. Chose standard delivery, I was notified when it was posted and it arrived exactly on date promised. Thank you very much!

Easy way to find & book a holiday BUT…

Easy way to find & book a holiday BUT if it asks if you want to 'add a bag's (eg for Ryanair flights) I suggest you don't as you can add a bag at a far lower price on the Ryanair site after you've booked. I've learned this the hard way as I have just paid £92 for a bag and could have got it for £40 on Ryanair if only I'd waited 🙄

You have absolutely no idea how fed up…

You have absolutely no idea how fed up I actually am. I requested final withdrawal of my small pension pot on 24 July, asking for the relevant forms to be emailed to me. Nothing for 2 weeks then had an email with a Risk Questionnaire attached but no email address to return it to (?) so resorted to the long wait on the phone to get it completed and again requested the withdrawal form to be sent via email. Nothing. After another long winded call on 21st August I eventually received the form via email which was sent to me by a helpful customer services agent whilst the phone call was ongoing. Completed and returned the same day. The following day (22nd August) an envelope dropped through the letterbox telling me that form I had requested was enclosed. It wasnt - just the covering letter! Sent another message via the portal on 1st Sept expressing my annoyance at still not receiving my funds and said that I would be making a formal complaint. Bearing in mind that this message wasnt actually a formal complaint, I then received an email on 5th September from 'Customer Resolution' acknowledging the formal complaint (that I hadn't actually made) and that they would seek to resolve the issue within 8 weeks. Logged back into the portal same day only to find that my policy is no longer viewable because it is marked as 'terminated'. Ooh, money imminent then?? NO. It's now the 7th Sept and after a call today have been told that the case has been given very high priority and that it should all be signed off today/tomorrow and the money released into my account. So when should I receive it?......another 5 working days from signing off (allegedly). Watch this space. Can't fault the help given by Customer Services agents on the phones, but the messages and responses from reviews that simply say 'we are sorry' etc etc are poor, very poor.
UPDATE: finally received money 13 days later (!!) on 20 Sept PLUS £200 compensation as my 'complaint' was upheld.

Really impressed

Really impressed - huge choice of chairs and found exactly what I wanted. Had a real phone call from the company offering me flexible delivery date (very rare these days) and chair arrived exactly as expected. And it's a fabulous chair too! Thank you very much

Not the service expected

Tracking number provided but didn't update so allowed 7 days before I contacted Pavers who were very helpful (and I would've given 5 stars here but....read on) and sourced a pair for me from another store which subsequently arrived. Faulty. Had clearly been tried on many times and were somewhat 'shop soiled'. Missing a 'coin' embellishment. Very disappointed and quite cross that someone thought it was OK to dispatch shoes in this condition. Needless to say, they have been returned. Awaiting refund

Would have given 5 stars but, bought black shelf brackets that had absolutely no packing or protection whatsoever and were clanking together in an oversized box. So....2 of them had chips and one was quite grazed

Rubbish communication from DFS re…

Rubbish communication from DFS re delivery. Given timeslot 7.24am to 10.24am.....no sofa. Rang at 11.30am to be told that timeslot was 11am to 2pm. So why didnt you give ME that information by updating me via text?? It eventually arrived at 4pm - most of the day completely wasted. I appreciate the logistics issues at the moment but come on, communication is key? On the upside, the sofa is fabulous!

Really pleased with fireplace suite

Really pleased with fireplace suite. First one arrived damaged as couriers delivered it upside down and clearly dropped it but Fireplace World replied to my email really quickly, sent a replacement and arranged collection of the damaged one. Couldn't be happier, and it was a great price too!

Fabulous tiles at the best price I could find. Kept informed of delivery but thought they could have been packaged a bit better. I only ordered 3 boxes - there was no protection at all around them, and the boxes themselves were quite broken. Amazed that there were no broken ones!
