Best check the fitting cost before ordering

Not about an actual order but the partner details. Looking to pick one and checked with them first about costs.
TL web said from £10 but the answer was extremely high and not acceptable, way way over £10.

Overall a good stay with comfy beds & good food

Service was good and the food was really nice.
Room 5 (as we had a dog) was clean and nicely decorated in simple way, no garish decor.
Tea coffee was there with fresh milk if required.
Some reviews were detrimental to the rooms but our room was fine. Yes, the bathroom was small but adequate for one person at a time. The rain shower was great, the only thing I would say about the bathroom that it needed another shelf as there was not much room to put two peoples wash items etc.
Note: If taking a dog, they only have one dog room. There's only the outside garden for them to run in as the Inn is on a corner of a busy junction with no footpaths to walk the dog. The room position was nice and quite with not much noise from the road. Over all a good stay.

I had an issue with the boost not working on my shower. The first service engineer did identified a possible flow issue. However the service engineer was not very customer focused and proceeded to tell me that we should not have a combination boiler in a 4 bed house, our plumber should not have fitted the shower as its not suitable etc etc, he did not check the flow with a flow gauge, he did even not get in the loft to check the processor and then told me he only has 15 minutes for the call!

So, I called Essex Water check the outside meter/stop cock to see if there was a problem there, they made some adjustments, but the flow was still slow and suggested that the house stop cock may not be fully opening. I then arranged for Homeserve come out to change the stop cock. But he could not turn it fully off, so he tried at the meter in the road but that also would not turn off, so he could not change the house stop cock.
I then had to get Essex Water back, who dug up the path in the street and changed the whole outside assembly.
I then recalled Homeserve who came and replaced the house stop cock (he could not check the flow as he did not have measure/gauge (although he tried to get one locally).

So next, a call to Aqualisa to come and check the shower again asking for a different service man this time which they duly confirmed.

That’s when Don turned up, polite, courteous and a friendly approach. Don took the time and made an effort to sort the problem. He changed the Processor in the loft which did improved the flow a little but unfortunately not enough for the boost to fire up.

The flow is okay for good shower though and Don explained that the boost is not a “pump” as one might expect. His advice and information was welcome.

His customer service skills and his whole approach was very good so overall I very pleases with his visit.

However, (nothing to do with Don) this flow issue is not something that is well represented by Aqualisa in their advertising of the product and I feel a little let down by that. The shower worked fine when first installed but if your areas pressure/flow drops somewhat then your where I am today. Maybe another manufacturer’s product would be better suited?

This review is for Consumer Care Advisor Sophie - EComms.
I had a difficult time getting a replacement part for my new RMB9048BL/SS - 90CM BUILT-IN 4/8 FUNCTIONS DOUBLE OVEN oven. Its good oven but getting a replacement shelf support was a 8 week nightmare. Their so called parts supplier just could not send me the correct part (4 times).
Sophie was very patient over the 15 emails of the details and eventually came through with a professional approach and I received the correct part.
Rangemaster need to look at their parts processes and suppliers which could make Sophie's job easier.

Two stars could be little high

Two stars could be little high. Bought a double oven through an online seller.
A simple part broke soon after delivery (lower oven r/h shelf support) It took ages to get any response even though the supplier have forwarded my emails.
Gave model number RMB9048BL/SS, serial number, copy of invoice which details the purchase.
Eventually they sent a part that was much to big and then asked for the details again as they could not find the part needed. I sent photos of the part that broke and the wrong part delivered and both side by side.
First contact/s by phone was end of last year with a run around of departments and phone numbers and emails since Jan 2. Today, 2 Feb they asked again for a photo of the wrong part! Goodness they don't know what they sent let alone the one needed.
Just a complete shambles and we are very worried if something major goes wrong. We will not buy again.

Not yet sorted and will update here soon. (hopefully)

Woodworm possible issue so 3 star as not yet resolved

3 star as issue not yet resolved. So just a heads up for those buying/bought furniture. The 15yr guarantee only applies from Feb 2023 not previous sales.
I bought some very nice Chantilly Warm White bedroom furniture 5 years ago. Very please with the purchase (one piece damaged but quickly replaced)
Now, the last few days my son said there's something living in the chest of draws, he could hear a shuffle/crunching sound. Upon investigation removed all the draws and found one of the rear corner post has swollen lines down the leg that are soft underneath. And yes occasionally you could hear movement. We think its some type of woodworm. They can stay dormant for 1 to 5 years so its 5 years and they have started to munch.
We have now removed the chest to the Garage to be safe and waiting for a response from Cotswold.
We had to wait for the order till the container arrived from China I think and am concerned the remaining units maybe infected.
There are no entry holes inside or out that we can see but pressing on one of the "lines" that raised the surface one collapse a bit into a tunnel.
As I mention only just informed Cotswold so waiting for a response.
My advice would to check your furniture for raised lines in the surface painted or otherwise, any holes in or out.
Very unsettling experience to have in your property. Hopefully removed to safer place.
Might need to cut the corner to see inside but the unit is not coming back in anyway, will wait for a positive response.

Update: Jessica has emailed and offered to replace the unit. So I am pleased with the Cotswold response and have excepted the offer. My opinion/faith of Cotswold has been restored and many thanks for the quick service.
