Do you want to get yourself a fragrance that’s going to get lots of attention and stands out from the crowd? Now we all know we love a Dior savage or a bleu de Chanel but it’s so common nowadays.

It was only a few years back I discovered Sunnamusk in Manchester Arndale and since buying my first bottle of abid ambre it’s been my number one fragrance choice for going out. The smells are genuinely beautiful, unique and long lasting, presentation from store to box is just rich and exciting every time I go back for more!!

Today I laid my hands on their 15 year anniversary box at £90 and the lady in store was kind enough to offer me an additional candle free of charge which I’m so excited to use.

If you’re a man or woman tempted to try sunnamusk whether it’s an online or instore buy you MUST BUY AMBER ROSE, my all time favourite and it gets me the most compliments!

I have bought from Essence Vault 2 years before and tried there Aventus creed but the smell seemed very cheap and way off the original creed unfortunately which was a shame as Mont Blanc Explorer is my personal favourite against Aventus and I was looking for a cheaper alternative to which this wasn’t it.

But after a friend from work ordered some I decided to give it another go, delivery was quick at a turnaround of 2 days and I ordered Halfeti, Ombré Leather and Rose Pr*ck which included a 30ml Savage too and here are my thoughts:

Savage: seems quite a way off the original but still smells nice, has a zesty smell but doesn’t have the same kick as the original, I’d say it smells synthetic as mist but on your skin after a couple of minutes it does absorb quite nicely

Tom Ford Rose Pr*ck (blurs for some reason): incredible, it’s almost identicsl from what I’ve smelt in the shops and I think the original Tom Ford is quite harsh but it’s a lovely fragrance and doesn’t come across as synthetic or alcoholic, smells great

Halfeti: quite a nice fresh smell, not sure how it compares to the real Halfeti as it was only recommended to me by a work colleague. But I like it

Ombré Leather: I have the real stuff and I love it, one of my favourites. But this one i think is the closest to the original out of the three I bought, seriously the leather notes are spot on and have the same kick. It’s not as strong but I will say I’m very impressed with this one.

The fragrances are solid and last quite a number of hours before they fade but this is much more positive to the experience from previous. I have seen Tik tok and Reddit reviews saying the fragrances are very artificial and not accurate to some extent I do agree some fragrances are worse than others but if you are considering to lay your hands on your duty free favourites, chance it and buy them because they have a refund guarantee if you’re not happy with the quality. Great alternatives to the real thing

Great gym, good facilities, but wish the opening times were until midnight as I work till late myself and it’s difficult to be consistent and have longer sessions
