Poor communication and unresolved refund issue

I am very disappointed with the customer service from Wowcher.

I purchased a deal (Order #51XXX181), and the third-party merchant has already agreed to provide a refund. However, they have since stopped responding and no refund has been processed.

I contacted Wowcher via WhatsApp on 11th March to resolve this, but communication has now stopped despite following up.

As the merchant is unresponsive and Wowcher has not assisted, I am now escalating this through PayPal.

I would appreciate an urgent response from Wowcher to resolve this matter.

Edit (20 March 2026):
After posting this review, Wowcher has now contacted me and confirmed that a refund will be issued. While I appreciate the resolution, it’s disappointing that it required a public review to prompt action.

Poor Service and Breach of Trust

I purchased a Wowcher deal which was redeemed with the third-party merchant TheTravelMakers.co.uk and my experience has been extremely disappointing.

Since January, I have been trying to arrange suitable flights. The options provided by the agent, Jude, were more expensive than expected, so I requested a refund, which Jude agreed to. I have a recording confirming this.

I was told the refund would be processed within 10 days. That timeframe has now passed, and I still have not received it.

Customer service has been unacceptable — calls are not returned and messages ignored. This delay appears to breach the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and UK consumer protection regulations.

Unless resolved promptly, I will escalate the matter. I strongly caution others against using this service.

Problem solved

I’m really pleased that my issue was resolved, and I appreciate the support. While it took a couple of days to get a response to my initial email, the team handled everything efficiently once they replied.
