Just want to say that I ordered 10 or so saplings from 3fatpigs this February, before reading these dreadful reviews; and in our case the correct order arrived, well packaged, in good condition, with saplings in good apparent health. So no complaints here!

btw we are a country estate in Norfolk, so are no strangers to buying 100s of saplings

Don't be fooled by the nice website. They take your money and then blank you.
No phone contact number.
No company address (just a house address in Ireland).
E-mail enquiries are ignored if you have a problem.
A one-man-band sending out poor quality and unable to deal with customers who have a complaint.
If you want to be disappointed and then ignored, this is the place to go.

Very unprofessional, wrong trees sent, emails are ignored once they realise there is a problem with your order.
AVOID 3 Fat Pigs / Beechwood Nurseries.
I ordered 10 Jacquemontii trees but they arrived labelled as just standard "Silver Birch", which was not what I ordered. I contacted them and they replied saying not to worry about the label, they were definitely what I ordered.
The trees have now grown, and are very clearly just standard native Silver Birch, definitely not Jacquemontii.
I contacted their sales email, who initially replied to my email, until I explained the problem, now they just ignore all emails and don't reply.
Unbelievably unprofessional. Happy to take your money, but not interested if there is a problem. Just ignoring emails tells you a lot about this "business".
Their website has no phone number, so email is the only way of contacting them, which they ignore once they've got your money. The address on the website is just a house on a council estate.
AVOID.
They also challenge poor feedback to get it removed, so there are probably many more bad reviews which got removed because the reviewer didn’t jump through hoops to keep it on here.

Dreadful company, ordered 3 birch trees, received 2 dead trees. No response to multiple emails. Other plants in the order of very poor quality, terrible way to run a business.

This one star should belong to the currier only. The rose arrival already weak and it's dying back at the very beginning and the customer service was ridiculous.
Their presentation just like the three pigs in their web page.
Everyone should go and have a look on their delivery details and refund details! It's interesting!

I ordered 15x Griselinia on the Thursday, collected by DPD on the Friday and delivered to me on the Sunday. Plants were well packaged for the journey and are of good quality for the price.

I was a bit shocked seeing so many negative reviews on here but my experience has only been positive. I will be buying again. Thank you guys!

I ordered 70 bare root trees. They arrived quickly. Very well packaged and protected. Healthy, strong little trees. The ground was very wet so emailed the company for advice. Very quick helpful reply.
Then ordered one more tree at 7pm. It was delivered the next morning.
I would highly recommend them.

Griselinia Hedging

I got a tracking notification from DPD "order received awaiting parcel" on the 23rd, after no update to the tracking I contacted Beechwood to ask what was happening, the reply was very blunt "we will check your order with DPD tomorrow"
So now I wonder if Beechwood have actually given them to DPD and DPD have lost them, so I asked the question, Have you given them to DPD? Because if they have been kicking about in a van for 7 or 8 days, I don't want them!!
They replied with "WE OUR SORRY IF OUR LAST MESSAGE WAS TO COMPLICATED FOR YOU TO UNDERSTAND"
What is not difficult to understand is they are very unprofessional and don't care about their customers, save yourself some hassle and don't buy off these clowns.

Ordered 2 lots of 20 bare root laurel plants and have to say price and quality of plants was very good.
Very good service too

2nd time dealing with this company. First time ok. This time. - a bit of a disaster. Didn’t send all the trees I ordered, so I complained. No response whatsoever!
Obviously now they’ve got my money that’s it. Tread warily if you buy off this company. Their customer service is non-existent.

Excellent price and service, also very quick delivery considering they are based in Northern Ireland and they were delivered to the North East of England.

Was only a small order of 20 plants (~60cm in hight) all of them arrived safely and were well packaged with straw.

Wouldn't have any issues buying from here again.

Appalling Order / Customer Service for Four Weeping Cherry Blossom Trees ,Arrived No pot no soil ,wrapped in a sellotaped spear ,unknown species of tree roots with a Spliced twig join.
Tree roots that could be intrusive to property foundations ?i.e distance recommendation unknown.
Roots which Country of origin ?,is very frightening given the present European Fungus Disease ( Now spreading throughout U.K) Also Human Brian transferable, same Treatment Medicine as insecticide chemicals in current use ......mean ,no cure ! Huge Mistake to Buy from this Sellers situated in Northern Ireland next door to the European Union!

This company has a customer service team who instead of delivering customer support and helping customers, prefer to insult the customers. Go shop elsewhere! They are rude !

I ordered the bundle 50 Privet Hedge plants, size 30cm - 50cm, no where does it state that the pot is included in the size. 28 of the plants were below 30cm (inc pot) some where less than 20, the rest were barely over 30cm, emailed to complain, told to return if not suitable but you have to pay for the return. I reported to Trading Standards and as the plants are not as described and that they should be paying for the return as they are classed as faulty goods, goods not as advertised, Hopefully Weights and Measures will be in touch with them soon. They will not admit that plants are below size even after sending them photo's. Theoretically speaking they could put a 5cm plant in a 50cm high plant pot and class it as a 55cm high plant. Poor customer service, poor after service, 100% poor company - DO NOT USE!

I too had an issue with an order whereby they sent a severely diseased rose, when I contacted them, there was no apology, no offer of replacement, just the comment of send it back which will cost me postage.
It was meant to be a gift for someone
I have since returned it at an extra cost of £6.40. I will anticipate my refund. I cant gift it in that state

I ordered 2 trees from this nursery, one arrived dry, second hasn't arrived
They refused to refund
Avoid.

Great fast service, very good packaging, and the after sales team are very helpful in answering any questions.

I wish I’d read the reviews before ordering. There was no confirmation email and what arrived was a dead plant which had clearly been ringbarked. I won’t bother returning it as this is clearly a company which doesn’t provide a good service. DON’T USE THIS COMPANY,

Awful . Do not deal with this company. Delivered dead plants and I had to pay return courier. Then then did everything to avoid refunding me. Only I had paid on PayPal and they fought for my refund. Took 6 months. This bad company had no intention of refunding me. They also operate as Beechwood Nurseries. AVOID AVOID AVOID !
