The show is absolutely amazing. Still not sure how it's done, but that's part of the magic. Just accept the experience and you will love it. However, do eat beforehand, the food is dreadful. There w... Voir plus

Sound alert
Treat from family- interesting experience -in purpose built venue
Abba music of course great and Abbatars amazing but sound quality at this venue let this experience down badly
If you didn’t know the words you’d never hear them maybe it was just this day and maybe because the seats were to one side but the bass and sound are deafening to the extent of pain
Take some earplugs if this worries you hopefully the sound production team had an off day and will sort this
It was so awful I sent out an SOS

Dance floor experience ...
We were really looking forward to seeing Abba Voyage as we are all avid fans, we booked dance floor tickets but the amount of people squashed on to the "dance floor" is a joke and just greed you couldn't really move let alone dance! Unless you are more than 6ft tall I wouldn't bother !
So disappointed by the abba voyage…
So disappointed by the abba voyage response to those who missed the concert because of confusion over the start time. It is apparent from the number of complaints that there was a problem over the xmas period and shame on abba voyage for not owning this. I expected so much more.
Joyful, breathtaking beauty
You cannot believe these poor reviews because this is staggeringly good tech. Some ppl simply have no idea what they're looking at. This event is once in a lifetime and is at the very peak of what today's tech can do. You have literally never seen anything like it in your life. Ppl saying it's like watching videos are quite simply out of their minds. My second visit was better than first. I was spellbound by the extravagant beauty, the out of this world light show and the breathtaking, joyful half belief that ABBA was once again on stage performing.
Poor messaging over start time meant we missed the show
We had the same issue as Emily Harris below. Poor messaging about the start of the show time. Lots of people on Twitter also complaining. We booked through West End Theatre as a gift for my mums birthday. After checking the website was confident the show started at 7:45. Was greeted by site staff to tell us and other customers that the show was pretty much over when we arrived. Absolutely gutted. Have complained but they are unwilling to offer anything. So many other customers affected on the night too

This is a call out to HENRY TAYLOR and…
This is a call out to HENRY TAYLOR and EMILY HARRIS!! I went to see the show on 30th December but contacted the admin team at abbavoyage.com to query the fact their website said start time 18:00 yet Ticketmaster were emailing to confirm start time was the usual time of 19:45 (show start times were adjusted during Christmas and New Year. Anyway, I would like to support anybody and everybody who was affected by this as I have an email exchange between the Abba Voyage team and me and it is really clear they were not aware of the different times being advertised by Ticketmaster AND I have an email from them confirming they were working on getting Ticketmaster to change the advertised times. Then a few hours later, lo and behold, I received an email apology from Ticketmaster relating to the mis-advertised timings for the show (it just referred to Friday the 30th though) where they in effect take responsibility for it! I am happy to support you guys with this info because I think Ticketmaster have to take responsibility for this error!
ABBA voyage - disappointing experience
My family and I, alongside multiple other groups, turned up to ABBA voyage on 28th December and were extremely disappointed to discover the concert started at 18:00 not 19:45. We had therefore missed it.
Myself and my siblings brought these tickets for our mums birthday. We checked the tickets multiple times and the only information provided was @6pm. However, there was no indication as to whether this was doors open or the start time. As a result, we had to look at the website which clearly indicated that all evening shows start at 19:45.
The event had clearly acknowledged there was an issue with staff waiting to address the concerns on arrival. Additionally, an email was sent on THE DAY OF the show however this was during a period where very few people check their emails and had already travelled to London.
We have been refused compensation or ticket replacements.
It is extremely disappointing that such a popular event was unable to provide clear and timely information. Even more disappointing is their inability to acknowledge their error and make good.
Call out to anyone else impacted and would like to join us in fighting for ticket replacements!
Show started earlier than advertised!
Timings on website and on Ticketmaster were wrong meaning we and many others missed half the show.
Timings for 27th December bore no resemblance to Abba Voyage website which states doors open at 18:00 and show starts at 19:45. Show actually started at 18:00 and was finished by 19:45. Apparently revised timings were supposed to be communicated and as we were not alone clearly had not been.
Awful experience
Awful experience! The show is a complete waste of money, you may as well watch ABBA videos at home as that is pretty much what you are doing in the arena. Inconsiderate people standing up in front of us in a seated area and dancing, so my children couldn’t see anything and when I asked staff if we could move to some empty seats with a view, they refused Andre were very rude. I asked the couple in front if they could sit down so my children could see the show and received a load of abuse from them, (including a threat from the husband) then they had a word with the staff and I was threatened with ‘ejection from the venue’ as the couple falsely claimed I had swore at them and their word was accepted without question. This resulted in my daughters crying and my youngest experiencing a severe panic attack. What an awful night!
Absolute waste of money.
Absolute waste of money.. it was like watching videos on huge screen. The live band was very standard with 3 awful singers. Make a plan ahead as there is no parking in the vicinity… I feel they did not invest on that. It costs us £80 of Uber. The only star I gave was for the lighting.
With hindsight I would go and watch the swan lake for the 3rd time… instead of paying for a robotic music experience. Such a shame
So much fun
We had a fabulous family night out. We had departure lounge tickets and the staff there (and everywhere else) couldn’t have been nicer. The food was basic but nice and the drinks flowed freely. The show was great fun. Would definitely recommend dance floor tickets - seemed much more lively. There were maybe a little too many new songs for me but all in all the whole family had a great night out.
Thank you for the music ..
I bought a couple of tickets so I could take my partner being that we are both life long Abba fans and being in our 50's.
We travelled from Wiltshire by car and found the venue easily.
There's plenty of bars and outlets if you want to eat and drink - maybe a tad expensive but you can always eat and drink elsewhere beforehand
My partner bought a wooly hat from the shop which was £20.
I've read some negative comments and reviews but I have to say that my partner and I were totally blown away by the whole magnificient show. The lights, the sound, the holigrams and the band was simply out of this world. It has to be seen to be believed! We are already planning our return visit in the new year.
Oh, I must mention the staff who all stood out with great customer service but a special mention to Robbie who helped me ( Im disabled ) from the moment we arrived, to helping us to our seats etc.
Overall we cant fault Abba Voyage and a big thankyou to everyone for making our night so enjoyable.
The graphics were excellent but because…
The graphics were excellent but because the makers used a mix of old & younger Abba it meant it didn't sound like Abba..... very disappointing, and could easily have been avoided had they chosen either older or younger Abba !
And whilst the live support band were very good, there was too much about them rather than 100% Abba.
Great technology but overall disappointed
The positives - the technology was very impressive and it really did look like you were watching ABBA on stage from 40+ years ago. Also, convenient location being very close to Pudding Mill Lane station on the DLR (and not too far from Stratford).
Now for the not so positive (negative) - queuing in the rain for over half an hour to get into the Arena, for goodness sake, people spend a lot of money to enjoy the experience, not get soaked through, how hard can it be to put up some sort of outside covering to protect people from the elements.
The queue to get in was very slow, so more staff are clearly needed to conduct the necessary security and ticket checks.
The playlist of songs was a little disappointing as it left out some classics and instead included some less popular and new songs, not at all what people wanted looking at the crowd reaction, which went rather flat.
Some of the songs were played to a large screen showing a video of an animated character, which I could've watched at home. People went to see an 'ABBA Concert', not some random video.
Would I go again, no, would I recommend, not sure.
My advice, go and experience 'Mama Mia - The Party' at the O2, which is better value for money, more enjoyable and highly recommended.
Departure Lounge - Avoid as complete rip off and false advertising
Departure Lounge - rip off and false advertising
Customer service is non existent and this is a complete rip off avoid. Contacted CS after the event and terrible to deal with. To pay £99 each for this woeful experience - really!
To lay out lame cold charcuterie and olives and pickles while the FAQs explicitly stated hot food was going to be served was a clear misrepresentation and false advertising. Hot food was available outside which required purchasing separately. This facility is impersonal and truly dreadful. They serve pre-made "cocktails" from a dispensing pump - awful drinks and cold, stale food which has been sitting for a long time. Also, it was hugely embarrassing for me as I was hosting clients for the evening.
My sister and I flew into London from…
My sister and I flew into London from Copenhagen and Stockholm respectively on Thursday 10 November and had tickets via Ticketmaster for that evening’s ABBA show in Stratford.
Now, upon arrival from abroad we found out that on that specific day the tube was on strike and it turned out that we had absolutely no way of getting from our hotel in Chelsea to the arena. We started 3 1/2 hours before the show. Our taxi cancelled, 2 more refused to go, the bus gave up around Green Park and as we finally got to Tottenham Court Station by foot to try the Elisabeth line, the station was closed. Millions of people could not get anywhere.
I should add that Ticketmaster’s phone was not answered that night, nor was their ticket resale functioning. I then contacted ABBA voyage. Since now this was a “past event” (obviously), and I did not have a ticket insurance, they cannot do anything. I venture to assume that even with a ticket insurance that huge money making machine called ABBA voyage would just have refused to refund anyway due to force majeure.
Now, I would assume that we were not the only unfortunate ones who could not get there and thus missed the show.
My proposal to ABBA voyage - who is such a huge money generating machine - to stage a matinee or something in 2023 for all those who missed that night’s show was not recognised.
Well, shame on you.
Cartoons instead of avatars, bad song choices.
Abbtars are amazing but the whole experience was just ok, huge boring cartoon playing to abba songs instead of the abbtars, wrong choice of songs and running order ie new songs, and non hits, backing band and singers in total darkness,
Would not go again, I would spend my money on ABBA the party at the O2 been twice and would go again
Prices advertised are just LIES
Tried to get tickets from the main site and was directed to ticketmaster, we would have been travelling from Scotland and the price advertised is what I was looking to pay but not one of the dates available from November till the end of the tour is available at the advertised prices, I will not be booking any tickets unless they are as advertised. The cheapest price shown is from £21 and the cheapest available for the very same ticket via ticket master is £70.50 + booking fee, that’s almost 4 times the advertised price and is disgraceful practice. This led me to read other reviews and it was absolutely shocking to see the comments.
Fantastic evening
Fantastic evening. Right from the start the staff were very helpful & polite. My son's had booked this as a surprise for myself & my husband. As I am disabled they had got us the accessible seats. As soon as we arrived we were shown straight in & told where everything was located. Then when the doors to the arena opened I was escorted by an extremely friendly member of staff, Josh, to my seat where he helped get me settled. The show was fantastic, great atmosphere, couldn't fault it. After the show, Josh again was helpful. Having staff like him really made my evening so enjoyable & took away any anxiety I may have had about visiting the venue as a disabled person. Thank you Josh.
