Allwoods started in 1910 and became the worlds leading Dianthus specialist, their breeding breakthrough in the early 1900s revolutionised plant breeding with many techniques still used around the world. Many of our early varieties are still as popular as ever. They are dedicated and passionate about the plants they grow, and are proud to be able to offer such a wide range of unusual and interesting varieties, lots are rare and exclusive to us!! and all are ‘home grown’ on our nursery in Sussex by David and his team. They continue to breed new varieties.

Plants arrived promptly and in good…condition
Plants arrived promptly and in good condition,clearly labelled and ready for potting on, and this, in my experience, is how Allwoods plants always arrive, then they "get away" quickly and grow well, and if anyone is unsure how to look after them, there is a growing guide and a number to call if help is needed. they have a very efficient system, and it works!

I have got plants from allwoods for…
I have got plants from allwoods for many years have always be delighted,
Love getting the older varieties and also the rarer pinks and geraniums I live in an old cottage and try to have as many older varieties as possible. The plants are always sturdy and grow on well would defiantly recommend allwoods and always pass on there brochure to friends that love gardening.

Can't fault the service. Plants arrived very quickly (I was quite surprised too, given the recent storm damage Allwoods suffered). The plants were really good quality and packaged very well. Look forward to them flourishing, hopefully. Thank you.
