I had an excellent experience with Dr Xavier. After contacting the surgery, I was seen and treated on the very same day.

Dr Xavier was professional, thorough and put me at ease throughout the appointment. Everything was explained clearly and the treatment was carried out quickly and efficiently.

Anima, to which my village practice has recently switched, is intolerable. It does not allow enough characters - suddenly, without warning, no more are available. It is arrogant. For instance, it asks one to grade one's discomfort on a scale of one to five, but does not tell one how. One has to work out that one needs to get one's cursor into a circle on the left and then move along the line to the right. And if one fails to jump through all the hoops properly all one has filled in is liable to be lost. I foresee many more phone calls to surgeries, with the online route ignored.
Later, experience shows that Anima must be one of the most idiotic systems ever devised by man. It is unusable. I wanted to raise - and clicked correctly to raise - an administrative matter. Anima wanted to know if I had 'any other symptoms'. It then tried to ask a further twelve irrelevant questions. I aborted the attempt.

Always a prompt and positive reaction to all requests

It's nice to have Doctors that care about their patients needs.

Whenever my children need to be seen because of a concern we have or any illnesses that have arisen they are always seen to and the level of care they receive is brilliant.

Anima is used by my GP practice and they asked me to review. It's dire. I was asked to provide 3 blood pressure readings and given a link. The link takes you to a tedious log in (where you enter all your details yet again), then retrieve a verification code, then fill in pages and pages of irrelevant questionnaires none of which are remotely relevant to providing BP readings. There is no option just to provide requested information. Takes ages to use and is very unfriendly for elderly people who may have a worrying problem and are faced with endless admin. Badly designed customer interface. I hate it.

Much better experience than holding on the phone in a long queue and had a positive response very quickly with the outcome I hoped for.

They sorted out my appointment very quickly for a blood test , the staff and doctors are very helpful and very caring

This system is so quick and easy to use. So much better than phoning umpteen times to get a reply to a simple question. My query was dealt with and a resolution sorted within hours of me submitting it.

Excellent care and attention. When contacting the surgery, I always feel I am greeted with empathy, professional staff and easy access to medical staff appointments. Exceptional medical service and support.

My GP was fantastic and responded very quickly.

The receptionist at the surgery was polite & helpful and put my mind at rest that someone will visit my elderly mother at home very quickly.
I also spoke to Carl and the visit is arranged for tomorrow.

The reception team were exceptional and prompt at helping us to transfer over to the Bridgewater GP Surgery and subsequently arranged an immediate appointment for him through the easy to navigate Anima triage service.
